We didn’t not enjoy the food at Copeland’s. Since overly salty is not our thing, we probably won’t go back. Spice is one thing, but salty is just hiding something, in my opinion. The service staff was actually extremely pleasant.

Pretty good for a Thursday dinner. The hubby and I opted for appetizers. We went with the crawfish bread which was yummy and the tasty buffalo spring rolls. The buffalo spring rolls are basically chicken and cheese rolled up in a egg roll wrapper with buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing dipping sauce. Last but not least for dessert we had the mardi gras cheesecake king cake. Great service and decent food…

I don’t even know where to begin. Before I start I must say Mike our server was awesome! He knows the menu and recommended meals that did not disappoint! Because my friend and I were going to have dessert we skipped out on an appetizer. We both started with the mango lemonades, which were ok but nothing too special. I got the blackened salmon with creamed spinach and red bean and rice(one of Mikes recommendations). Not only was the salmon delicious it was a nice size! The red bean and rice was soo good and I would say my 8 month old agreed because she was enjoying the little pieces I was giving her. The creamed spinach was creamy and satisfying. My dear friend got the stuffed crab shrimp Alfredo, which she enjoyed as well. She gave me a piece of her stuffed shrimp and it was very tasty. The finale was the creole style cheesecake with caramel pecan toppings. I actually got this to go, but Mike was not lying when he said this cheesecake was one of the best! I cannot wait to come back here to try the brunch. I drive by this restaurant all the time and was disappointed that I didn’t try it earlier.

I can’t express how excited I was to go to this place. New Orleans style cuisine and seafood are some of my favorite things. It did not live up to the expectations. The food was bland. There were four of us and three out of four of us agreed. To be fair, the three of us had pasta based dishes. So maybe they just don’t do those well. The service was good despite the not so great tasting food.

Sunday buffet that was amazing. They served some great prime rib, and the bananas foster sauce for the waffles was amazing. The random sides were fun to try. The different preparations of chicken was great. The only issue I had was the price. I was looking for the price for Saturday on the banners outside as well as the website, with no clear price point for Sunday. Once I was sitting and saw that Sunday was like $ 25? It’s to late to leave. I would possibly treat myself to a brunch at that cost, but I could never bring my family.

I had lunch(to go) there yesterday and it was really good! I got the crab cake and shrimp Alfredo and it had lots of flavor! I am really looking forward to dinning in soon! The cost was a little high for lunch, but it was totally worth it!

My mother bought a Copeland’s fried turkey for Thanksgiving this year. Apparently $ 70 doesn’t get much of a turkey. Looked to be about a 12 lb bird. There was nothing special about it either — the white meat was dry and the dark meat was greasy.

Susanne, our waitress was great! But service aside, it’s unlikely we’ll be back. Menu descriptions are scrumptious, the actual execution of said dishes, not so much: – our table had two orders of the shrimp and lump crabmeat remoulade salad. Small nothing-with-nothing shrimp, a few measly flakes of crabmeat. –special seasonal gumbo — okay, but lukewarm, even when it came back after supposedly being re-heated.(Susanne of course offered to send the bowl back a second time, but who wants over-nuked gumbo??) – ricochet catfish. This dish used to be delicious. «Lightly fried with pecans.» Nope. Heavily fried. No pecans. Shoestring something-or-other that wasn’t supposed to be there. Wait! I bet they brought the wrong catfish. «This is ricochet catfish?» I asked. Yesssss. I like that Copeland’s has wine @ $ 23/bottle. I like that the booths can accommodate a large party. The meal itself … well, judge for yourself.

Another weekend, another trip to the breakfast Buffett. :) The Buffett is better on Sunday compared to Saturday. Hoping the get enough Saturday business to bring Saturday up to speed. Well, technically I say am eating the breakfast Buffett. But I find myself partaking in the shrimp étouffée, jambalaya, cat fish and all other things technically not breakfast. Eh, but it’s awesome!

