Ever since the original staff and management left, this place has been on a downward spiral. It used to be the place to go for coffee and more but then they switched management, stopped stocking some of their classic stuff, turned off all of the TVs that used to have cool videos in what seems like a weird way to save money(not a good luck that you’re struggling). Once the ambience goes back to how it used to, and employees stop sitting down and texting all day — this might be worth visiting. In the meantime go to Aroma on the beach or if your at the mall Starbucks is always the way to go.

Unfortunately, all they have is a great location. I’m a coffee lover. Even after noticing the place was quite dirty with scuffed up walls and dirt on all the shelves, I ordered my coffee. The servers, all three of them, had unhappy attitudes and no interest in working. The tv screens were down. The coffee $ 2.50 for the smallest shot of bleak espresso I ever had. Wish another coffee joint would take over the space.

Really nice place to have breakfast. Warm ambient. The croissant tastes really good. The coffee can be also the Venezuelan style. I can definitely recommend this place

Overall, it’s a decent espresso bar. I ordered an iced latte and cheese Danish. Good taste, but nothing out of this world. The reason I’m giving them 3 stars instead of 5 is because the menu isn’t displayed when walking in and the furniture is a bit uncomfortable. I don’t think I would go back because I’m a student that usually works with her laptop and I didn’t see any outlets for customers.

Came here when it first opened and the soup and sandwiches were GREAT, if slightly pricey. Well, the food has been getting worse and worse with each visit. The last time I had lunch there, the sandwich was very dry. I can make better a better sandwich with Publix brand cheese, bread and those high sodium cold cut packages that cost a dollar. The soup had a metallic after taste. I decided to give it one last chance and ordered a turkey sandwich to go. I was starving, but couldn’t finish the sandwich. I now felt as if I were taking my money and lighting it on fire. Don’t know if it was the dryness, or the strong, slightly sour turkey flavor that made me wonder about the freshness, but I knew I was done. Never, EVER going back. Too bad because I love the interior of the place.

Friendly service with outside seating, located at one of the mall’s entrances. My father had the broccoli and cheddar soup which he liked but was a bit too salty. The salmon and croissant plate was of his taste. EXPRESSO and coffee were on point! I had the vegan portobello sandwich which I give a 4/10, for desert the Filo Apple stick 10⁄10. The furniture needs to be fixed/replaced for my chair and our table were unsteady.

This place has the rudest staff!!! They are disrespectful first of all. They grouped by the bathroom and spoke hornet about their supervisor. Horrible service, no smiles, they were cursing. Just a bunch of uneducated people running a muck. Whiteness this multiplr times and decided not to return. Gross

The service seems to get worse the more I visit. One of my last few visits, I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and salmon. They forgot the salmon after the order was repeated many times. My last visit, I was at the register ready to order but had to wait for the cashier to finish arguing with someone on her phone. A to go order for a bagel and cream cheese took 15 minutes. I hope something changes because the food quality is actually great, but the quality of service has definitely suffered. There is no sense of urgency and no real feeling of welcome when I walk into the café. Also, where is the management?

I love this place!!! I decided to stop in after eating at Earl’s. I was craving an iced coffee or Frappuccino that I usually get at Starbucks, so I ordered the Ice Aroma Light. I decided to go with the light to avoid the extra calories. The service was quick and I love the little chocolate that the drink comes with. It is such a cute idea and a nice little treat. I live across the street from the mall, and I definitely need to come here more often for a coffee.

Came is just wanting a coffee colada. A little pricey for Miami. Slow service, we waited like 10 min after ordering. Staff can be friendlier, too. They have sandwiches under $ 10, but we didn’t have any. Will go elsewhere for coladas, for sure!

A friend introduced me to aroma espresso bar, and though it was tasty, the service and presentation leave a little to be desired. How can and espresso bar run out of sugar free vanilla syrup?! I don’t see how it’s possible when there are plenty of supermarkets and other food outlets that sell that product, and sending someone to go grab some is not outside the realm of possibility. It’s either laziness or against corporate policy, and both of those things are annoying. I ordered the warm garbanzo chopped salad(garbanzo beans, hard-boiled egg, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, homemade garlic croutons, tahini sauce, parsley, and lemon vinaigrette dressing). It wasn’t actually served warm, but it was tasty enough. I tried a touch of the dressing, but it seem to add no flavor whatsoever so then I disregarded it. The salad itself comes with a choice of bread… When the server remembers to give it to you. Which might have been great to sop up all of the liquid in which the salad was sitting. The café latte that I got was perfect.

We’re fans of Aroma and don’t often get chances to enjoy as we don’t have them where we live. We checked this one out on a Saturday for a late breakfast. I had a croissant and basic coffee. They were both delicious. Service was okay, nothing spectacular. Would definitely visit again when in the area.

