An older woman (possibly the owner) was there today when me and a friend went in with our children. She was visibly bothered when we came in. No greeting at all. Was extremely rude when my friend’s little boy accidentally broke something. My friend was more than happy to pay for it as the owner demanded but the owner was still so rude. Would never go there again.

The painting was fun, but the owner left a bad taste in my mouth. She reprimanded a customer that misread the living social deal in front of the other guests and her two young children! And it was on the verge of a yelling match. The owner then asked us that were painting to get involved and agree with her that she was right. WHILE THE WOMANS CHILDREN WERE THERE! Even though the customer was wrong, I found the owners actions to be extremely inappropriate. The woman ended up paying what she owed and left bawling with her little children and said that she’s never been treated like that in her life. And I have to agree that I’ve never seen the owner of any store treat anyone like that before!
After that ordeal the owner then grumbled about how she would NEVER do a Living Social deal again because it’s been nothing be problems (which made us feel NOT awesome because we had the living social deal too).
I have honestly never seen anything like it in my life and it made for an awkward rest of the morning. I will NEVER visit there again. This was a gift for a friend gone way bad!
I do have to be honest and say I think the owner was overwhelmed as she was alone in the shop on a Saturday and this happened in between 2 large parties. Had this not happened, I would have given it at least 3 stars.

I was visiting from out of town, so before I began I asked for assurance that my piece would be fired before I left to go back to LA. The girl working said it would be ready by Saturday. When I went to pick it up on Saturday, the girl told me they hadn’t even begun to fire it. Now i have to leave town without the pieces i paid for and spent time working on. Bad service, I will NOT be back!
