The guy that checked us in was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for dog-friendly activities in the area. They even have an app! The room was clean, well appointed and comfortable all around and obviously dog friendly. I’ve travelled all over the country and had been surprised to find that the northeast is probably the least dog friendly part of the country. Anyways, this hotel was awesome !

Very clean, recently refurbished; GREAT value, especially with ample free buffet breakfast. I’d actually made an error online when I’d originally booked, and although the tel. rep. at Choice Hotels’ toll-free no. refused to change my booking date, I simply called Port Inn directly and Bella(at Front Desk) could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Excellent location to visit the area and at a very reasonable price! Highly recommended.

PROS — Upon checking in, we asked for a second level room and was not only immediately accommodated but we got upgraded to a king room with a kitchenette. — At checkin was the manager of the hotel, Mark. Nice guy and he wanted to make sure our stay was a good one. In fact, the staff we met that day we’re all extremely nice. — The room was great! Never saw a kitchenette and if all hotels have rooms with kitchenettes like this, I’d book those too. Nice kitchen, bathroom and room. And the best part? It was impeccably clean. Everything. — The TV was nice. Although it has a book that has TV channels int it, there were no TV channels in it. But who watches TV on vacation anyway? — I love a good clean bathroom and this has it! I especially enjoyed that they had a towel specifically for make up. Those little details don’t go unnoticed even if, you know, I don’t wear make up. — The continental breakfast is what you’d expect. I had my standard by waffle which was pretty damn good. It started at 7am and we were there at 6:59am…no line. –The location of this inn is perfect. We were close to the family we were visiting and all of the restaurants were in 10 minute driving distance. We especially loved the Old Vine Wine Bar and will visit that again! CONS — I actually have none besides don’t think of an «inn» as something low budget and unclean because this place is not that. It’s 10x better. This place was better than most big hotels we stay in(and we’ve been to quite a few hotels). We are supposed to come back in July and we will definitely want to stay here. We’ve been told that the prices in the summer are a little steep. I loved my 2 night stay being $ 230. I’d say it was worth it. Not sure if I’d pay $ 400 for 2 nights in the summer but if the price range is right, they can have my money! Can’t put a price on great hospitality and a great CLEAN room!

The room here is fresh, clean, and modern. I have an amputated leg and need a handicap room when my leg is off at night and to shower. There is ample room in the bedroom and bathroom. While there is not a roll in shower, the hotel provides a transfer bench shower seat, grab bars in the shower, and a removable shower head. The staff were also very friendly. I definitely will stay here again if I’m back in the area!

One of the nicest hotels that we stayed at on our trip to New England. This was our last stop on our recent trip to New England and loved it The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was large with great amenities. ’ The breakfast was good — a very nice continental breakfast ~fresh fruit, juices, toast, waffles, eggs etc.

Stayed for the night this past weekend and overall we were very happy with the hotel for the price we paid. We had our dog with us and they only charged $ 35 extra per night which is much cheaper than other pet friendly hotels in the area. Our room was nice for a «pet room»… It smelled a little stale but not enough to ask to be moved. Unfortunately when you travel with pets you get stuck in the less desirable rooms even if your dog isn’t destructive or messy. One of the beds had damp sheets, but we had two doubles so we just slept on the one closer to the door. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

This place was pretty nice. All updated in the rooms. Bed are very comfortable. And the breakfast is just enough. Is pretty close to the Kennebunk shopping outlets and food.

One of the nicest hotels for the price. We stayed here on a recent trip to Maine to see the coast and eat some great seafood. The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was large with great amenities. I appreciate that the hotel tries to be ‘green.’ The breakfast was good — the normal type of motel breakfast — with fresh fruit, juices, toast and some hot selections. We found great coffee in Kennebunkport at a locally owned coffee bar.

Loved it! Wish it was right in the little town of Kennebunk, but it’s only a few minutes from there. Rooms were really good sized, bathroom was nice too. We also had a mini fridge, which was helpful! The outdoor pool was a big hit, very friendly and helpful staff, and a free complimentary breakfast! A very reasonably priced hotel that we would return to again, if we were in the area.

Nice room. A A A discount I got a very nice room that was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The free breakfast was very decent. I’d come again.