Definitely ditch the Starbucks and head here for your caffeine jolt at Dadeland Mall. Not only is the coffee better, but they also have seating for you to actually relax and enjoy your drink. While you might not be coming here to work, for someone like me, it was a welcome surprise to find that they had plenty of outlets available for plugging in and also easily accessible wi-fi. In fact, I sat down and worked for about 30 minutes before ordering and no one on the staff seemed to bat an eye. Quite refreshing! When it did come time for a drink, the young staff was very friendly and had my macchiato ready pretty fast. Whether we like to admit it or not, all of us are suckers for free stuff so the cute little piece of chocolate that accompanies every drink is always a plus. In addition to the variety of drinks, they have lots of food options that are definitely more fresh and healthy than that Chinese stuff from the food court(although I don’t blame you for going for that anyways). Unfortunately, they didn’t honor the punch card I had collected from another outpost. Said they weren’t doing that here which was a bit disappointing because, you know, we are all suckers for free stuff.

I love this place! I work close to here and I can tell you Aroma’s has become my favorite place. My routine has been before work stop by get my Aroma Coffee and my hot chocolate croissant! The chocolate croissants here are the best and they bake them fresh everyday. Besides the food, seems like all the staff is trained right. No matter what person makes my coffee it’s the same every time. I know good trained employees are hard to come by. So thank you to all aroma baristas for making sure my day starts off right

Since I happen to frequent the mall often, I finally decided to give this place a shot. As soon as you walk in you’re greeted by a friendly face and your order is taken instantly. The girl behind the cashier was pleasant and extended my options, since I was a newbie. Prices for most drinks start at $ 3.50& up. Prices for bakery treats range anywhere from $ 2.50 to $ 5.00, depending on what you order. For the size & quality of the goodies, I find that to be a bit steep. Anyway, I went for an iced latte(my usual at Starbucks). After I paid, I went to the counter to watch the barista make my drink. If I had known my drink would be considered of a cup full of milk & what looked like a shot of espresso, I would never have ordered it. Once I was handed my drink, I took a sip and all I could taste was milk. I don’t know if they know to make an iced latte, but that is definitely not the way. On my last visit, I ordered the iced hot chocolate. Bravo to whoever brought that to the menu! It was delicious! Though I am still basing this review on the coffee item I previously ordered about a week ago, Aroma did sort of redeem itself when I got the iced hot chocolate.

This place is the best new spot at Dadeland mall!!! Located in the new wing. Creamy perfection is the way to describe their coffees. I’ve aromas are great! You have the option to add hazelnut or vanilla, but my favorite is the hazelnut one. The service is impeccable, the staff is really friendly and courteous. The salads they have are extremely good and very healthy, everything is fresh and when served is nicely presented. Sweet tooth? Well the almond chocolate croissant is out of this world!!! A bite and chocolate oozes out with a perfect buttery consistency from the croissant accompanied by crunchy shaved almonds topped with powdered sugar! Yes this is a MUST have and be sure to ask for it warmed up. Your life will never be the same after you bite into this.

Sweet little spot in Dadeland’s new wing. Stopped in with my mom and sis for coffee and a treat. We had cappuccino, macchiato, and shared a brownie. The coffees were perfection. Probably some of the best coffee we’ve had. The cap’s were smooth, creamy, and the perfect temperature. The brownie was meh… I like my brownies fudgy and this guy was kinda spongy. My sis and mom enjoyed it. The offer a nice variety of pastries, sandwiches and soups. We were able to enjoy outside seating since it was March and we were having one of those serious 70 degrees Miami cold fronts. I don’t see this place getting much action in the boiling summer months, unless by snowbirds or obnoxious European tourists.

Nice little quaint coffee bar in the new expansion of Dadeland Mall. It also has a very nice outdoor seating area. There are more food options here than at most Coffee Shops. Flavors on coffee, however, are pretty limited. For letting my friend and me enter about five minutes before shutting your doors, gladly making our beverages and not rushing us out, I issued you the fourth star. Honestly, we had no idea how late it was already. But, it’s minor details like those from a business that rarely go unnoticed. Thank You

From the mall entrance, it looks like a typical fast food Starbucks kind of place. However, it isn’t at all. I had the iced cappuccino. They asked me if it was to go. If you drink it here, you get a real mug :) obviously, you get a plastic to go cup if you choose to take it. I also tried the alfajor cookie. It was very good & went well with my coffee. They have free wifi, a nice interior, and they even have a patio area to sit. Next time I’m in Dadeland, I’ll pass on Starbucks & come here for sure.
