Our first visit was challenging. we came in with a child and requested the only open booth and were told that was only to be sat with 4 or more, then another couple came in with a child and were sat there. I did notify the manager and he was apologetic… so that set the tone. The food is very good, service is very good. our second visit we sat at the bar with no child and the bartender seemed uninterested in us and we had to ask for menus. Again food was good but unless you were drinking heavy at the bar… which we only ordered one, we seemed to be an inconvenience. Food A+ — Service C I believe food and customer service are the product in any establishment… We did give FnG a second chance and probably will not go back.

We came here for a Fathers Day Brunch and it was a very good choice. The menu items were fresh takes on old standards(prime rib Benedict) and great standbys(blueberry pancakes). My wife had the California Benedict and it is definitely worth trying. A combination of spinach, turkey, artichoke, and eggs Benedict sounds strange but they pulled it off to my wife’s enjoyment. I had the prime rib Benedict and the meat was shaved nicely, not overcooked, and the eggs were done well. My daughter had blueberry pancakes and though a little light on the blueberries, they were very tasty. My toddler son had scrambled eggs and didn’t throw them on the floor, so that’s a win. The reason for four stars is that service was a bit slow, didn’t get water refills but the gentleman was very nice. I’d definitely go back. Pro tip– they do take reservations but you have to call.

This is one of our favorite local places and we go at least once a week. Great, local food and decent service. But, I have to say I was disappointed tonight. After a somewhat large lunch, I ordered a glass of wine and side of asparagus for dinner. My son ordered the special-salmon which was delicious. Imagine my surprise when I receive me 4 stalks on a plate. really? $ 7 for 4 stalks of asparagus? I’m thinking I will find another local place to frequent with better value-there are plenty in the Keller area to be found.

Service was excellent. It’s hard to find this kind of food in Fort Worth area, so we appreciated that. They could use more vegetarian options on the menu. I didn’t care for the trio of dips; it wasn’t much more than shredded cheeses with mayo. But the fish was good. My guy enjoyed the pot roast and would order again. Lavender ice cream!!! Yum. They change the ice cream flavors regularly, but all around solid dessert menu.

This place was one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. I had the post roast and it was so very good. We sat at the chef’s table and the chef engaged in conversation with us and even gave us samples of what he was preparing. My husband had the pork chop and it was also amazing. We even ordered desert, despite the fact we were super full. Desert was just as good.

Has gotten better over the years and I want to acknowledge that. Food quality is excellent. Wish the local beer selection was wider, but room is great and they’ve hung in there. Hopefully service will continue to improve. Thank you for staying in Keller.

The food was amazing! BUT the staff was beyond helpful! I thought I had lost my Ray Ban glasses in the bathroom and nobody has turned them in. At the end of the night they were found under my table and the restaurant called me AND they even mailed them to me(I live in Austin). THANKYOU!!!

Underachieving kitchen + unfriendly service = unexpected disappointment Sunday brunch, comin in hot. Girlfriend heard wonderful things. Unilocal reviews were mostly stellar… Let’s do this! PROS Probably THE best Bloody Mary you can get for $ 3. Very spicy, loaded with pepper and horseradish goodness and a pickled jalapeño garnish to boot. Nice clean atmosphere. Patio felt a little too cozy but the square provided lovely people watching. CONS The menu looked way better than the food tasted. I attribute it to poor execution in the kitchen. I got my hopes up high for the Pot Roast Benedict. The dish looked great. I couldn’t wait to cut into the poached egg and watch that golden goodness ooze all over the roast. Didn’t happen. Yolks were cooked all the way through. If you put a poached egg that feels like a hard boiled egg on a Benedict then you just don’t care about what you’re doing. The flavor didn’t save it either. The roast was good… A little on the sweeter side which I’m not a fan of. The bernaise was bland and overall the dish was under seasoned. My girlfriend had the grilled romaine salad. We LOVE grilled romaine. But, once again, poor execution. They grilled the romaine for maybe 20 seconds so it was closer to fresh romaine than grilled. POORSERVICE. This all could have been fixed with good service. I agree with Don Q. Service is the biggest issue here. Our waitress was very unfriendly and made me feel like a nuisance whenever I would ask for something. I’m not talking about asking for a new fork because there’s a spot on a handle. I asked for salt and pepper bc our table didn’t even have it when our food arrived. What really seemed to peeve her was when I asked what hot sauces they carry. I promise you, people, I am VERY low maintenance… But this woman made me feel like a fruitarian at a Brazilian steakhouse. Also, never once asked how our food was. To cap it all off: The first thing I ever learned in the service industry is never let any customer ever walk out the door without saying some form of «thank you, good bye, have a good one». It’s an easy step that goes a long way. So it’s something I pay attention to every time I leave a restaurant. Unfortunately, the guy at the host stand was too busy staring at my girlfriend’s backside walking out the door to give me a «Good Day». Such a waste of a great looking menu. Fortunately, there are plenty of other menus served by much friendlier people in the square. I will probably stop by for another tasty $ 3 Bloody though!

