I was fortunate that Robert @ Wizard Tree Service responded to my Craigslist post– and also followed up with me, after I forgot to get back to him with a time for the inspection.
I had a 120 foot tree that died due to flooding. I was quoted thousands of dollars and knew I didn’t want to spend that. Robert came by, quickly assessed, gave me a price and time and we shook hands — how it’s supposed to be done. He was great to chat with, did great work, and had a great price. He owns his work and is very professional and safe. Highly recommended and will be calling Wizard again for ANY tree removal or haul job I have.

Robert did a fantastic job. He is very professional, prompt at getting quote & following up on all questions. His prices are great. He’s also a very nice person and great to work with.
Robert did clean up for storm damage when a tree fell on our property He cleaned up our side, removing all brush & branches. The neighbor also hired him to take down the remaining tree. He then cleaned up the job site, left the wood at our request, and mulched the chips so we could use for our garden.

Robert took down a very large 100ft cedar tree for us among other tree trimming work. He gave us a very reasonable quote for the work. He showed up on time to do the work. He was very quick and professional in how he took down the tree without causing any damage to our house. He did a great cleanup before leaving. I would highly recommend him!

Robert did two jobs for us at different locations and I highly recommend him.
The first job was trimming back branches of two very large fig trees located on our neighbors’ properties, but growing over onto our property and house. He did a great job of getting the branches back to the property line and a terrific job of cleaning up the leaves and branches.
The second job was climbing three large fir trees to take off dead limbs, shape the trees, and to thin out the branches for better air flow and to avoid winter damage from ice and snow. Again, he did an excellent job. He was careful to cover plants, signs, and lights that might be damaged by the falling limbs. He did an extraordinary great job of clean up.
He was timely, courteous and professional. The costs were very reasonable and fair.

We had a tree that was splitting down the middle with all the heavy branches facing the house. Not only that, but the tree was in a difficult location. I contacted several other places. One of them was too busy to help, but recommended I call Rob. Boy am I glad I did! He returned my call a couple hours later (he was working another job at the time), and said he could be at our house in an hour. He showed up 45 minutes later, looked at the tree, and said he could do it right then! Not only could he get it done right away, but he gave me a GREAT price!
I was amazed at how quickly and expertly he dismantled the tree, falling pieces with amazing precision. His 10 years of experience in the field really showed. Not only did he do a great job, but he was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. He is a very hard worker and obviously takes pride in his work.
After the tree was down. He cut up all the useable wood into lengths for use in our fireplace, and promptly loaded up his truck with all the residual branches. He then proceeded to get out his blower and clean up the area around the tree. The ground was cleaner than before he arrived. I can’t thank Rob enough for his great work and great attitude.

Used Wizard to remove a problem branch on a huge maple that had split in the back of our house. We live on a very steep slope and this branch was ready to go at any time threatening to damage my home or my neighbors home. It could have also hurt someone if they were there at the wrong time. Every tree company I called was busy with other work and Rob was referred to me by another company. He showed up quickly, assessed the situation and gave me a very fair price to come out the next day promptly at 8AM to get this issue taken care of. Rob was professional, efficient and amazing at taking this branch down piece by piece. After he had everything down, he quickly cleaned up and disposed of the wood and he was out by 12:00. Problem solved! My neighbor and I both slept a lot more comfortably that night knowing that the danger was gone. Thanks Rob for the outstanding work!
