I had a horrible time. This young waitress exactly my age 24yrs old who has a 4yr old little girl started flirting with my dad. Needless to say they exchanged numbers and since then he and I have been at odds. Even when I was a bartender I would remain professional. Do they let all their single waitresses that are in need of an older man because of their situation just sit down and flirt and give out their number to customers? So unprofessional and unforgivable!!! Bad service since she wanted to flirt instead of doing her job.

Went there for breakfast on our way home from Galveston and the food was reliable as always. Nothing special but always good. However, our waiter, Dean, made it a great experience. He was friendly, attentive, with a dry wit. Went out of his way to make an ordinary breakfast a very pleasant experience. He needs a promotion!

Ordered breakfast to go for 4. I personally had stuffed french toast. When I got home and opened the container, I have no idea what was inside. Not edible. The rest of the order was great.

Came here today and was really pleased with the service by our waited, Robert. What a nice guy. Knew what we wanted before we asked for it. Was very attentive and just a wonderful server. That guy could be serving at a black tie restaurant making tons in tips. Lost a star because my sausage had a ton of hard pieces, really low quality meat.

So after running the Fred Hartman bridge, you do tend to be a bit peckish. According to my Garmin, I burned 702 calories, so yeah, I was a little more than peckish. I was RUNGRY! The wait was about 15 minutes, and hopefully we weren’t too stinky, as we stopped here right after the bridge. But it was only like 60 degrees, so we weren’t too bad. I noticed they stuck us way in the back by the emergency exit though… lol Our waitress was super sweet and brought out all the extras that we asked for promptly and with a smile. It wasn’t over the top amazing service, but she was efficient, nice, helpful and prompt. To me, those add up to good service! Everyone’s food was good; hot and fresh and made the way we ordered. Two friends got omelets, and tow of us got the light breakfasts. Although, after I ordered, I was like, I need more food! It really was enough, though, as I was full after. I got two slices of turkey bacon, two scrambled egg substitute eggs, two pieces of wheat toast and fruit. It was perfect! I’ve always had good food and good service here, and I do like IHOP as they have a nice selection of calorie laden breakfasts, and lower calorie options. So, yeah, yay, I’m a fan!

The waitress wasn’t very good but, whatever. Not like I could’ve done a better job. The food was satisfactory enough

I work in a high end restaurant and live down the road — my expectations are not high. However, I eat there enough late at night after work to know a few people and to know what I’m getting for my ten bucks. No Rooty Tootie Fresh and Fruity for $ 3.95 here. It’s late night over priced fast food — I get that. Tonight, I went in WAY early for me and ordered the bacon EXTREME omelette. Supposed to have six strips of bacon. I like bacon. I really do. I know the internet has gone all memey lately on the whole bacon thing — but, I like the stuff. I usually order the combo breakfast with bacon, ham and sausage, but they had this awesome picture of an EXTREME omelette with SIX pieces of bacon in it – sold. Omelette comes, it’s a gorgeous piece of over cooked eggs on a flat top art. I was really impressed. So happy to take my first bite of baconey goodness — cut through the middle. *I hate the barren first bites from the end of an omelette. So, what goes? No bacon in the middle. No bacon anywhere. So, I unrolled the masterpiece of plastic menu cloneage— NOBACON. Nada, Six strips of bacon may be over the top for one meal — I get that. It sounded really good at the time, though. To get ABSOLUTELYNOBACON with a few sprinkles on top tells me that the management at the store might just have a LITTLE to do with it. Drunk people come in, pay a lot for crappy food and leave. On an early Sunday night — put some bacon in the six bacon omelette — please. No way the kitchen staff makes a decision like that on their own. Food costs are a message from management. «Hey, let’s not put any of our left over crappy bacon in the six bacon omelette.» The really young manager was very nice when I called him over, but not surprised. I walked a tip up to my waitress without explanation and left. Lesson learned about this location.

Ok so the prices here are just too much for the quality of the food. 1 Choco chip waffle cost 7 bucks! Really though the only way to not get ripped off at Ihop is to get whatever special they are having. Just tell them to put whatever gunk that the«special pancakes» have on the on the side and you can get a not so good breakfast at a good value at least. My eggs always come out with runny whites which I can’t stand. Bacon is wafer thin. Pancakes are not bad though. Hey I have said enough. It’s Ihop so you know already. There are better choices even in major chains.
