I stumbled upon this little coffeehouse going on a walk in the rain. There’s a variety of coffee options and a whole display case of pastries that all looked delicious. There’s plenty of seating inside(even in the rain!) and a nice little outside patio. A nice place for a quick coffee stop or a longer stay with a friend.

Decent coffee, good gluten free options. Servers appear to be somewhat arrogant and aren’t friendly in the dozen or so times I have come here. In addition, this place is overpriced. 2 iced coffees and 4 macaroons shouldn’t be $ 17.

We stopped in on an overcast day and were delighted with what we found. ‘Mornings’ is slightly off the beaten path and charming inside and out. I enjoyed a Salt & Silk, white mocha with salted caramel. If you’re looking for a dessert espresso drink, treat yourself to one of these! You’ll be glad you did.

This place is great during the summer season. It’s a mess after Labor Day. I have gone in every day this week and they do not have at least 2 of the things I ask for. They can’t even get their coffee machines and iced coffee machines turned on today. They are very apologetic for their deficiencies but it’s the same issues day after day. I will update my review when things improve

Back story: Once upon a(long, long) time(ago), I used to frequent the Mornings In Paris on Exchange Street in Portland. I had many a first dates there, and it was my go to stop for a hot cup or tea when bopping around that part of town. As a matter of fact they carried a tea called World Peace(I thought it was romantic and whimsical that you could order a «cup of world peace»). I bought a pound. This was quite a few years ago. Current day: When my friend and I decided to play tourist in Kennebunkport, I knew I needed to kick off the day with an iced coffee. I totally forgot that there was a MIP here, and was delighted to stumble upon it. As soon as we entered I blurted out without thinking, «DOYOUSTILLHAVEWORLDPEACE?!» A nice girl behind the counter smiled and assured me they did. «ISTHETA I BOUGHTYEARSAGOSTILLGOOD?» She assured me it was. I breathe out a sigh of relief. All was well with my world. And it still is knowing this gem of a coffee place is still around(and that I can get more World Peace when I finally run out — I had been previously hoarding it thinking that I’d never get any again). The atmosphere is homey, woodsy, inviting, and feels like a little slice of Europe! I’m not sure what my friend got(I was in a happy little world of my own for a moment), but I settled on an iced redeye with soy. Kind of basic, I know, but it’s a pretty fab drink to use a benchmark for other coffee shops — MIP’s hit the spot just perfectly, FYI. The wonderful girl at the counter did inform me they could make me World Peace an iced beverage if I wanted; she also patiently and thoughtfully went through many, many of their specialty drinks because there were so many delicious options to choose from. If you’re a lover of macarons, know that MIP also carries a vibrant and spectacular variety, along with other baked goods and sweet treats. I also love that they’ve got one of those«give a book, borrow a book, take a book» areas in their café. Absolutely worth the stop whether you’re a local, a local playing tourist for a day, or a tourist in need of a pick-me-up or quiet moment!

I love coffee and some times while traveling it can be difficult to find the perfect almond milk latte, but Mornings in Paris nailed it! The café not only serves a good cup of coffee, gluten free and vegan treats but they also have a beautiful décor. The staff was so friendly! This is a must stop while visiting Kennebunkport.

This is the best place to get something sweet and do some people watching. My mom and I came here almost every day this summer after discovering Marcus’s lattes! He literally makes the most incredible lattes in the world. so rich and creamy with the perfect foam. Thank you for being the highlight of our vacation!

Pleasant shop with decent cappuccino and a nice selection of baked goods and French macaron. Indoor or outdoor seating. Not perfect, but a worthwhile option for your coffee requirements!

Love this quaint little café. The macaroon and chocolate mousse trifle were very good. Coffee was nice and strong. Definitely worth a trip back the next time we were in town.

Red velvet frappé!!! Amazing!!! Every Danish to their quiche looked to die for. Going back again tomorrow. There was a bit of a line but they were quick.

Coffee so good, it’s best drunk black. And I never drink coffee black. Flavorful espresso. We enjoyed some croissants and coffee cake outside. Super friendly service. By 1030 they were sold out of bagels and a variety of pastries

SO cute. The entire outside seating area of Mornings in Paris is made to look like a French café, down to the EXACT chairs that I saw while in Paris. It was the cutest touch, as was all of the French inspired décor inside the café as well. While we got to-go each morning we were in Kennebunkport, there was plenty of seating inside. Our first morning there, we each ordered coffee(Café au Lait for me, Columbian roast for BF) and I was asked what I’d like the coffee base for my Café au Lait to be, which I thought was a nice touch. We also ordered 6 macarons, because I have a weakness for them(pistachio, crème brûlée, vanilla, dark chocolate, pb&j, and raspberry). The macarons are thick, with a lot of filling(different from Laduree, but not in a bad way) and were delicious — the pb&j actually tasted exactly like a pb&j and the pistachio filling was creamy and perfect with just the right amount of sweetness. Our second morning we replicated our coffee orders, this time adding in a slice of Maine blueberry coffee cake — the total for two medium coffees and a breakfast pastry coming out to $ 9, which is a steal in my book, especially for the quality of the coffee(and deliciousness of the coffee cake, and HUGE slice of it). The line moved quickly and service was good overall — no issues whatsoever in that regard from our perspective. Absolutely adorable and such a cute addition to the main Kennebunkport street — I was a little wary of what a Parisian inspired café would be like, but was pleasantly surprised by it. Definitely a repeat for future trips.

My all time favorite café! Their drinks are specialty made and unique, and their desserts are out of this world. Makes me really feel like I’m in Paris! My friends and I spent our high school years coming here to talk and hang out, it’s wonderful. The environment of the place is also amazing!

First, I loved the décor and atmosphere in the shop. The staff was also friendly. It’s a great place to settle in with a book for a few hours. I ordered a Pumpkin Tea Bread, small medium-dark roast(Old Port), and later followed up with their Chocolate Stout Mocha. The Pumpkin Tea Bread had great flavor. The drinks were average; the coffee seemed a little watered down even for a medium roast; it’s also more pricey than average, but perhaps that’s because it’s in a vacation town. I also ordered two macarons, rose and green tea. These were disappointing, the filling had too much of a buttery texture and taste that it took away from the true flavors. However, given that this is the first place in Maine that I’ve found macarons in, I shouldn’t be that picky.

Yummy chocolate crossaints. Coffee drinks are pretty good. I got here early before a line formed so I had quick service and found parking. I can imagine that it gets busy and parking is limited in front.

Came here for the highly Unilocaled recommendation of a Red Velvet latte. It was tasty albeit not spectacular. The place was mostly empty which you would think would motivate the man behind the counter to display an ounce of appreciation for a new customer. Instead, I got just about the coldest shoulder I have ever received. Attempting small talk was like pulling teeth. Not sure if this was the owner, but this older gentleman does not belong in a customer facing role. The guy even had the audacity, after ignoring my attempts to chat, to tell me to close the door that had swung open. Would love to return to try each of their intriguing latte flavors. Unfortunately, I can’t imagine spending another dime here.

Cute little place on the shore. The red velvet frappé was amazing and new to me. The macaroons were exciting because I don’t know of any other place to get them in maine. although I have had better there was a large selection of flavors including peanut butter and jelly. There were delicious croissants and a selection of savory hand pies. The petite fours were lacking. The flavors were quite fake tasting. The staff were friendly and helpful.
