The restaurant /poolside bar /snack bar of the lodge on the cove, seemingly only open at weekends and closes at 8pm(see my hotel review about it being a child friendly kinda place) However, the food was good, solid fare, ate here twice and had no complaints whatsoever — in fact the lobster roll was the nicest one I had on my short visit to Maine. If you can filter out the excited children noise from the pool then it’s well worth eating here, staff were incredibly friendly and efficient too.

Visited the Dory while staying at the Lodge on the Cove for Memorial Day weekend. We had dinner, service was good. The hot wings were great, only thing the blue cheese was on the watery side. Then had the lobster roll, so good and fresh, one of the better rolls I have had. Had the sparky drink also, but was not a huge fan, was very Limey.

We just had lunch here and I was surprised at how good it was! Friendly service, great drinks and delicious food! I had the lobster sliders(3 mini lobster rolls w crisp bacon on top) with fresh cut fries and they were spot on, my husband enjoyed his halibut sandwich and he raved about the green apple coleslaw and our 4 year old was easily won over with a huge vanilla milkshake!(They offered a gourmet selection of milkshake options, including adult varieties, but he went traditional.) Their gin gimlets were top notch and they offered a laid back environment with ample outdoor setting overlooking a secluded cove. Certainly worth checking out if you’re in the area!

We had lunch Sunday at Davids. Then needed to watch the Pats game. We were staying upstairs at the Lodge. Got there and Jen B took care of us for the game. There were only a few people when we got there then lots of people started flooding in. Good place to watch a game and have some bar food. My GF and I even played some ping pong at half time. Good times. WE went back later for some wings and onion rings. Both were good.

Quiet, out of the way lunch spot with reasonable prices and excellent menu choices. Well worth the pleasant walk from town.

Great place and delicious food. The make ur burger ur way is a great choice. My fried chicken, fried egg, sweet onions burger was amazing. Service is some what slow but super friendly. There r games like ping pong… So it’s a great place to go with friends. U should seat by the pool overseeing the marsh. During the summer high season they have live local band playing on Saturdays from 5 – 9

Absolute hidden gem in Kennebunkport where the lucky ones who discover it can feast upon what is probably one of the best lobster rolls in Kennebunkport(even better with some of their spicy mayo on top) — and I’ve tried them all. Casual, clean, affordable. Friendly staff and most importantly — delicious food — all tucked away near the pool at the Lodge at the Cove in Kennebunkport, which itself is a great spot to stay — an oasis, really — when you’re visiting the area. Be sure to swing by for lunch when you’re in town. You won’t be disappointed.

A great little hidden lunch spot. The service was excellent and the food was very enjoyable. My veggie burger was falling apart, but I have come to expect that as a general rule for home-made patties. I really enjoyed my sweet potato tots, too. Come hungry, the portions are big. One thing I really liked was that you choose your side, it’s not just default fries or chips. It makes it slightly more expensive, but we’re still talking $ 10 ish, so not out of the norm for the area. Well done, Dory. 4.5 stars, if I could.
