The Sharpe Gallery

What a gem! Not your run of the mill seaside gallery. With a variety of themes and artists, you are sure to find something that speaks to you. The gallery is filled with large colorful, vibrant abstracts as well as beautiful seascapes. Owner Tracy Sharpe is a very knowledgeable art curator and is a delight to work with. Put this one on your list. You won’t be disappointed.

The Sparpe Gallery was a wonderful find last Thanksgiving while we were visiting the area and staying at the White Barn Inn. We bought the Blue Creeper (photo above) by Linda Murray. I just fell in love with the piece and, Tracey the proprietor of the gallery, was wonderfully helpful. She answered all of my questions — I had a lot! And she made me feel so comfortable I could ask some quite basic questions about the various styles of art in the gallery, and she was endlessly patient with me.
The gallery has some beautiful Maine landscapes, and wonderful European pieces; but it’s known more for its less pedestrian pieces. A great variety all round.
Perhaps the best part — Tracey and Linda both came to our home to deliver the painting and even helped us hang it. We live west of Boston, so it was over 2 hours away — now that’s what I call service!
The Sharpe Gallery is a must visit!
