The Island House Inn

I only give this 2 stars because of the location & décor. It was way overpriced for a bed, shower & hard pillow. It took me several hours to find out the wifi password which it ended up being a horrible Internet connection anyway. There was no cups/​glasses in the room let alone a mini fridge, hair dryer or anything else one might find when they pay that much to stay somewhere. The website says 20% off on week days, but the owner only quoted me 10% off. It is listed as a B&B here, but they don’t even offer coffee in the room, let alone breakfast. I did end up carryings some things around with me all day because I didn’t feel I could leave them in the room. This house is used as an inn, a restaurant and bar. We were able to get glasses from the bar. We also had to ask the wait staff for fresh towels. The restaurant staff was very nice! We did hear noise from the bar as we were going to sleep but lucky for us they weren’t too busy by the time we went to bed. I still had trouble sleeping because the toilet was running & the air kicked off until morning. The ceiling fan made a horrible noise if put on high. I was exhausted when I got home. However, I now know to ask B&Bs if they serve breakfast & coffee!
