Great Black & Bleau Salad… Gorgonzola dressing to die for… ask for bacon bits added… $ 1.50. Ouch.

Just in town for school. Close to the hotels. Great food, great staff, great place to eat dinner. Will definitely go back next time I’m in town.

Worst service ever tonight!!! About 20 mins after ordering waitress(Sydney) brings food to table next to us(who were seated after us) and has an «oh s***» look on her face when she looks at out table. She goes to the computer then heads to the back. We figured she was checking on our order. 15mins later when more people around us got their food, we asked where our food was. She said oh, we are busy tonight. When I said other people seated after us are almost done eating… how can that be. she said let me check. 5 mins later she comes back with ANOTHER tables food. When I start to get up she says oh just another few minutes. I asked her very nicely did you forget to put our order in? She says oh no… She was obviously lying. We left. Sad thing is if she just admitted her mistake we would have been understanding. Things happen. And she still would have gotten a tip. Instead she lost out on a tip and the Restaurant lost us as a customer. Besides the fact I will make sure I tell everyone I know.

Went there the other night for the first time with my husband for dinner. I liked the ambience but I was confused by how loud it was, it didn’t seem to fit with the restaurant. We had the asparagus fries for an appetizer which was really good. I had the Grilled Chicken Stack which was beautifully plated and tasty but it was a little on the skimpy side. It needed more vegetables. The hubs had the prime rib sandwich and fries. He loves sandwiches and was very pleased. We’ll probably go back, but I think next time I would get a sandwich.

Great food and atmosphere. Draught beers are minimal but the place is classy and worth going to. A good place to take a date or have beers with the bartenders. Super nice and would suggest.

I don’t really understand the whole sports bar concept or «live acoustic» singing acts which totally ruin the experience. BUT… If you can get past that, this place is like the Houston’s Restaurant of Kennesaw. The food is great! Service has always been good too. Try the burger or the buffalo chicken wrap. The seafood nachos with crab and cheese will change your life its so damn good! Cool place with good food and drinks and atmosphere… Just 86 the shitty singers and sports bar theme and you’ve got a hit!

From out of town came here on a whim and glad I did! Place was jamming at 8:30 on a Tuesday night, upper class bar feel accompanied by gourmet upper scale non tradition bar type food. Salads are delicious and service couldn’t be better! Definitely a hot spot to come to again with friends or date night. Food is super good too, not just a cool atmosphere!

Manager started off as the server(was not aware of this at the time). Asked if we had been there before. Neither of us had. She then suggested an appetizer(chips with sauce, bacon, chives) and brought it back at no charge(it was really good). The entrées were a Buffalo Chicken wrap & a Chicken Panini. The taste was spot on for both. We ordered desert. One was a pear type of desert and the other was a chocolate cake. They were packaged deconstructed as they both were to go. Both were really good at home but bet it would of tasted even better had we ate them there. The server was very attentive and her timing was perfect. We will be returning soon.

The chef doesn’t know what rare is. Rare does not mean uncooked, it still has to be cooked at least a little. My burger came out still refrigerator cold and the waitress acted like this was normal. All three people in our group got food poisoning even though we ordered different dishes. Avoid this place at all costs.

Marlow’s is your upscale sports bar, live music sometimes outside and generally it’s not so loud that it’s annoying. Food is great, way better than your typical bar food, the french dip with au jus is amazing. The crab cakes for appetizers were great, not the best I’ve ever had, but for an appetizer they were perfect. The crème brûlée is fantastic for dessert if you’re a vanilla person like me, I could eat the entire skillet myself. Atmosphere is clean and a little dark as they go more toward the old country western look with an upscale twist. Staff are pleasant, and generally tell you the specials which change weekly when you are seated. Can be quite loud when the restaurant is full, but that’s expected anywhere.

One of the top experiences I had while in Atlanta for work was the amazing dinner experience here at Marlows. The place was classy quaint with just the right touch of design. Parking and cleanliness were great, and the prices are reasonable. The service was awesome(our waiter and the two managers were like old friends). I had a bowl of lobster bisque that was perfect and the shrimp and grits as my main dish. Hands down, one of the best meals I’ve had all year. Hats off Marlows… I’ll be back if I’m ever in Atlanta again.

I really like Marlow’s. I usually love the whole menu. The asparagus fries are my favorite item. Give them a try! The citrus aioli sauce is so light. The last time I ordered a burger it wasn’t cooked to the requested done-ness so I ended up not eating it the entire inside was just toooo pink for me. I like to order takeout from here because the ambience is SOLOUD. Their drinks are great though if you want to meet up for drinks, a snack, and some casual chat. be prepared to yell or get close lol

Gastropub should be removed from the label describing this thoroughly average strip mall hamburger joint. How it came up when I searched for wine bars is also unclear as they serve crap for the masses with very little variety or interest other than high margins for themselves. Maybe this is as good as it gets in this area of the country? At least the staff is friendly but seem too busy to actually engage. If it wasn’t a close walk from my hotel I would totally by pass it.

