Safelite AutoGlass

Love love love Safelight! I have unfortunately had to use their services two times due to rocks cracking my windshield. Their online appointment scheduling is very easy to use which was awesome. Took me maybe 5 minutes to schedule my appointment. On both occasions they were prompt, polite and extremely professional. The quality of the repair was also great. I highly recommend them but I am hoping none of you have a reason to request their services in the future!!!

Outstanding service! The technician, Ed Lema, came to my home and did an excellent repair of my car windshield. Professional, informative, customer oriented. Very impressed with Safelite, from initial contact using their internet page, to the follow up call from their customer service, reminders by text messaging, handling of insurance and payment and finally, by their actual on-​site service! Again, outstanding!

Amazing Service! The tech explained the procedure and he did such an awesome job, I can’t see where my glass ever had a rock chip. The tech also vacuum and cleaned all of my windows. I see why this is such a successful company. Great service! 2 thumbs up!

We have a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche. The midgate cracked– shattered — when we turned on the defroster during our first cold snow. We were referred to Safelite by a Chevrolet dealer. They were able to get us the midgate at about half of the dealer price and deliver it to the Kenosha location. While discussing the price with the Safelite employee, my husband asked about installation and was told that it would cost about $ 60. The midgate is a window that is designed to be removed. It takes less than a minute to «install». He then asked if there was a reason to have them install it and was told there was none if we were certain we could do it. We arrived at the Kenosha location the next morning to pick up the midgate. The price was now $ 35 more than we were quoted and we were told there was no warranty unless they installed it and we paid the additional $ 60. The employee would not even discuss the fact that the price had gone up. She dismissed us completely. Now that we knew the warranty was good only with installation, she told us they were absolutely booked and the installation guy couldn’t fit us in. We were willing to pay the $ 60 for the minute it takes to «install». We offered to go clean out the glass for the shattered window and come back for the «install» waiting for a break between cars. She was unwilling to even discuss it. We left and spent $ 4 at a nearby car wash vacuuming out the glass and then took about 45 seconds to «install» the new midgate. I am thankful that we purchased the piece for half of the dealer price, but I am appalled at how unwilling the clerk was to help us and how unfriendly she was about it. If she had told us that there was no warranty unless they installed it we would have made an appointment. I’m puzzled about the service we received.
