Tried this place on a quick lunch break. I had been avoiding trying it since the dim sum place that had been there before was so awful. However, I was really surprised, I ordered 2 rolls for lunch a basic salmon skin roll and another premium roll with real crab salmon avocado and some other stuff. In short it was really delicious! I will definitely be returning. I recommend this place if your in Keizer!

I dined here on Mother’s Day, as sushi is one of my mom’s favorites. The service was outstanding and the sushi fresh, delicious and beautiful! I highly recommend this establishment as THE sushi go to in the Salem Keizer area!

My mom wanted sushi for her Mother’s Day lunch so we decided to try a place we’d never been, wandering aimlessly down River Road in Keizer until we found Ocean sushi. They had a nice sushi station where the food was prepared and my kids liked watching the sushi being assembled. Our waiter was very helpful and checked on us often to refill water and our hot green tea. They have affordable lunch combos from 11:30 — 4 pm for $ 9.00 that include miso soup and cucumber salad and either Option 1 — 2 basic rolls or Option 2 — pick 1 basic Roll and 2 orders nigiri. We chose to order off ala carte, getting unagi, tuna (ahi) and ikura nigiri and also ordered Dragon roll and another which I can’t recall the name because I was starving! We got a plate of chicken yakisoba noodles for the kids (yummy!!). Everything was delicious and prices are very reasonable!

Everything we ordered was super yummy! We ordered from the regular menu and the portion was decent. It took a while but it was worth the wait. The guys were pleasant and very helpful with the menu!

Small portions. Yakisoba was no impressive. They put soup in a container not meant to be used for hot food so it tasted like plastic. Would not go back.

Good sushi, great service, clean and relaxing atmosphere. Hands down best sushi in Keizer. We ordered tuna, salmon, yellowtail, eel, and octopus nigiri. We also ordered the phoenix roll, tiger, spicy tuna, and spicy salmon rolls. All delicious and fresh.

Great sushi find. Had miso soup, yellow fin tuna, octopus, and bbq chicken. Everything was of high quality and great flavor.
Staff was super nice, some guy in the back was demanding and very rude. The staff maintained compose, I almost did not.

Really good for the area. Salem/​Keizer area are lacking in stellar restaurants. This is by far the best sushi I’ve had in the area. Minus one star for lack luster teriyaki sauce. The grilled chicken and salad were good. The teriyaki sauce could use ginger/​garlic.

Great and friendly staff!
Had the udon & it was loaded with chicken and overall good portions. Took a Salem-​Roll to go to share with my coworkers.
I was told they have a late night happy hour starting at 8:30pm & I’d love some late night udon or yakisoba noodles.
This place has great potential, especially with offering late night hours for good quality food.

Great new sushi restaurant. Everyone here is genuinely friendly unlike other places I been to were they give you a fake smile and talk crap about you in the back. I been going here on the regular enough to were the chef and server know me by name and even my usual selections of food down to me liking extra ginger and no Wasabi. The atmosphere is also very pleasant compare to other sushi restaurant around town. If you love a relaxing place to go have sushi this is the place.

New Sushi place, but these guys have been in the sushi game for a while. Sushi is great, very clean, and the staff is really nice. Definitely worth a try.