Ordered Togo food last night. Shrimp etouffe and the bananas foster cheesecake. First off the etouffe sauce was ok but they used the smallest shrimp you could find. They were rubbery and tasteless. The cheesecake alone was delicious but once I poured the sauce on it I ruined it. The fosters w a s oily and bananas were too mushy. Prices were decent but not worth it. Maybe only for the cheesecake

This is my first time here. I decided to give it a try while staying on business. I sat at the bar and started off with the Maryland crab cakes that were half price during happy hour and they were really good. I ordered a ribeye for my maine course and it was pretty good too. The only complaint I have(and the reason for my 3 star rating) was with the service. There was 5 people total at the bar(including me) and it took me forever to get my drink. The bartender spent more time waiting on a blond girl sitting at the end if the bar(who I believe was a regular) and not providing service to others. I will come back and give it and other shot but wasn’t impressed with my first visit.

For someone who has food allergies they were knowledgable and careful to make sure my food was just right. Amazing service!

Today, Copeland’s pulled out all the stops both in food quality and service to debut its new Saturday brunch buffet, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. From perfectly cooked turkey sausage to crispy catfish filets to bbq chicken and brioche french toast, all the delicious dishes were plentiful, hot, and fresh-tasting. Bravo to management and staff!

So I’m giving a three because this was our first visit to Coplands as a family. We so wanted a stellar brunch experience. The kid’s pricing does not quite reflect what a child would consume. We entered the facility and were shown to our table. No big time«whoo» from the service, but we were seated quickly. The offerings were just as expected from the menu, although a bit cold. For the price I would expect a LOT better of quality. Due to the point that we had gotten there before we could enjoy a mimosa, I would highly recommend coming after 12 so that you can enjoy that part of the brunch experience. All in all people I would not say an absolute no to brunch here earlier than 12, I would say come later, enjoy the jazz and see for yourself. I look forward to see what you have to say…

I would love to write a great review on this location but I can’t. I had a wonderful experience at the location off of Cobb parkway in Vinings. They were an absolute delight! This location was a complete let down. The front of the house staff was so rude. We had a large party for my friend. I had called ahead to make sure they knew about us. The young man I spoke to on the phone was so kind and understanding. When I arrived a little earlier before our reservation with 2 of my friends to set up décor for our party they were very short with us and told us over and over again rudely that we could not sit or be served until every person was in the building. Once we were seated the service was very slow. It took around 3 hours to serve 7 of us. It was my best friends birthday and I asked if they could at least bring a dessert or say Happy Birthday but they didn’t. They seemed rushed and wanted to get rid of us. I honestly won’t go back to this location. The service stinks here they are so rude.

The food was ok. Drinks were nice. I ordered from the new seafood menu and loved the shrimp pasta dish! Our appetizers were bland though. Our waitress was horrible! We waited 15 min for our first round of drinks. I requested a wine to go with my dinner and she didn’t bring it until halfway through. We finished dinner and waited 25 min for dessert!!! We ended up just ordering it to go so we could get out of there. Oh, and I had a question about an appetizer, what type of cheese was in the«special cheese sauce», she grabbed the menu from my hands after giving me a look of «what on earth are you talking about?». She did the same thing when I asked for no mushrooms with my main dish. She said mushrooms didn’t come with it, grabbed the menu from my hands, and wouldn’t you know — mushrooms in the dish! For $ 130 bill for two people I’d expect better service.

For this suburbia, Copeland’s is a welcome step up from most of the areas fast food chains & kid friendly restaurants. The well & dimly lit dining area is romantic. Bar area offers booth seating & is great also, but has more of a lunch feel because of the tv’s. Service has always been good. I’ve eaten here at least a dozen times. ****To Try: Appetizer — Tiger Shrimp Entrée– Filet mignon, medium rare baked sweet potato, veggie, house salad. Dessert — Neopolitan cheesecake soaked with a shot of dark rum to go! Mmmmm! Plenty to take home for a midnight snack– just prolonging the experience & keeping you satisfied while Unilocaling about their awesomeness! Bön Appétit!

Really surprised how good the food was. Walked in not expecting much but walked out really happy and full. Seafood is what they do best so I went with the salmon that the server suggested. Got the loaded Mac & Cheese and loaded baked potato as my sides with a Sweet Water 420 all for $ 25. Not too bad, but do wish they gave some bread and butter while waiting for your entrée. It seems like the type of place that would do that. The service was great, 4 stars for the food and 4.5 stars overall.
