Starbucks

I go to this Starbucks frequently. It’s hit or miss. I feel that ALL the Starbucks I go to lately seem to not fill the venti mochas all the way up so I feel like I’m getting a grande. Last time I asked for a passion tango tea lite ice the cup was filled with ice… which means less drink. For the price I want more drink. I think most of the people that work here are friendly. I did have a bad experience once when I drove home before tasting my mocha and realized they gave me hot white chocolate, not a white chocolate mocha. I live nearby so I drove back and explained what happened. Manager looking guy did not give me a credit or coupon or anything. No apology either.

Never coming to this location EVER. My family came in today and yes I know it’s thanksgiving, but you guys were open so… Where should I even start with this horrible experience? First, an employee rolled her eyes when she saw us walk up. Second, they served my father cold coffee. Then one of the drink orders was messed up and I was told I had the wrong drink order. I can’t with this location.

Actually the slowest Starbucks in the USA (I travel all over for work)…I went to a slower one in London once… this is actually insane — I walked in it took 11 minutes to order after 8 minutes second guy started to ring people up… just waiter another 7 minutes for beverage. This was at 1pm on a Sunday… would hate to see this place at 8am on a Monday. There were also 5 maybe 6 people working… I’ve never seen anything like this place…

This is the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to… (drive thru and inside) They have messed up my (simple) order on many occasions.

Nice location. The staff is usually friendly, and the atmosphere inside is great for studying or getting some work done, or just meeting with a friend.
Being right down the street from KSU, however, means that this location is often very busy. This can make it difficult to find a place to sit, and parking turns into a nightmare. They could definitely use some more space.

This location is very busy yet they seem to always remember my order, by remembering my face! Great customer service. I get tea and they offer me the extra bag to take home! Love it

I’m actively avoiding this location until something changes. All the decent staff are gone. I miss them! If they ask me if I want cream or sugar when I order black coffee one more time, I’m going to school them in what it means when someone orders black coffee. They also hear «mocha» when I order a latte. I am not one of those people that needs or wants flavors, syrups, or whipped topping in my drink.
Additionally, I believe their manager, Jeff, is just hiring people to have the position filled. I highly doubt he considers factors like friendly personalities or knowledge of coffee and espresso. I don’t even think these new people drink coffee.
The line is ridiculous in the store and the drive thru line can take 20 minutes or more. Think you are lucky if you walk in and no one is at the counter? Think again. I’ve ordered my dark roast walked over to the condiment bar to add a little cream. The half and half has been filled with skim milk more than once. I’ve also walked in thinking «cool, no wait!» and they proceeded to forget my drink. As for me, I’m buying a French press and not looking back. I’ve got a coffee maker, and a espresso machine, and with that addition, I’ll make my own drink any time and flip them off in my mind as I sip in peace.

I am currently at Starbucks now and I am beyond perplexed as to why ths seems to be taking so long. Aside from the young lady who took my order who was beyond rude, an ineffective communicator and who managed to completely mess up my BabyGirl’s birthday Starbuck’s experience.
Ordered a soy Mocha Frappachino and a Chocolate Croissant and they managed to get it wrong. How exactly does one get a chocolate croissant wrong? How does that work?

God this place is awful sometimes. If you like a 15 minute wait for your cuvée this is the place for you

A lot of the familiar employee faces that I had grown to love are now gone which makes me a bit sad. Also, this location has gone to Teavana for their tea which means the prices are over inflated for the tea and needless to say, I will not be drinking it anymore. I am a gold card holder, so I don’t do the expensive stuff like frappes and macchiatos on a daily basis like some of the more naïve Starbucks customers. My new drink of choice for regular days is the «blonde.» Blonde over ice is good too but some of the baristas don’t understand the concept of that at this location which is sad. Blonde is what you drink if the Pike Place roast is too strong or bitter for you, and yes, it’s way too bitter for me. I like my coffee to taste very smooth. This is a small location with too many tables pushed together that get hogged by ménage-​a-​deux parties and single guests which is annoying. From my past review, a lot of things remain. Cherokee Street is still very dangerous to try to cross when exiting. Try to exit this location through Walgreens and utilize the traffic light. This location also has shared parking with T-​Mobile and sometimes Wendy’s, so there is usually not a lot of convenient parking. For electric car drivers, there is a convenient charging station at Walgreens so you can charge while you visit in this area.

