Excellent nursery for unusual plants. This nursery sells to retail trade at reasonable prices. Owner, Steve, is really friendly and eager to share information about his plants, and he knows about each and every one of his many plants. Plant selection is very great and includes a large selection of unusual or rare plants, especially succulents. This nursery is a real jewel, and it is fun just to walk around and explore all the plants. Really great nursery and a very positive gardener’s experience!

This is far and away the best place to buy plants in NOLA, and the best greenhouse I’ve ever been to. They are wholesalers and kind of my personal shangri-​la. Harry’s on Press St. recommended them to me, and even they buy from Sunrise. They have two massive greenhouses and all kinds of stuff on the grounds surrounding. Prices are incredible and selection is the bomb. I positively filled my house with amazing succulents etc for less than $ 50, and the owner is a really nice guy. Only setback is that they close at 3:30. Stop by when you’re near the airport, it’s right on the river.
