Ay, this place is closed?
I’d have to say that the overcooked burgers did not help them out. For a couple bucks more you could have much juicier and tasty burger from Bobby’s Burger.
The chicken sandwiches were actually pretty good.
The fries and haystack onions were delicious. Crispy and surprisingly not too greasy.

This place is a piece of shit. Overpriced, awful service, fries were stale and over fried. Got awful vibes from it.

I’m not a picky eater, but for a $ 10 quick meal spend your money elsewhere on better quality food… Service was quick, but unless those $ 10 are burning a hole in your pocket go elsewhere.

Craving a burger but not wanting to venture too far out of my tiny Kendall box, I decided to hit this place up.
The honest truth is, that even though I enjoyed it, I really don’t think this place has staying potential. It’s missing a bit of soul. I don’t know.
But with that out of the way, I’ll say that I loved the burger. Its taste was reminiscent of Shake Shack, without all that Shake Shack hype. I also happened to enjoy their Smash Fries, since I’m a sucker for a tiny fry– the smaller, the better. I also got to try the Haystack, which is like eating a Bloomin’ Onion (read, DELICIOUS).
It was a solid burger, but the place was kinda desolate… I’m not sure if they’ll be around much longer. I’d definitely go again though.
Staff was also really friendly, so that’s a plus!

You walk in, and the place looks inviting and clean. The staff is friendly and they are very knowledgable about the menu. I tried their truffle, mushroom, and Swiss burger with their smash fries. Overall, all the flavor components on both the burger and fries were spot on. So why the 3 stars? Because your name is SmashBurger. The least favorite part of my meal was the actual meat, which was almost borderline too dry to eat and no seasoning. I had the «Big» burger, but for the price I can see where others would get upset about the portion of the smaller one. My best advice, skip the smaller burger altogether and go for the big one. If the patty was moist and flavorful, I would have given this place 4 – 5 stars.

First time going and it was a great experience! My boyfriend ordered the Baha Burger which he really enjoyed since he’s obsessed with pepper jack cheese.
The place had a nice chill atmosphere, which was nice for an afternoon lunch.
It was definitely worth the 10 mile drive!
Definitely coming again!

So after working a looooong day, i didn’t have the energy to cook so i decided to make a quick run SmashBurger. From the moment i walked in through the door, the staff was so friendly and extremely knowledge of the menu. I was reading over the menu trying to decide what to order. The front desk staff (I didn’t get his name), was so patient with me, that he asked just a few questions on what i craving. He was able to point me to Create Your Own Burger. I order the burger with Goat Cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onions. I was actually looking forward to my choices. However, BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.
The burger patty itself was just too dried out. I understand they have to fully cook their burger to well done, but it was just too dry. The Lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, and had just the right amount of onions. The Goat Cheese was at a bear minimum. I opened my burger was completely disappointed with the lack of goat cheese. I mean… WOW… it was barely even noticeable. The bread was the whole wheat, which also was very bland. The burger over all did not have any flavor what so ever. Will defiantly not be having his burger again. Did I mention the burger was dry?
Also ordered were the Haystack Onions. Can you say: SMUSH and GREESE BALLS. There was nothing, i mean nothing crispy about them. the breading just fell right off and was soggy. Very disappointed in them as well. It came with a pink sauce which was ok. nothing special, just ok. It come in a little sauce container which they pressed down into the soggy Haystack Onions, which cause it to become a bigger pile of mush. Mushy Haystack Onions and dry flavorless burgers… what a combo!
This meal was a total disappointment. The food is just not impressive or special or with any flavor.
The place was practically empty. I do have to scythe place is very clean. The service and staff were very friendly and all smiles, which made me give this place 2-​stars.
Will not be going back any time soon.

Tiny burgers at a standard burger price. My boyfriend and I both ordered «big» burgers while our friends ordered «regular» burgers. I promise you, we noticed no difference in the size of the burgers. As for taste, they were definitely tastier than your every day fast food «burger», but nothing out of this world.

