Still our first choice when it comes to getting coiff’d. Lien (pronounced Lynn) has been cutting our hair for many years (3+) now. I am happy to see her business grow, but it does mean just walking in is not a good idea. I highly recommend calling for an appointment.

Thy completely damaged my hair and bleach the hell out of it. I look like I have on spot of dark hair in the back as oppose to a ombré which I asked for. They missed some spots on my roots. They even brushed my hair when I insisted NO because that damages it. They tried curling it when I didn’t want it to. I walked out with my money. They treated me poorly and made me feel uncomfortable when they were speaking a different language which was rude, we are in America speak English.

I went there for the first experience and felt satisfied with my new haircut until turning home. At first, I wanna my hair to be curly and a little highlighted. Thuy, lady with long hair, talked me out of my wish. Moreover the work might take longer than I was available for. After discussing my trivial problems with her for a while, she gave me the style that she recommended on me. It turned out to be the best male conventional haircut I have had here. However, it is too short for me to have it curved next time. But I still love my current hair style.
Unfortunately, she overtrimmed my eyebrows, which I didn’t ask for. But I’m fine with it :))
The price is reasonable. This is one of the few hair salons that open on Sunday. I will return here for another time.

What happened to customer service!

Beware of the bait and switch when it comes to prices. I went here twice and both times I was very unpleasantly shocked when she rang me up because the price was nearly double what I was quoted. She quoted me $ 85 on full highlights, but when I got to the register the charge was $ 140. When I questioned her on it, she pointed out the plus sign after $ 85 to indicate that was only the starting price. The $ 15 haircut ended up being charged $ 35.
Also, I’m really unhappy with the highlights — she completely destroyed my hair. I’ve had full highlights before, and even though I have a lot of thick hair, it never takes 3 hours for full highlights on me (and they never stuck me under a dryer with bleach on my hair like Lien did.) The technique was also very sloppy and I had to pay nearly $ 300 elsewhere to fix her uneven technique. I wish I would not have tried to save money by going to a cheapo salon in a strip mall, especially because it didn’t even end up being much cheaper anyway. In the past when I’ve paid comparable prices for hair services, they at least offered me a drink.

She was sooooo patient and took all the time needed to do a great job with my super long hair :) I’m very happy with the results and definitely coming back :)

Tried the new lady today, Linda. I recommend both ladies for a thorough, and inexpensive haircut. One year in and this is my go to place for the entire families haircuts!!!

Lien is a very nice lady. She paid attention to my hair unlike my last hairdresser who cuts my hair really fast and made some mistakes. She have been doing hair for about over 25 years now, 10 years in Vietnam and over 15 years over here. The price is extremely cheap for the kind of services that she give.
Only bad thing though, her highlight works are not very good. I recommend going to Tony and Guy for that (the school down the street, not the shops).

Top Cuttery is recently opened by LIen, who used to cut my hair at another shop. I usually specifically requested her at the other place because she just flat does a consistently better job. So, when she started her own place, I followed her over. I’m always well treated, the quality of the work is excellent (and consistent) and now I appreciate her entrepreneurial zeal in opening a local place where getting quality results in more than just the crap shoot that it is at other places in the area.

Consistently excellent. Lien (pronounced Lynn) was a tremendous find. If you want someone who cares about cutting your hair and doing a good job, then get your haircut here. I saw her at the previous shop she was at, and she was the only one out of 10 that consistently had people waiting for her. The other people who worked there surely must have been jealous. But you know what, if you do a good job, people want you to do it.

Great place, great lady, and an extremely thorough haircut for the price. I recommend this salon to anyone looking to get a good haircut on a budget. The stylist was incredibly nice and talkative. She isn’t an A+ English student by any means but she was very cordial and generally interested in her customer (me) and doing an excellent job. If you want a good haircut for under 20 bucks this is the place to go.

Highly recommended. The lady that cut my hair (I believe her name was Lynn) was very attentive and friendly. She went around at least three times to be sure that everything was even and looked good, very high attention to detail. At $ 13 it was a good bargain as well.

I agree with the previous review. If you’re looking for a good decent hair cut at a competitive price Top Cutttery fits the bill.
I had a little difficulty understanding the lady who cut my hair, but she made sure she new exactly what I wanted and she took the time to do it right.
They are also starting up some good promotions to drum up more business. It’s worth a look for all you around the Keller area.
