While they aren’t as fast as i want, they are very close and actually get you back to a room without waiting an hour, like larger hospital ERs. I find the nursing staff interactive, friendly and genuinely caring. Sometimes the doctors seemed rushed or distracted but also caring. I feel i can get treatment in half the time of other locations. I know they are classified as an ER so i prefer CareNow for colds and other minor issues. But it is nice to have a Baylor loc nearby for more involved medical care. I’ve gotten x-rays interpreted here and my son had ultrasound.

Billing out-of-network physicians in through an in-network facility… WOW!!! The facility is in-network but the physician is out-of-network. The result is a large bill even if you met your deductible for the year. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I had a family member who I was helping with billing from Baylor. My phone call was transferred around to a couple of people before I was connected to Cortney Tennison. She was incredibly and unnecessarily rude and I was offended because I didn’t deserve that verbal treatment. I was surprised because the other people I spoke with seemed nice and tried to get me in touch with the correct person in order to help me.

I visited the Baylor Medical Center in Keller after two weeks of fighting off what I thought was a bad cold. The patient care coordinator and nurse were fantastic but that’s where the positive experience ended. The physician came in, asked me questions, and said that he believed I had a virus and it would clear up on its own. One of my chief complaints was chest pain. He listened to my breathing and said there was no need for an X-ray. No blood, no urine, no tests at all. After leaving, missing more work and feeling like death warmed over, my body began to shut down. I ended up at an Urgent care with a very serious medical condition. Had he taken the time to treat me, I would have known 4 days sooner. The condition could have ended in my death, leaving my 3 children and husband without me. I will never return to that facility and any facility that man works at.

I sought emergency care here yesterday for moderate mid back, rib, and abdominal pain. I was taken to a room within 5 minutes and saw a Dr. approx 3 – 4 minutes later. My nurse was super friendly. Brought me a heated blanket and really listened to me(I wish I had thought to get her name). The Dr. was nice and I felt he was thorough. I initially didn’t really understand his diagnosis but he took time to explain and talk to me and tell me his reasons for thinking the way he did. The facility was exceptionally clean and welcoming. I hopefully will not have to utilize their services again but I would definitely choose them again if I did

Recently I had to seek out emergency care for a heart condition. When I went to the check in desk and said I was having chest pains, they immediately had someone come with a chair to take me to my room. The doctor came within the first few minutes to determine the severity of my case. I had several nurses working with me to check vitals, take blood, etc. My only concern was once it was determined I needed to be transported to Baylor Grapevine, I was left to my own devices for several hours(I was there for a little over five hours) without anyone coming in to check on me other than to run in and grab equipment to use on another patient. I wasn’t even asked how I was doing. Once I was asked if I wanted a blanket. I guess since I declined the first time they thought I would never need one. The place was very clean and the staff very friendly.
