I really like the espresso roast they use here. It took a bit to get a drink with the long line of customers, but the environment is great, I’ve chilled and read book for hours here before. And we used to have a church group meet here for 8 weeks. Great place to meet up and chat or do some work. It’s my new local hangout.

This is a new coffee shop that recently opened up around the corner from where I work. I’ve been by four times already, and I’ve not been disappointed. Good doppio on the first visit, a tasty egg nog/pumpkin spice latte on the second visit, and delicious paninis the third and fourth times. The folks who own this are really nice people who take suggestions well. For example, I was interested in a chai tea the first time but balked because they were using chai syrup, which I don’t really care for. I suggested they consider using Oregon Chai or Tazo Chai. Went in a few days later, and they were using Oregon Chai. Talk about taking customer feedback to heart! The space this coffee shop is in has been home to many restaurants over the years, and I think this business really fits it well. It’s quite relaxed and more Seattle in style than Tri-Cities, which I like. It has good music, free wi-fi and nice folks. I’d like to see a vegetarian and/or vegan option on the panini menu, but I realize the food is not the main part of the business and the Tri is not exactly a hotbed of vegetarianism. NOTE: This place is now sadly out of business.
