How refreshing! What a warm welcoming atmosphere. The food was great. And much to my surprise they served fried okra! I will definitely be going back.

We really love the breakfast here!!! We ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs and s breakfast burrito… Really tasty!!! The prices were great and portions are huge!
The staff is really sweet and friendly too.
We will be eating here every time we are in town for sure!

Consistently good food & service. One of out favorite places to eat out in lake county. Nancy makes us feel at home and ensures our experience is relaxed and pleasant.

We just moved into the area from Seattle and were delighted to find this place. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked to order. Presentation was nicely done. Sausage gravy was refreshingly homemade, not overpowering, and just plain tasty. The staff were cheerful and fun. We will definitely be back!

The food was average at best. Everything was bland and thrown together. I was charged for a large when I ordered a regular. The order ended up being over $ 5 more than it should have been. It’s a shame that one of the few options in the Riviera for food is so poorly executed. I would recommend eating elsewhere.

Was not impressed with food or service. $ 1.50 for a soda and the rude waitress handed me a can of soda and a glass of ice. I’m not impressed with service like that. Food was mediocre at best. We were the only ones in the restaurant and it took 45 mins to get our food. Not good

Went here over the summer with my boyfriend expecting it to be a cute small-​town café, but it turned out to be a terrible experience that defied both our expectations. We both ordered fried eggs with hashbrowns and sausage. After about 40 minutes of waiting – even thought the café wasn’t even completely full – and watching everyone else there get their eggs benedict (even people who came 15 minutes after us!) we determined that this place was not for us. When our food finally did come, it was mediocre at best – soggy hashbrowns and lukewarm eggs, and the sausage was almost certainly the cheap Brown n’ Serve brand – and if I’m right, it’s not only unprofessional but also really processed and unhealthy. Overall, it took us about an hour and a half just to eat our breakfast, and 90% of that time was waiting.
Would definitely not recommend this place.

3^rd visit to the Blue Moon Café.
Small, cozy and adequate food in general. However during our last visit, there was a strong odor when we walked in. Bit of Pine scented cleaner, dirty dish water and bathroom odors. It was quite strong.
Very attentive staff, gracious and friendly but lots of visiting at the cash register, noisy chatter among owner and and staff and possibly family or friends of the owner.
Insipid french toast, bitter OJ, average coffee. Not inspired to go back soon.

I love this place! Never gets old. Nancy is so nice and the food is always fantastic. You can sit and eat, and watch deer walk by, how cool is that?

After our long Easter Sunday drive to Clear Lake it was a nice surprise to find this cute little café.
They offer a delicious brunch with a complimentary Mimosa, and it was the perfect way to finally start our day.
Thanks to both Nick and Nancy for being the perfect hosts. We will definitely be back with our big appetites.

This place really deserves 5 Stars for its food, service and value! But it might miss set expectations which is always a disappointment. The Blue Moon Café (BMC) is only short on ambiance but so many good little places lost their charm when moving to a «new & improved» location I would not for a moment suggest the BMC relocate.
I’m only downplaying the looks of the place because from its appearance you might decide to skip it – and that would be a mistake. For YOU and for Nancy Young, the owner/​manager! She’s as welcoming and hospitable as can be and the food really is terrific.
Last night I had a starter of Jalapeño Pockets, their Cobb Salad and Meatball soup. Washed it down with a couple of Racer 5’s and left, once again, a happy camper. My neighbor shared the starter and had the Chicken Marsala along with Sauvignon Blanc.
I mention the drinks because Unilocal lists BMC as «full bar» but they’re really beer & wine. But not «whine». You will not leave this place unhappy or whining about the service; instead, you’ll be online telling your friends it’s worth the drive to enjoy this neighborhood find!

Love this place! Went in for breakfast I got the vegetarian omelette with a side of pancakes and my boyfriend got the grande breakfast burrito (which was Huge!!). Both meals were awesome, we both loved it! Great prices, great portions, we had a very friendly waitress, definitely will be going back. :)

This place is awesome. The staff is very polite; my waitress was very accommodating, friendly, and authentic. They ran out if bread bowls so the chef improvised with a ‘homemade garlic toast’ bowl, it was amazing and definitely comparable to clam chowder quality found in restaurants on the ocean.

Geat place with good food. Went today just as lunch started. I got the Cobb Mountain salad and my friend got the BLAST sandwich — a BLT with avocado. Everything was freshly made and good. Prices are good and service was freindly too. They have patio seating under a grape arbor with a nice selection of music playing; not too loud or obnoxious. I’ll definitly go back when I’m here visiting friends!

Great little café. I had the blue moon burger and partner had fish and chips. Sat outside in a nice breeze. The owner and staff were very nice. Check it out!
