Lety’s Shear Elegance

After calling at 10am and leaving a messag, one of lety’s employees calls me back. About 6hrs later. I ask if she knows how to do hair extensions. She replys no, so I ask if I had the accessories would she know how? Again no, then she proceeds to ask Lety, comes back with another no. I told her I’d really like to be a customer of theirs and it was not a difficult process to add tape hair extensions. Blows me off. Looks like Lety is a wealthy woman to pick and choose her clientele.
Looks like I’ll be taking my business to ukiah.

I read the review and I must say this is not correct. I have been going to Lety for years. She is the most outstanding person I know. One thing about Unilocal is anyone can write anything.
It had to of been a BIG misunderstanding!!! Maybe it was nerves before the wedding.

I went into the shop today to make an appt for me and my SO. We wanted gel nails for both of us, pedicures for both of us, brow waxing for both of us and he wanted a hair cut. The owner and two nail people were present, twice in the conversation I was asked about my SO getting gel nails each time I asked if they had a problem with that, I received no answer to my question but when the owner asked me if we were married (apparently she was asking if he was gay. I had had enough. I said that I would have to think about using their salon and left. Apparently they can afford for a customer who was going to spend quite a bit of money to walk out of the door. I have to say the nail ladies didn’t seem to have a problem with my SO getting his nails done but the owner, Lety sure did. There are to many places who appreciate your business to waste your money here.

I just started going to Lety, the owner of Shear Elegance, about three months ago and could not be happier. She’s cutting, coloring and highlighting for me. She’s a skilled, personable hairdresser with a friendly team in her salon. And can you say ENERGY? Her enthusiasm and good spirits will stay with you long beyond your appointment.
