Well the food at Jack’s café was good and reasonable priced for a small little café. The staff in the store section was very friendly and helpful. Diane went out of her way to make sure I found what I wanted and was very kind and helpful with things in the area related to lighthouses.

I went looking for a souvenir for my wife and friends. I found a couple of items. The place was stocked very well. The staff all had smiles on their face. Didn’t get to spend a lot of time because of time crunch but it was a nice little shop.

It’s like taking a step back in time. Very interesting items are sold, just a cute place with a little restaurant inside.

Andrea’s is my favorite place in town when I want a gift, Christmas ornaments and jelly beans at Easter time. I also go there when I need cheering up or i just want to browse at all the cool stuff. They have wonderful candy, including their own privately made jelly beans. There’s baby items, jewelry, kitchen stuff, books, great cards, unique clothing, purses, items for the home and so much more. They have great food in the deli, yummy malts & it is very busy — so be warned. Everyone there is wonderful, kind, helpful, often funny too! There’s gift wrapping available, a frequent shopper point program, oh my, do you need more? Just go there and see for yourself– you will love it! Oh yeh, they do have those funny cigar things there too, & they sell the empty wooden boxes from the cigars(cash only) for a local charity. Great collectibles.

TOTALLYRUDE! Don’t go here is you have any medical conditions unless you want them to ask you why you are sick! I called ahead of time to ask if I could being my service«companion dog» and they said yes. My mom and I got all dressed up in our holiday attire as we wanted to have a home for the holidays celebratory lunch. We sat down with the dog who was behaving. The waitress stopped us and told us we had to leave!!! I explained that he was a service dog and then she proceeded to ASKMEIF I HAVESEIZURES!!! How dare them!!! I even talked to the mgr AND even the girl I taked to on tge phone and they still wouldn’t let us stay. What the hell? Whatever happened to ADA!!! I would have given 5 stars for food and selection since I’ve been going here for years(3 generations of my family have been going here!). I felt so violated. No way to treat a loyal customer. Andrea’s needs to stick to their word!

My absolute favorite Kenosha store! Places like this are few and far between. Family owned for generations. Celebrating their 100th year in 2011. They have the BEST selection for unique gifts, local goodies and not to mention Vera Bradley. They take the time to select just the right merchandise. This place is a real gem. And if you haven’t visited them during the Christmas season, put it on your calendar to do next year. It’s a one-of-a-kind place to be, and beats any shopping mall, hands down. Not to mention that their entire staff is so friendly. How many places can you find that will gift wrap your purchase FORFREE during the height of the Christmas rush? Mary Pat, Dave, Scott and the whole team make it a great experience that keeps people coming back for more. And Jack’s Café is a must as well. From the homemade soups to the malts, it can’t be beat. Be careful about trying to get a seat during peak times, because the place is small, so you may have to wait for a table. The counter seating is often open, though, so don’t hesitate to grab a seat at the vintage marble counter. I can’t say enough good things about Andrea’s. If you haven’t been there, drop what you’re doing and go there NOW!

This is the best tobacconist in the area hands down. Their selection is top notch, the prices are great, and if they do not have a box of the cigars your looking for, the owner is always more than happy to order some up for you. From Fuente Fuente Opus Xs, Padron Anniversarios, to Ashton VSGs, Andrea’s carrys all of the great cigar companys and stores them in their nicely stocked walk in humidor. Its a great stop if you need to stock up or are looking for a nice smoke. PS– Stay away from Tenutas for purchasing cigars. They DONOT properly store their cigars or rarely rotate their stock. To this day, I still see boxes in the humidor that are more than 4 years old and just sit there in the case molding away. Its gross and I know from experience they have mold issues in their main humidor. Plus they do not carry any high end cigars.(i.e.- Opus X, VSG, etc.). Andreas is a no brainer.

Didn’t get a chance to eat at the counter, but cruised the gift area. Nice selection. Cards, higher-end chocolates, and some great gift items. Some local Kenosha items(shirts, post cards, etc) up front. Will add it to my list of places to check for unique items.

Great soup(italian wedding!) — great eats — great shakes — great malts — great floats — great gifts — great people. .. umm it’s great? Yes. I have a yearly tradition of getting a new Christmas ornament or doodad here when we’re visiting family — it makes spending time in Wisconsin during the winter months just a little bit warmer. It’s such a hometown/feel-good place — I can’t wait for my annual visit!

If you’re a coffee lover and a shake lover, get the Mocha Malt. My stomach craves it and cramps thinking about drinking another. Also remember that after 2:30 pm, the café offers a limited cold sandwich only menu.
