I LOVECOPELANDSAND I DOMEANLOVETHEM, I love everything the chain stands for, I love the background story, I love the food, the ONLY reason I am giving a poor review is because the bartender Kylie told my mother who fought for our country that«I have been working here six years and we don’t do military discounts» hmm being that I worked for a COPELANDS establishment and frequent other CNOs and they do it, I don’t think the Kenner location would be the only one that doesn’t. As many people in the metro area; vets, police, fireman visit CNO I’m pretty sure she knows the have a military discount… She was rude about it, and after 15 mins finally brought the check over and walked off … With the discount might I add. It’s not the fact of the discount, it’s the fact that you can be so rude about something like that. Her attitude was horrible. Did the survey on the receipt … Asked for the manager to contact me… Nothing yet, I won’t hold my breath!

First of all after waiting a considerable amount of time when my appetizer(Onion Petals) arrived it was cold so I sent it back. They brought me another one said I was«lucky» there was a fresh was ready. Then when I received my main course(Copeland’s Parmesans Chicken and Eggplant) it was cold, so I sent it back. The managers remedy was to charge me twice for the main course, delete one and say he gave me a discount, really? bad customer service. I will never eat at Copeland’s again!!!

The service was excellent at the bar, just wish the food was as good as the service. Stopped in early Sunday afternoon and the place was steady but the bar was empty. Due to my late night on Bourbon St I decided to start with a Bloody Mary. It was above average but pricey at $ 10. I started with onion petals as an appetizer which was actually really good. I ordered Jumbalaya for my main dish which came out with my appetizer which was a little disappointing. They offered to keep it warm which was a nice gesture. When they brought back out the Jumbalaya it was bland to say the least. The chicken, shrimp and sausage were hard to find in the overabundance of bow tie pasta and when you did find the pieces, they were less then inspiring on the pallete.

I can’t really give a review of a «full on» dinner experience here, but we did stop in on the tail end of happy hour and sat at the bar and ate. The bartender was friendly and took our order and brought our food out fairly quickly. I had the Caesar salad with chicken, which was nothing overly spectacular, but it hit the spot at the time. I think their happy hour starts at some insane time like noon and goes until 7, so if you are looking for an early drink, this might be a good place to start.

Dear Copelands, The next time someone orders take, why don’t you give them a proper amount of sauce for their Chicken Parmesan instead of letting them drive all the way home to find noodles and chicken with parmesan! After spending $ 50 at your restaurant tonight I am pissed. I also ordered a spinach and artichoke dip that had about 80 pieces of fried bow tie pasta and 2 tablespoons of dip. My Caesar salad was basically the extra pieces no one eats anyway and was not good at all. Now I’m out $ 50 for a meal that completely sucked. Thank you!

I order takeout. I ordered the jazzy wings with the intention to bring them to work for lunch rhe next day. When I started to eat them, I noriced some pick around the ends of the bones so I started to pick the meat off the bone. The wings were bloody. I contacted the manager; Gary, and he explained to me that I had to either bring the bloody meat in or take a picture to be compensated. Then he hung up on me! I intend to not order out or dine in this location again. Poor customer service. I wish I would have thought of taking a picture of the bloody wings but it was too disgusting to think of doing much but throwing them away. Gary explained to me that the resturant has been comping alot of foods, so I would have to bring the bloody wings in.

Terrible service. Quickly seated, however, drinks took over 20 mins to arrive & when they did, the dirty martini had no olives, which took 15 additional mins to get. Each order placed, seemed to completely throw the waiter off & took him longer to return each time, so we were so hesitant to correct or ask for anything additional. Food was cold when it came out, 35 minutes after orders being placed. The waiter was totally unexperienced, but the staff surrounding us were also real unprofessional. Staff members congregating around the entrance near our table, one appearing to be manager, never acknowledged any customers. Sad, this used to be a place to take family visiting from out of town. But that’s okay, there’s plenty other places that would be well worth your money! Don’t waste yours, or your time here.

I’ve had the pleasure of eating at several Copeland’s restaurants including Atlanta Ga, Jackson MS, and Slidell. However, the Kenner LA, location is our favorite. I’m never disappointed. I always order the shrimp and tasso pasta. It’s so good. And don’t forget the Jazzy wings…

The atmosphere is good but the service is terrible. We waited for our food for 25 min and finally came out to tell us they were out of something we ordered. Not the first time I have been to Copelands where they have been out of something we have ordered. Need to get their act together. Your a restaurant how can you be out of items on your menu and not know!

It’s always been a favorite place of ours. It has a few bumps now and then, but it’s always a enjoyable visit for us. they recently remodeled and the new look inside is a hit for me. It’s a lot more brighter and cheerful versus the dim and gloom of old. They left the table shades, which should of been the first to go.

I would give this restaurant 5 stars, but I have to be completely blown away for that. I was by myself tonight, so I ate at the bar — fortunate for me because I had one of the top 5 Martinis I’ve ever had here(Tito’s Vodka, of course). I had Blackened Salmon with side of creamed spinach and it was delightful. Would have ordered one of the deserts, but I was stuffed. My only complaint was that they served me another Martini without me ordering it… I was really upset… pfyeah… Kidding, it was great. Ask for David at the bar — good guy. Nice to meet people at the bar. Met a fellow named Steven who makes prosthetics for vets — very interesting. Anyway, you will not go wrong eating here.

One of my favorite spots at the airport before I get on the plane — the food is consistently good, there is usually a line so If you are looking for something quick you might want to just grab a salad. I really like that you get enough food too! They don’t skimp on what you get. My Favorite is the shrimp po-boy — the bread it comes on it WONDERUL!!! Tasty!

Copelands is one of my guilty pleasures, mostly for the happy hour. They do happy hour on weekdays, 5 – 7 then 9-close. 5 dollar martinis and select apps… it can’t get any better. Their martinis are strong and refreshing, while their apps are rich and decadent. My all-time faves are the spinach dip and the Woo Woo martinis. My servers at this location have always been attentive and helpful, which differs from other locations around town. They recently redid/expanded the bar and it is very nice and cozy. This is my go-to spot when we don’t want to go downtown/uptown but still want a nice drink and nice atmosphere..

I had the Tuna Salad from their new seafood menu. Very disappointed. The asparagus was bad & the salad was mostly willted & sone brown to black. Won’t be going back anytime. At least the spinach bowtie paata was good.

You know those conversations you have on the way to the airport about finding a place to eat before you get there? Well, this is how we found Copeland’s. I used my Unilocal app and it had great reviews, so we drove over to the mall and found them packed. We waited about fifteen minutes to be seated, not bad considering the crowds. Our waiter stayed on top of it the entire time, he was patient while we took a little longer than necessary looking over the menu. I ordered the cajun chicken, worried it would be dry, I still braved it. It wasn’t even remotely dry. It had the right amount of Cajun seasoning to make me happy. I usually won’t pick fries, but I did today and had enough seasoning from the chicken on the plate to drag them through it, that was a good call. My husband got the chicken parm, which he said was good. We also, started with wings, and they had a good seasoning to them, as well. Dessert here is huge, when we sat down everyone had boxes, I realized that it was probably the dessert. My husband finished out with the Mardi Gras cake they had, which was cake layered with cheesecake. He loved it. I had a piece of chocolate cake and wasn’t able to eat even half of it. We were trying not to eat in many chain restaurants while in New Orleans, but sometimes you can’t help it. I wasn’t disappointed with eating here and would go back again.
