I intend to avoid this walgreens whenever possible. Went last night and was again subject to rude behavior and snippy comments from staff. Also had another visit where cashier called my friend«cheap» because an item rang up $ 5 more than what we saw displayed and we decided not to keep it. Really can’t think of anything positive to note except it’s convenient location.

My father-in-law lives right across the corner from this joint and he is an avid smoker. He says discount zone across the street has jacked up prices(idk y Muslims do this?) so he frequents Walgreens for cigarettes. It’s Friday night and we head in to buy him cigarettes and also some taaka flavored vodka for a party we were headed to. The side display of vodka had a huge sign advertising marshmallow vodka but was no where to be found on the shelf. The price for the cherry taaka we decided upon was marked in large, bright letters for $ 6.99. We actually had purchased the same vodka last week & at the register it rang up «7.99» & the middle aged non-English fluent cashier seemed flustered. So here we are again with the same vodka a week later. We get to the line. Of corse only 1 register is open. The line was equivalent to those at Disney world on a hot summer day. At least 8 people were in line tapping their feet, scratching their heads & rolling their eyes. Something happened here. They used to hire younger employees that were fast & computer savvy but they must of gotten a bad rep & the manager now only hires middle aged women who are technology deficient. You talk about the slowest cashiers ever!!! I mean I was a cashier at a grocery store in high school & the pace they were going is just unacceptable! When we finally got up there guess what? The vodka rang up $ 7.99 A WEEKLATER! No inventory control or prices have been adjusted. The cashier couldn’t speak English very well so got extremely annoyed & just mysteriously subtracted $ 1 from the total without informing the manager. I asked my father-in-law how he can stand doing this almost every day and he said that the middle aged women that work there are always angry, can’t count change & slow as molasses. Someone please hire a new manager & staff for this place! Where is the district manager? They got to be wondering why sales are dropping at this location LOL

This Walgreens is fairly new and similar to every other Walgreens around the area. It is located on the Northeast corner of Williams Boulevard and Vintage Drive. It’s not a 27⁄7 location and closes at 10pm every night. The pharmacy also closes at 6pm on weekends which is rather lame in my opinion. Fortunately, there’s a 24⁄7 location less than five minutes away off of West Esplanade Avenue if you need to fill something later in the night. There IS however a redbox at this location also. Those things are popping up everywhere. So Long blockbuster.
