Discount Tire Store – Keller, TX

Came to simply get a free air check because my tire pressure light was on. Pulled up in front of the same bay I always do for air and everyone turned to look but not one of them came out to offer help

Waited two hours. Resisted the hard sell to buy more than the one tire I needed and was not happy when I get home see they left my cargo area mess, not putting up my jack, spare cover or wrench even after pulling my wheel out of that area.

Assistant Store Mgr– Bill was awesome! Very knowledgeable, personable and helpful. Came in to get no frills tires for my daughters car. He showed me what they had and didn’t try to up-​sell me on anything in particular. In and out of there in 45 min. While checking out, he mentioned 3 rims being bent and I told him I knew about that because my wife ran over a concrete median a while back. He explained how the rims would eventually wear the tires quicker. He suggested replacing the rims. Again, no pressure and he showed me what they had. I got 4 rims at $ 95 each and the tires. Spent $ 1100 on new Mich tires and got $ 300 rebates

Every time I come to this location I some how end up with a guy name «Chad», This guy is the worst when it comes to customer service, Its to the point I rather drive to another discount to avoid this guy. This discount lost my business for good cause of this idiot!

Good service. Excellent warranty program. Just really sucks at wait times.
They know their customers need to wait and they make the experience as pleasant as possible. When I was at the head of the wait line, the open rep at the Service Desk took a call. Yes, I was a little bit put off that I had to wait — but I’ve been in the place of the calling customer too. Bill handled the phone customer with attentive professionalism. When it was my turn, he walked out with me to assess the shape of my tires, offered affordable choices, and there was no pressure upselling.
I didn’t give them 5 Stars only because of the wait time. (My car has not been seen yet.)
It is Saturday. They are extremely busy. I am sitting in a comfy chair with my phone, Kindle, phone charger, and a Sudoku book. Time to relax while someone else is doing the work.

Had my tires in stock was friendly but took 2 hours to get installed. They did rotate and balance my tires and offer bottled water to their guest while waiting!

So disappointed that I came here… after telling me it would only be an hour it’s now been an hour and a half I’m still sitting in the store… when I attempted to ask how much longer the guy got really annoyed like I was a problem not a customer. not to mention while watching the guys play instead of work, one guy named Steve or Stephen hought it was funny to grab another employees crotches… quite disgusting! I’ve had had good service here in the past but, highly dissatisfied with this visit.

I formerly went to their competition… for which I had horrible service most of the time. I made an appointment yesterday, they reserved the 4-​tires, I took my wife’s Toyota Highlander in at 9 am, I was done and out in less than 30 minutes. I am not sure if they are the cheapest, but they are pretty fast. They did not try to up-​sale me or super-​size me, At first, they suggested a less expensive tire, but I opted, on my on to choose one of the BEST tires. The ones they suggested were good, but since I have little ones and my wife to worry about, I want the top of the line tire for their safety. I will be back again, when my Honda Accord requires new tires. They do one thing, Tires and they do it well. Kudos to Bryan at Discount Tire.

Always treat me great. Give me a great service fix minor issues without charging me and always treat me like I’m the greatest person ever to exist on the face of the earth.

I was referred here by a friend who is very particular about everything. My first trip for service this summer was prompt, efficient, courteous, pricing was fair and met all expectations.
Most recently, I had an unexpected need for a single blown tire and the experience more than met expectations. Initially, the sales associate assisted with a warranty offer from the manufacturer due to cracking of the affected tire and its front partner, handling the transaction with the manufacturer without my involvement and making possible for me to purchase two tires, giving me a grateful sense of added safety. An unexpected situation came up and their associate, Rhett, was exemplary.
I highly recommend this company.

I came here for brand new tires and boy am I excited they are on my vehicle!!! Discount Tires offers free repairs given that you buy the warranty which is great.
This location is fairly convenient. They offer complimentary water bottles, the waiting area is clean, staff is courteous and they move as quick as they can. I came in during a peak time without an appointment and maybe waited 30 minutes at the most. Highly recommended.

These guys were courteous, helpful, smart and friendly. While Goodyear down the road couldn’t 1) fix my tire 2) get me the tire I needed if the fix couldn’t be done, Discount Tire was able to do both. They ended up patching and plugging my tire and not charging me anything.
Their waiting area is clean, they’ve got free bottled water and coffee and there’s a view of the workshop to know when they’re attending to your car.
Couldn’t ask for more.

Awesome service! Went in thinking i would be purchasing a $ 200.00 tire, end these awesome folks repaired the nail hold and sent me on my way in less than 20 minutes. Oh, did I mention at no cost to me?

Not a bad experience for buying tires

I bought my 2^nd set of tires at this location last month. The staff there is friendly and helpful. With an appointment, I get what I need done very quickly. Their pricing was good, but it does help to know how much the tires you want to get cost. Everybody I’ve encountered there was very nice and professional. I like that they’re conveniently located wherever I go.

I was there with a friend that had to change his tire and they took care of use very fast as we entered the location.

Quick service. Professional and very helpful. Will go back for all tire needs.

Normally I’s say OK, but since I bought our last set of tires from Discount Tire, I guess I am a fan. I do a bit of pre-​visit research, and at least narrow down my choice to a few options. Then I let the staff make their recommendation. Now, by knowing what’s on sale, and what tires have rebates, I can usually get at least $ 10 off per tire when I buy a set of four. I try to do a little other store research, but Discount Tire prices are good, and I like the idea that they are all over the place (in case I have a problem while out of town). With the extended warranty (about $ 18 per tire) you can get full replacement (standard warranty is pro-​rated value) on a damaged tire (as long as the damage is not due to vandalism or poor alignment). Lastly, be sure to take advantage of the free tire rotation (every 6,000 miles).
This was my first time to this location, and the staff was fine. I called to ahead to make sure the wait was not too long (it wasn’t) and took advantage of the TGI Fridays right next door to have a liquid libation while waiting.

I try this store every year or two because they are so close and I really like Discount Tire. Each time I am really disappointed at the lack of customer service, absent communication and a seeming total disregard. This last time was a web order with appointment. I show up at the appointed day and time to hear them say that the tires are not in. No call to let me know (as promised on the order form). Expect them later in the day and promised to call me with an update by noon. 2:30 — haven’t heard from them so I call and hear that they no longer expect them to come in today. Again, no attempt to call. I called the store on North Beach, they not only had the tires in stock, honored the price (the web discount was done at the previous store and had expired) but they had me happily on the road in under an hour.
This store has never been very good. No change.

DT is generally very good service provider for tires but this location has gone down over the past two years. Seems to have high turnover rate for employees. I went there a month ago, right before pulling into the parking area I almost got side swiped by an employee driving a customers car! Then I was totally ignored waiting at the counter for service. I left. As a customer of DT for the past 7 years, I suggest they take a look at this location for improvements.
