I took my kids here after shopping at Lowes this weekend. We all loved it. The boys got regular hotdogs and I got a Polish Sausage. There was a pretty good selection of items. The guy working there was very friendly, outgoing and it seemed he had quite a few returning customers. For 3 hotdogs, 1 polish sausage, 320oz drinks and 3 bags of chips for under $ 15, you can’t beat that!

This is one of those carts you see by the exit of Lowe’s and Home Depot(this one is at a Lowe’s). For a while now I’ve walked past the red and yellow Vienna umbrella, wondering how the food might be. Well after striking out at Celio’s today( ), and still craving a Chicago style hot dog, I thought I would give this cart a try. First off, if I was rating for a Chicago style hot dog, it would be ONE star. Why? Jeez, where to start… No poppy seed bun. Not even a steamed bun. Just a Mrs. Baird’s right out of the plastic bag. Next, do it your self condiments. No tomato. No pickle spear. No sport peppers. No celery salt. A total fail. I opted for jalapeños, onion, relish and mustard… So maybe that’s Texas style. Still, I see that Vienna umbrella and I expect a bit more. However, as far as a hot dog goes(I had the jumbo beef) it was OK. Just don’t come here expecting Chicago style. PS. Not sure of hours, but it seems more geared to the lunch crowd.