This was, hands down, the best Starbucks OTP I’ve encountered. When Chris ran it. Since he left, it has continued to go downhill. Staff not as friendly, constantly turning over staff, speed of service abysmal — especially in drive thru — and orders just off from right. When the old guard had it — Chris, Craig, Doug, Lucia, Katie, etc — it rocked. Always. Still go here, but far more likely to bypass it and head to Chastain now. Especially when the drive thru line is wrapped all the way around and past the front of the building, which is far too often. Store needs some help.

Your typical Starbucks except in the staff that seemed even friendlier & more helpful than typical.
Also, very well staffed & fast service the mid-​Friday morning we visited even being fairly busy. Job well done again Starbucks, keep up the good work.

I asked for a cup of coffee of one of the limited blends and was told that «they don’t have it to make».
Meanwhile I’m surrounded by bags and bags of this particular coffee.
My local Starbucks does this for me without batting an eyelash.
Bad job tonight, Starbucks.

I’ve had some good experiences here, but last time I was there the person on the espresso bar was very rude to me and actually made sarcastic comments about me to another employee not realizing I was standing there.

I don’t know what Starbucks Mike was reviewing, but I cannot believe it was the Cherokee St. Location. I have been a customer since they opened and it is top ten in the entire country (hard to outdo a few California locations). I have never witnessed what Mike mentioned.
I invite Mike to ask if I (Roger) is there. Would like to honestly hear his examples — I don’t work for the company, but do know someone that would be interested in his comments.
This place is great service!

Starbucks has so many different ways of making coffee it is ridiculous. When I rush through the drive through I tend to let my ADD get the best of me. I know what I want, I have rehearsed what I am going to say but the second I pull up and see the color pictures of cake pops, sandwiches and even their version of a Rice Krispie treat, my brain turns to mush. «Uhh… I’ll have uhhhhh…» Oh no! Think, Liz, think! It involved caramel, I think… maybe extra whipped cream or was it skinny? When I finally get myself together to order the vente caramel salted thingy I am promptly given the correct name and I regain my composure. I always drive off with my caramel thingy, a sandwich I don’t remember ordering and a smile.
My first honest review of this place was received with hate mail, snide remarks and evil stares when I went in to get my daily caffeine fix. While I believe my first review was appropriate, I will say service and the quality of drinks has come leaps and bounds. There was even a day where 2 guys were working the drive through and the comments between the two of them regarding my caramel thingy were amusing.
This Starbucks is in a perfect location and right off the highway for those addicts that get the shakes from road rage.

One of the best Starbucks in existence! Consistency is important, and my coffee drinks always taste the same — perfect! I tried one of their artisan breakfast sandwiches the other day and it was fresh and hot, and delish! And to top it all off, they are always busy, but the drive through line always moves pretty quickly. This is my go-​to Starbucks, for sure.

Love this Starbucks location! They always get my order right, have exceptional customer service and its as though no employee knows what a bad day is. The drive thru goes very quick even when the line looks long. The only thing I miss is the garbage can on the way out of the drive-​thru. Ha! I had a routine of throwing out my old cup to make room for a fresh one. Bring back the garbage, pretty please.
I’ll still give 5 stars though, haha!

Hands down best Starbucks Ever! Top Notch Customer Service, Friendly and rarely makes a mistake… If they do they fix it no problem or eye rolls. They even remember my name! The staff is always so helpful and seem to really love their jobs. This is my «go to» Starbucks even if it’s not the most conveniently located because I know I won’t have to wait forever, they’ll make my drink just right and always in a good mood :-) Their drinks also taste better than other locations for some reason… Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!
