I patiently waited inline to do a return at, what appeared to be, Customer Service(there was a Big sign that said Customer Service on the wall). A cashier was finishing a transaction on the register to the right of Customer Service. When the transaction was over I expected her to then process my return. There was a customer that went to the checkout line after I had been waiting. The cashier then tells me «returns are processed through the checkout lines and I needed to go through the line». I asked her what the Customer Service line was for. Her reply«I don’t know». The cashier’s name was Nikki. I am the primary purchasing agent for the 3 construction companies I work for. This bad experience has made me rethink where we want to spend our purchasing dollars. My complaint will not end at this survey. I plan on e-mailing the Staples corporate office, telling other company employees of my experience and placing a bad review on Unilocal and Google. My recommendation is for«Nikki» to read my complaint and receive proper customer service training.