So I’m on the hunt for the BEST burger ever and decided to try smash burger today. LOTS of seating inside, relatively big, bigger than I expected since the store front isn’t so big. But there’s a lot of depth. Plus outside seating and lots of booths! OH THE BOOTHS HAVE A SUPER SOFT FUZZY BACKREST! The seat is also super comfy. Like a pillow.
Their Oreo milkshake is made with HAAGAN DAZ ice cream, one of the best milkshakes I’ve had next to Fuddruckers. They even give you the leftovers, which is my favorite part lol nothing makes a milkshake order Better than leftovers, which some places don’t give. The consistency of the milkshake was perfect, not too milky and not too thick.
Now the BURGER… I ordered the bacon barbecue burger because the photo had these delicious looking crispy things in it. Turns out, they’re crispy onions hehe. They were like chips. I was surprised when they served my burger because it looked EXACTLY like how it did in the photo! It was DELICIOUS. the bacon was a little sweet and crunchy but not burnt, the crispy onions added a pizazz to it. Sometimes I don’t like drinking a milkshake while eating a burger BUT pairing this burger with a milkshake was just wonderful.

Fries are good. Food is OK not awful but not outstanding. I guess I would say average for a burger place. The only down side to that is that the price is a bit higher than average.
I like the location and would make it there more often if it wasn’t for the wait times… Really you need patience here, but when I’m hungry the last thing I want to do is wait and wait and wait…

Been to this location 4 times already, no other location, in fact.
I think they have pretty tasty innovative combinations, fresh tasting toppings chicken sandwiches too, veggie burgers, decent fries and crispy sweet potato fries, excellent shakes, paper menus to grab and peruse if there IS a line and a well presented wall menu to decide from, Lines move quickly, service is rendered with a smile and a friendly greeting, a clean looking store with comfortable booths and outside seating too. Order and pay at the counter, get your own drink from their selection of ice teas or sodas, then the server brings your food to your table. (Mostly) clean bathrooms, (paper on the floor and had to ask for toilet paper), and good parking in a large private lot
In spite of my never ending quest to have a burger cooked if not rare, then at least on the rare side, I understand that this Smashburger won’t do that and I understand why and it has all to do with not being perfectly confident with the source and quality of meat. purchased and the e-​coli scare and deaths attributed to lack of this confidence.(read «Poisoned» by Jeff Benedict). Yes, I acknowledge and understand. all this… and they make a pretty tasty burger anyway, cooked medium which I don’t love, but I can live with. So at Smashburger, I say Please, NO MORE than medium to which they acknowledge and agree.
When this last time the burger came out really hard around the edges and I flipped it over and the bottom was BLACK, It was totally unacceptable.
Along with the onion straws I usually get being clumped together with batter thereby NOT cooking in the middle and leaving clogs of raw batter over raw onions. well it was not my day.
Ryan, the manager, while not apologizing, said something about the (chef?) getting confused with multiple orders, did recook the burger and it was excellent
I was told the onion rings «sometimes come out that way» and no offer was made to make another order or substitute any other side for me.
I’ll go back. Hoping the experience and food will be more akin to my first three visits there. and if it more closely resembles the fourth, then Smashburger and I will part ways.

Much better experience today. Went to smash after church with the family. Had the all-​American big with an extra patty. This time I truly could appreciate the seared patties and the egg bun. I had the regular sweet potato fries and they were good.
Overall everyone enjoyed their order, especially my wife, who had the grilled chicken club with avocado.
I will definitely be back.

For dinner, I had the Miami burger! I have no idea what it had on it… chorizo fries and some other stuff… but it was heavenly. It was one of those burgers where you had to open your mouth wide, and your mouth would hurt the other day (that’s what she said), but it was so good! Take out the onions that will make it taste better.
Their burgers are better than the chicken sandwiches because they are meatier and juicier. I highly recommend trying their Miami burger. It’s one of the best and most creative items on their menu.

I typically steer clear of the chains but I just can’t resist the Avocado Club Smash Grilled Chicken sandwich. This time I added chili cheese fries which were good. I like the tea selections as well. I’ve been to two locations (IL & FL) and they are consistent and good albeit a little pricey. Everything is a la carte. Lunch typically runs $ 12 to $ 13.

