Angelic was our waitress super fake, not to mention took 10 mins to get our order taken. There was only two other people in the restaurant. Sad to see this place going down hill. My medium rare burger was well done. Get your restaurant back up to par…

Breakfast served promptly. Eggs came served with hash browns and choice of pancakes or toast. All was fresh and hot.

This restaurant seems to be steadily going downhill. Used to be great, now not so much. Soup was cool, server didn’t care. Found a hair in the salad, server didn’t care and no attempt to make it right. Food was blah and tasteless. They now charge extra for refills but don’t let you know till you get the bill. Extra thick malt was the consistency of a chocolate milk. All around disappointment, spend your money elsewhere.

Best Fried Chicken and you get two sides of your choice (I like this option) I… can order what I… want to go along with my chicken dinner. The Soft Flour Shelled Tacos are G-​R-​E-​A-​T!!! They are FULL of seasoned meat, onions, cheese and tomato (any or all the toppings of your choice) you can also have Sour Cream and or Hot Sauce. The wait staff is GREAT and the food is quick to get to your table. GREAT food and service here I WILL BE BACK SOON! THEY HAVE GREAT HOMEMADE SOUP for dine in or take away.
Their ENTIRE MENU can be called in for ”take away” (”take out”).

Friendly, clean and good food! Older generation type of restaurant! I still recommend it!

I give the food an average, I probably won’t go back and definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to go there. Staff was very friendly and good service.

I am a regular lunchtime customer at Hillcrest. Great food, great prices, great service. Won’t go anywhere else for lunch.

Kind of a 70’s décor, but he food is really good. Prices are very reasonable, and the wait service is friendly. You can pay a lot more for a meal that is not as good, and you can’t eat the décor anyway!

Family restaurant? Uhhhh. I’m always skeptical, and in particular about breakfast. But, I was pleasantly surprised. Not a greasy spoon! Crepes were good and so was the western omelette, and tea was served ok. Waitress was very responsive. Nice. We’ll definitely come back again.

The breakfast is delicious if you love biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, bacon, hasbrowns! Décor is dated but the food and staff make-​up for it. And the prices are great.

Great food, great prices. Enviorment is a bit outdated, but you can enjoy any meal here as I have yet to eat anything that I didn’t enjoy, steak & eggs, strawberry stuffed french toast, lasagna are three of my favorites..

Worst dining experience of my life, it’s almost amazing how they manged to make every part of the meal unenjoyable. Nothing tasted good. That’s not an exaggeration, the eggs, the toast, the coffee, the fries were all horrible. Don’t come here, waste of time and money.

I really enjoyed the breakfast. The potatoes with peppers, onions, cheese, and stuff were good. I like that the bell pepper smelled and tasted fresh! The cheese was plentiful. There was very little salt if any at all. Service was extremely fast — like we had our orders in approx. 7 minutes fast. I was QUITE pleased. When I tasted the french toast, I was surprised to actually taste the eggs! Either other restaurants don’t dip the bread into egg to make french toast or they don’t dip it into real egg. This is the first time I actually tasted the egg and it was good. It was made with Italian bread! Does this sound like a gourmet meal? Three adults ate for $ 14.25!

wife and i stopped in for a «quick dinner» one night. after 15 minutes of waiting, not one employee even said hello to us! there were a handfull of seniors in the dining area but it was definately not packed or i would have understood the wait. without a menu or even a lousy glass of water, we finally got up and walked out right past the hostess who couldn’t have cared less. we chose fast food instead and were eating in no time!

Average diner food, GREAT service.

Used to live in Kenosha and remembered my mom and dad taking me and my kid sister to this place for breakfast on the weekends. Was in town for the first time in 18 years and stopped by. Place hasn’t changed much at all and the food is still as good as I remember. Kinda reminds me of a small pancake house. Bypass Ihop and Crackerbarrel on Exit 344 ppl! Go down just a little ways on the same side of the road, better food for just the same price. This is a little Gem in Kenosha that needs to be visited!

The fish fry is pretty darn good here. Lots of nice waitresses! THe coffee is tastey too. A nice affordable place for seniors, wich is the main customer around 4 p.m.Good sandwiches!