Good ambience, went on Friday, live music on the terrace, from a young man man playing 80s music with his guitar, not bad. Restaurant clean and a little dark for my taste but manageable, Staff was friendly and talkative when asked for details on the menu. Good local and imported beer selection, and food was generally very good, we ordered: — Hummus: 5* — Brie fondue: 4* — Center cut filet 4* — Salmon 4* All in all a very nice dinner expedience, can repeat any time.

Sarah F. is one of the greatest servers I’ve ever had! She made great food and beer recommendations. She provided attentive service without ever intruding needlessly. We had a wonderful time and will certainly be back! Thanks Sarah!

This was my first time at Marlows. It was a great experience. The only slight negative was today was only 70 degrees out and the AC was on too high inside. I saw the manager adjust the thermostat and it stopped blowing cold air for most of the time we were there. yay! I got the shrimp and grits and it was presented beautifully much like the photo on their website. Our server was Britt and she was friendly, accommodating, knowledgable about the menu, informative and on point with everything! I had been in New Orleans and had the best shrimp and grits there. These were a close 2nd! Also had a delicious bread pudding for dessert which was hard to refuse after it was described to us. If you appreciate high end tasting food, you gotta try Marlows. I don’t know if ALL their food is this great, but sure happy with what I got!

Four years after our first visit, we decided to give this chain location another chance. Big mistake. I ordered the«Turkey Club» which allegedly was prepared with organic turkey, avocado, provolone cheese, tomatoes and arugula, First, the avocado and provolone were completely absent, unless the oil slick on the bread was somehow representative of them. Second the turkey had obviously been sliced several days earlier. It had that dried, curly edge that only left-over cold cuts develop. To disuse this fact, the slices were drowned in salt water to remoisten them. And, yes, i know the difference between brined meat and water-laden cold cuts. Next, we should address the service. It was non-existent. As an example, when we ordered, my wife asked for extra lemon for her iced tea.(Her THREEDOLLAR iced tea!). When the tea arrived, no lemon. We reminded the server, who responded«Sure sweetie. Anything you want.» Despite her saccharine, condescending assurance. No lemon appeared. Finally, when the runner brought the entrees, we asked him for some lemon. After a short delay, we finally got the lemon. Now the hunt began for the server, so we could get the check … As with our last visit, they didn’t screw up my wife’s hamburger, but it nothing remarkable either. BTW, we’ve been to other Marlow’s locations and they were quite decent.

I came here for drinks with a couple of coworkers while in Kennesaw on business. The atmosphere is nice — dark and polished looking, with comfortable booths, a full bar, and a seemingly lovely patio area(we didn’t venture outside because good lord the humidity). The service was okay but the bar seemed to be a bit clueless — one of my friends ordered scotch on the rocks and it came with three limes(?!). My gin & tonics came appropriately strong, chilled, and lime-adorned, so I can’t really complain there. I ordered the kettle chips with bacon, Gorgonzola, and other deliciousness on them, and they were all right, but the prices are a bit steep… $ 8 for a small bowl of essentially well dressed potato chips? I didn’t order a full meal here, but so many of the menu options sounded delicious! I found everything about Marlow’s to be A-OK and definitely would return to experience more of the menu if I was in the area.

Group Outing w/Co Workers My Co workers selected Marlows Tavern for our group outing this year, and what a great choice it was. The staff was truly efficient at accommodating a party of 20, we had people of all ages, and also arriving at different times(chaotic). Kudos to Nina for holding it all together, you totally rock!!! We were seated in the patio area, which at first I thought would be too hot since it was the middle of the day, but they have this great system that showers out a cool mist every 5 minutes or so(pretty cool). It was actually very pleasant. We ordered almost evey appetizer offered, which all came out in a timely manner, my absolute favorite was the smoked trout dip. It was delish!!! I almost did not want to share it, but I did –lol. The hot and sweet wings were really good as well. I also had the opportunity to try the asparagus fries, which were surprisingly yummy and not to mention a great way to incorporate vegetables into your diet-lol. As far as the entrees… Almost 50% of my party ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, and I heard no complaints. I ordered the grilled lamb wrap w/fried okra which was a bad choice. The Wrap was not meaty enough and the fried okra were whole and seem to have come fresh from the farm to the skillet(I was expecting chopped, battered & fried Church’s style-smh) after trying the okra I request to have them removed and replace with Caesar salad. We also ordered a side item off white cheddar grits cake after trying the shrimp and grits(Damn Good!!!), the prime steak was also very popular amongst my group. To drink, I ordered the blueberry lemonade, which is a non alcoholic beverage(didn’t want to catch a buzz and start acting weird –lol). My friend ordered a Grapefruit Ricky that looked refreshing… She said it was really good. All & all… the outing turned out perfect!!! Perfect location, Perfect Service, Great Group of people(I said this just in case my co-workers are reading-joking) lol OHMY… and let me not forget the complimentary Kettle chips & asparagus fries that was brought out by a member of the management team!!!
