Kenmore Happy Nails

I have been going to Happy Nails for a few months, and always have a great experience. The owner Tracy is very friendly, professional and above all a great nail technician. I would defiantly recommend giving Happy Nails a try, I think once you do you’ll be back.

Yikes… Bad marketing!
I called today around 1pm to make an appointment for my Groupon mani-​pedi. A woman answered. I told her that I’d like to make an appointment. She asked me when I’d like to come in and I said, Thursday. She asked me what service I’d like and I said that I purchased a Groupon for a mani-​pedi. She quickly asked me for my phone number and said, «I am busy.» She said she would have to call me later. I didn’t want to believe that the Groupon appointment that I purchased and was asking for suddenly made her want to get me off the phone but after waiting the rest of the day and not getting a return call (as well as reading the rest of the reviews before me) I think I get the picture. I will be calling Groupon to get a refund and count myself lucky to not have made an appointment.

Kenmore Happy Nails did not give me a happy experience.
I came here with a friend who bought groupon for mani/​pedi to celebrate our birthdays and do ladies day out. She made an appointment for 10:30am. I showed up earlier than her. As soon as I came, the lady (I think she’s the owner) asked me to picked a color and kept on asking if I picked a color and hurried me up because somehow making an appointment at 10:30am messed up her whole day. First impression… wow, so RUDE!
Now 10 minutes later, as I was sitting on the spa seat and she’s working on my feet, she kept on telling me that my friend is very late. Again telling me that making appointment for 10:30am, somehow messed up her schedule for the whole day. And I told her that even if my friend arrived on time, nobody can start working on her because there were only her and another guy who worked on someone’s nails too at the moment. She replied that another person is coming because 3 people work in her salon. Finally, my friend arrived. And, guess what… She was asked to wait because nobody could work on her. Again, she told her that making a 10:30 appointment messes up her schedule. She made us feel bad until at one point, my friend consider coming back to get her nails done.
Five minutes later, another client come. Immediately, she asked that client (instead of my friend who came earlier than her) to sit on the spa seat and got worked on. After she’s done working on the feet then they moved to the table where she worked on that client’s hands.
While I waited around for someone to work on my hands.
The guy who’s finally done working on a client asked my friend to sit on the spa seat and started working on her feet and then her hands.
An older lady came to help out at the salon (she’s the 3^rd worker) and while I waited for her to work on my hands, I realized that she only helped out cleaning after (throwing away stuff, cleaning the spa seat etc) and just sat around watching TV/​relaxing.
We finally got out of the salon at 12 pm. The guy worked on our hands there on the spa seat, not on the table like the other client. My guess is because we have groupons. Nail job on the hands is sloppy because he’s in a hurry to get us out of the salon and done on the spa seat. However, one star and tips for him because he’s happy and cheerful instead of downright RUDE.
I will not come back to this nail salon. Getting a nail done is a luxury for some people and while I’ve only been to a few salons in my whole life, this by far is the worst experience. Service was bad as if you got it for free. Thank you but no thanks!

Absolutely terrible experience. Must say Vins was pleasant but the owner was downright rude! Will never go back again. Not worth the groupon price for a mani/​pedi. They do the manicure while you are sitting at the pedicure station because we had coupons — honestly Vins told us that. Manicure was very marginal — I actually had to remove it because it was so uneven and basically a messy job. If I could give it 0 stars I would. The one star is for Vins.

This place was great! Don’t be fooled by the outside, the inside is very clean and bright and the service was awesome. I got a French shellac mani and French pedi and loved the end result. The staff is very nice and friendly, I’ve been to bad nails salons where I was unhappy and glad to have found Happy Nails, they lived up to their name, I left happy!
Also I ended up getting my eyebrows waxed and thought they came out beautfully. If you’re thinking about getting you nails done, defiantly give this place a try! I’m happy I did.
