The UPS Store

As we head in to the holiday season, where shipping is a must, I wanted to give a «two thumbs up» to Priya, Amit and the staff at the Kenmore UPS store! I’ve had a box there for about 4 years and they are always tremendously helpful, courteous and go out of their way to be helpful and supportive. On several occasions I’ve popped in there for a printing need — unexpected, of course, and in a time crunch, it seems. They’ve always been very helpful and considerate and helped me get on my way with far less stress than I entered the store with! I actually look forward to stopping in for the mail — and I bet the mail in your home mailbox doesn’t feel that way! It’s great to support our local community — and this is one I’m happy to give my money too!

The UPS store in Kenmore is now my preferred stop for mailing packages. There are at least two to three people on shift handling all the customers properly, unlike the post office, the latter of which I have vowed never to return. The nice woman who helped me mail my uncle’s Christmas present was very knowledgeable about her business and did not have a thick accent that was hard to cut through, like the guy at the post office (no offense).
They UPS store gives you several options for packing, shipping and insurance for just about any budget, and unlike the rude post office employees, they won’t dog you for wanting some last minute tape to finish up your package (at the post office they make it clear you have to pay for tape (!)). You can also bring your items here without any boxes and they will pack and wrap them for you at a reasonable charge, which is very handy when you have the money and are in a hurry.
It’s like night and day with this UPS store and the post office. I recommend this place instead of the post office to everyone I know. The post office’s days are definitely numbered, and it’s good to know that we have an affordable and professional shipping alternative.

BE SURE THAT YOU LIST **EVERY POSSIBLE** VARIATION OF ANY NAME THAT YOU MIGHT RECEIVE MAIL UNDER.
If not, they will return the huge checks that you have been sweating over.

If it’s a business, list EVERY employee, account name, etc.
I kid you not. You can rent a business box here, they will tell you that only the 1 personal name is ALLOWED TO PICK UP MAIL, when it’s only the 1 personal name that they will accept mail for.
And yes, they’re SLOOOOOOOWWWWWWW…
If I hadn’t just paid them for a YEAR, I’d be moving again.

Expensive, slow and unorganized.
They also refuse to let you use your business account number here, so annoying.

I am Bill, a 20 year UPS Driver. I have the Kenmore UPS Store on my daily route. I have had the pleasure of working with Amit and Priya Patel since they opened the store several years ago. Simply put, as a customer you have choices as where to ship, print, rent a mailbox etc. I can tell you this. I have never heard more positive comments from their many loyal customers, than from this store! The employees are dedicated and courteous. The owners are innovative and will work very hard to earn your business and more importantly, keep it!

Super friendly and efficient service! They gave me all the options to send my packages and let me choose the one the suits my budget and needs best. I also like that they have printing services, sell greeting cards and iphone accessories (chargers, cases). All of these have come in handy.