On Sunday afternoon I had a big craving for a burger. After searching through the bunch of new burger places that have opened up in the area, decided to go with this one. We placed our order to go. We ordered the chicken sandwich with spinach, tomato, and goat cheese, and we ordered a burger with avocado (I think it was a burger BLT) and we ordered smash fries and sweet potato fries. We also added a vanilla shake. When we arrived at home and opened up our meal, we found that we had a chicken sandwich with avocado and a burger with spinach, tomato, and goat cheese. Ugh…
So we decided to switch up the ingredients to make what we originally asked for. The taste was ok. Nothing to be thrilled about. The fries were even worse. I’ve had better in all fast food places. The best part of the meal was the shake, but also, not something I can’t get anywhere else. I’m not sure what people have liked about this place… Maybe I ordered the wrong food, maybe I went on a bad day, but maybe not. I don’t think I’ll go back to find out.

I decided to try this place a few nights ago. There were only about 3 – 4 parties in the place, but EVERY single booth was dirty and covered in old food! I had to ask someone to clean one, so we could sit down! It’s pretty gross to walk in and see that! They must be short staffed.
Although I felt like leaving, I proceed to the register and place my order! I «build» my own burger! I had an egg bun and topped my burger with an egg, grilled onions, and American cheese! We also ordered the smashfries and haystack onions!
The burger was good, but Fuddruckers remains my favorite! I like Fuddrucker’s bread and the flavor of the meat better! Smashburger, however wins hands down when it comes to their sides! The fries had a rosemary garlic flavor and were perfectly crispy! Same with the onions! They had great flavor and were very crispy! Devine! My favorite thing on the menu! I would go back again for those haystack onions!

I tried this place after hearing about new burger places in Miami. First impression, this place is too cold inside. Might want to not set the thermostat so low.
This place has burgers on par with Five Guys quality without all the grease. They are sold with three choices, regular, big, & double:
Regular is 5oz while
Big & Double are both 7oz with only dif being one 7oz patty versus two 3.5oz patties.
It would have been nice to have been asked how I like my burger cooked but maybe that’s some health code thing for fast casual food places.
The place was clean & modern, the staff was mostly great with exception to when I went to ask for a to-​go box & three of them played let’s pretend we don’t see him standing there for a good two or three minutes while they were all less than 5 feet away. Customers in front of you first, your other tasks can wait!
The burgers were great but I have a few gripes with the fries. The fries are not included with the cost of the burgers, & they only come in one size which is on the small side for $ 2+
They serve Coke products so big thumbs up there as Pepsi sucks. Would I eat here again? Yes. I uploaded a bunch of pics so check them out.

Lets start with the inside.
Clean floors and freshly painted walls and everything inside is new.
Bathroom are clean and so are the tables, booth and chairs.

The person who took my order was nice and friendly.
Experience and Food
After you place your order you get a number and you sit at a table and they bring your food. I ordered a Vanilla Shake and it came out Fast. That’s the only thing that did!
I waited 25 minutes before I got my Burger and when I did it was Cold. What The Fuck! I told a member of their staff who in turn spoke to the manager and all I got from the manager is a Coupon to come back and not even a I’m sorry it won’t happen again give us another try.
When I finally got the burger made Fresh it looked Great but tasted Horrible! Whatever they put on it sure was Too Much! The salt, Garlic powder, and whatever else they put on it over powered the Burger.
The Sweet Potato fries were OK. They too were Cold and Nothing to write home about!

This place is awesome. Thank you sweet Jesus for another burger choice close to my home that is not a grease wad with boring toppings. Hooray!
We had takeout — which I learned means you go and order and take it home. This place doesn’t let you order over the phone which kinda sucks but as the super energetic dude on the phone promised it was ready «in 5 – 7 minutes.»
Hubby went to pick something up for me but was sold on the description of the All-​American so he gave in and ordered it. I ordered a spicy black-​bean burger on the Avocado Club sandwich on whole wheat bread and sweet potato fries. Hubby’s burger was ridiculously good — meat was juicy, not greasy, perfectly seasoned, yummy bread, good cheese — love. My black-​bean burger was amazing — I’ve never had a black bean burger before and having had this delectable creation I am now spoiled. It came w/​applewood smoked bacon, avocado and ranch. Delicious. The fries were so good they were gone before we got home — about a 5 minute ride. Those fries took sweet potato fries to a whole new level.
The cool thing about this place is the ability to customize your burger your way — your bun, your toppings, your choice of patty on whatever sandwich you want, etc. They also offer hot dogs and shakes, which I am eager to try.
