I own two of John’s fine instruments, a steel string and a nylon string. I won’t bother even trying out any other guitars for the rest of my life. The tone, ease of play, and visual beauty make me what to take out one(or both) of these guitars and start playing the moment I get out of bed. Worth every penny and then some.

John restored my 1974 hand-made Yamaha and his level of detail/perfection brought tears to my eyes. I mean it! He is one of a very rare breed and his passion shows in so many ways… I could not be happier! THANKYOU so much, John.

As other reviewers have said, John makes amazing guitars. But he also can make any guitar sound better. We bought a student guitar for my son a few years ago when he started playing. It has been a treat to watch and hear my son learning on such a great guitar. Mello takes the time to improve the two types of student guitars, and he cares about young musicians having good instruments to play. He also has helpful advice about good teachers and will do trade ins on any guitar he’s sold you if you want to upgrade.