Our first(and only so far) visit was for Mother’s Day brunch and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Richard, our server provided excellent service, the menu was unique and inviting and the food was excellent! There were four of us and we each had a different eggs benedict and all enjoyed their selection. The Mimosa’s and bloody Mary’s were well worth the price and all-in-all, we were in agreement, «we are coming back soon!». To sum it up, great food, great service at a very fair price!

After reading up on this place online I decided to go with a classmate so we could do our reports on an independent restaurant. We were not disappointed! What a fantastic place. The food is fresh and beautifully presented. The ambience is warm. The service was fast and pleasant. We will be going back! Also, the owner is a really nice guy and allowed us to interview him. We had to wait a while as he was busy talking to all of his guests. Thanks to you all!

It’s ok. The food was decent but the prices were high for what you get. They are trying to be too fancy but the atmosphere and food don’t really fit their attitude.

New to the area and so happy to have stumbled upon this delicious place! Take advantage of the beautiful patio and enjoy some wine as you unwind. They have a great selection of both red and white as well as craft liquor drinks and craft beer selections. For dinner I chose the fish & chips– oh my goodness I have died and gone to fish heaven :) the portion was massive and not greasy at all. It was exceeded my expectations for a high quality fish and chips dish. My husband chose the short ribs and was very impressed with the flavors as well as the portion size. We passed on dessert in lieu of another round of drinks(when the baby has a babysitter who can resist?!) but the chocolate cake was clearly a favorite since it made an appearance on every single table. Highly recommended and very excited to come here again for round 2,3,4 and 5.

Eggs were cooked to perfection and the sauce was just great! Service was incredible and environment is super welcoming!!! We are coming back for sure!!!

Good lunch spot in Keller. Food is quality and priced fairly for the proportions. Good seasoning and some unique combinations. I recommend the Reuben.

Our waiter was kind, but forgetful. The food was actually much better this time around. My husband and I both had the salmon with the special set up: veggies, rice and butter wine sauce. The salmon was perfectly cooked as were the other items. My husband loved the crème brûlée. My daughter was less pleased with her grilled cheese, as she thinks they should use American cheese since that’s what melts better and most kids like. Although cheddar is better, I tend to agree with her on that issue. She loved the fries; always a win here.

We were in the area so we decided to try this. There was nothing bad about it, but besides the decent wine, it didn’t seem any better than a Denny’s. The bison burger was overcooked, the waffles of the chicken and waffles were dry(my 6 year old pointed that out) and the prime rib Benedict seems like a good idea but the hollandaise was bland as was the«prime rib»(and it was sliced like roast beef). The service was good which is why we didn’t give the place a two.

Been here four times in past year. Service and attitude is the biggest issue here. Hostesses almost always have a poor attitude. Service is mediocre at best. Temperature is almost always too cold. When we request them to raise it, they tell us the staff gets hot. Seriously? It is definitely a chef run operation. Good food, but poor operations with little, to no attention to service. The wine selection is done by a staff member, not a true wine person. And, who does half price night on bottles $ 50 and below. Ridiculous. How about $ 100 or $ 200 and down? Again, chef driven, not operations. In closing, place is decent. Just too many other really good places up the road in South Lake.

Easily a 4 star rating. FnG eats has a quite creative menu, the kind we really enjoy. Nothing run of the mill tends to hit the mark with us, and this place has a great blend of traditional, and creative eats. There’s something for everyone on the menu, even tiny bites for our tiny humans. FnG also got the ever picky 4 year old seal of approval. Food was hot and grub-a-licious, staff was the friendliest we’ve seen in town(which is crazy friendly by California standards), and the environment was trendy, hipster, youthful, and unique. We’ve only been for lunch, and the environment was just loud enough to accommodate our squealing toddler, but my gut tells me we’d be the loudest people on the block if we brought him to a dinner meal at FnG. I could be wrong… We’ll be back, and I might be able to convince my husband for a trip today ;).
