We visited many preschools and this wound up being our top choice. Although the price tag is hefty, it came out lower than ¾ of the places we visited. That didn’t sway our decision though. Upon arrival, we were met with a wonderful and caring Director(Angie) who took us on our tour. This is a franchise owned location, and the owners only own this one location. I am told they are on property daily. The teachers at Primrose all must have degrees in order to work there. You can totally tell they are all well educated, caring, and they all seem to enjoy what they do. I was comfortable with each teacher, as a potential caregiver for my children. There’s a kitchen in the center of the facility, where the children’s meals are cooked every day. It smelled delicious when we arrived at 9am, as the chef was making a peach crisp for afternoon snack :). YUM! Every child there was engaged and working on one thing or another. I really liked each classroom setup. The facility is smaller than some of the preschools we visited, but it also means smaller enrollment sizes, smaller student/teacher ratio. All very welcome differences than the many other facilities we visited. They playground equipment was well maintained, and ample for the kids. We did, however, see other facilities that had more extravagant play equipment, but that wasn’t a deal breaker for us. They have a side yard with room to run, and is used for the on-location gymnastics, soccer, and other vendors that visit once weekly. They also have a fun little outdoor garden for the older kids. They take part time and full time students, they also have half-day options, and an after-school program. They take a wide span of ages, and also house their very own private Kindergarten program. As the children get older, they can go on field trips, but I believe they have to be school aged. Parents are given the option of receiving their updates on their children by form that they receive when they pickup their kids, or digitally. You get these updates daily. They do not have cameras on location, for the parents to access during the day. When embarking on the journey to find a preschool, I was incredibly nervous. My mom runs a childcare center out of state, where my kids attended previously. I didn’t think anything could top that, or even make me feel comfortable. Not only did my children feel comfortable, welcome, and happy here, but so did my husband and I. This was without a doubt, our top pick.
