Bought my mountain bike here, and they do my bike repairs, and bought my bike rack. Great place, they know what they are doing, very friendly, and awesome prices!

I purchased a bicycle fit and some accessories for my Giant TCR Advanced. My father purchased purchased a Giant Defy 2 and received a free bike fit. The bike fit service was great. Lots of time was taken to ensure everything fit properly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s nice to know that the Tri-Cities has two choices when it comes to expert bicycle shops and Soctt’s is my choice. Pros: Awesome service and great products Cons: Selection on some items isn’t the best, but that comes with supporting a small local shop.

The guys were nice enough but the shop is cramped, the bike lines are inferior and the employee’s are not the knowledgable.

Supposedly, it’s spring up in here(although sometimes it seems winteresque, yes Mother Nature, she can be a total tease!). With that, I have been making the transition from cross-country skiing and winter sports to activities of the warmer environ. So, there I was brushing the dust off my lovely bike(picture Pee Wee Herman and his bike). Unfortunately, my bike was a bit hobbled. I noticed a thorn in a tire, and as I pulled it out, my outdoor plans fell flat as air blew out of the tire. So, off to a bike store I went. There are certainly places closer to my place, but I had heard good things of the little shops on the other side of the Tri-Cities, so off I went. I decided to simply two completely new inner tubes, a seat bag, and a tube patch kit. The guy who helped me out was certainly personable and sorta helpful(I guess the sizing for my tires was a little off, so he wasn’t completely sure of the size I needed — why can’t we all use standardized units?!?). At any rate, I was set… or so I thought. When I tried installing my tubes, I noticed I had the wrong stem. So it wouldn’t fit through the rim of my wheel(the guy at the store asked which kind of stems I wanted… I obviously chose poorly [like the knight in Indiana Jones in the Last Crusade]). So, I went back to the store, and went for an exchange. They ended up not having the same tubes. Instead they let me upgrade to a tube filled with«slime». Apparently a good thing for this area and our notorious goat-head thorns. They did this all for free. I became an instant fan. I should also say, this is the closest bike store to the trails( ) at State Patrol, too. So if you want a cool store and a good pit stop before hitting State Patrol. This THE place to go! Oh, and now they are open on Sundays during the summer — very convenient.

Scott’s is the best bicycle shop in the Tri-Cities. Good selection, excellent(and non-pushy) customer service and they take care of their customers long after the sale.

This is a first class bike shop all the way. Huge assortment of parts and accessories and a full service crew! Great prices, huge selection and a friendly(not overbearing) staff.

We were shopping for a bike for my girlfriend today and went into Scotts in kennewick to look for bikes. The guy who helped us was very attentive and very helpful. He walked us through a number of bikes to find the best fit and type of bike she was looking for. When she found a style she liked but he did not have in stock he promised delivery by the end of the week. It was a very good shopping experience. Although we did not buy a bike today we would recommend Scotts.

Scott’s is a family owned and operated bike shop. I have met both the Scott and jr. who are in the stores regularly. Scott’s has a pretty wide range of bikes, with good selections in different styles and types. They carry Giant, Specialized, Redline, and a few others. They are very helpful and willing to order anything you want. Pricing is very competitive and the service department is very fast. I got a new bike — unfortunately one they didn’t sell — and I had a small, but yet large, issue that I couldn’t fix myself. They totally squeezed me in and worked to fix the bike so I could ride it before I went on travel again. I really like the personal nature of the employees. Scott’s and Markee’s are the two best places for bicyclists in the Tri-Cities. Markee’s is a little more enthusiast oriented, but offers a similar combination of service, pricing, and selection. You can’t go wrong either way.
