AMC Kent Station 14

Some people have a weird perception about Kent Station. Im unsure why. The parking garage is great and never hard to find a spot. Few places to eat before seeing a movie that should appeal to everyone. Now AMC Kent Station is a great theater. Comfortable seating and not a bad seat in the house. Staff are competent and friendly.

Best local Cinema by far. Comfortable seats, clean and easy to get to.

I like the area. I like the idea of the movie theater surrounded by restaurants which is a like a dream come true.
The area is pretty clean, it’s on the smaller side comparing to other movie theaters. The staff here are short so they would be all over the place because they lack people. But overall, this place is really neat especially that it has a nearby building dedicated for parking.

It feels weird giving a movie theater 5 stars, but I have no complaints about this place. Experience with staff has always been pleasant, I’ve never had problems with not getting a good seat, etc.
They also just put in a new Coca Cola Freestyle machine which is a plus for me!

My favorite theater-it’s new (ish), clean, close to work, and the seats are very comfy. I didn’t rate it a 5 for a few reasons: For some inexplicable reason, they changed the prices to mostly odd amounts, like $ 5.76 or $ 12.90 instead of just rounding it off like other theatres; it’s not only baffling, but annoying when paying with cash. Also, the concession prices are laughable. I supposed this has more to do with how the ticket revenue is divided between the studio and venue, but if you have to sell $.25 worth of popcorn for $ 6 to make money, something is very wrong with the business model.

I like this theater, comfortable seats and it’s usually clean — I would choose this over the others near by.

I go to AMC Kent Station at least twice a month and have for many years. The staff is very good to excellent. Costs for admission and concession are typical of first rate theatres, very high but not out of line in comparison to others of similar quality.
Every great once in a while, they forget to clean a theatre between screenings (it happened to us the other night) Most of the time, they get it right. I’ve always been greeted well.

Always good service, not fast but good, great locations and nice people.
Bathrooms clean most of the time

Recently went there with all my employees. Very nice theater but I wish they offered pre-​assigned or reserved seating. We had like 15 people total and we couldn’t all sit together. I know it really doesn’t matter and that we are all just sitting down watching a movie but some theaters offer it and it is quite nice.

I’ve only come here for one of those all day screenings of Oscar or Grammy nominated movies. It left a good impression. It is kind of a neatly designed theater, it’s big and is clean. Apparently, the seats are comfortable because i watched four movies in a row with no problem. It is situated in a pretty nice outdoor mall with a few good restaurants and unique stores, along with some of the usual retail. If I lived nearby, I would be pretty happy for this to be my go-​to theater for new mainstream movies.

Would give 5 stars but they don’t have slurpee straws even though they sell frozen coke?!?

This is a really nice movie Theatre. I go almost every weekend with my mom and son. The pavilion and shopping is great, movie theatre and bathrooms are clean and everyone is very nice.
Even though it is located in Kent… I would recommend it to everyone.

It is a OK theater but I was shocked by the difference in ticket prices — $ 2.25 each for seniors (afternoon) over the theater by the Supermall. and $ 2.75 over the Federal Way theater. Note the adult prices are not significantly different — apparently Federal Way and Auburn appreciate the contributions of seniors more.
It is a nice and clean theater and the sound plus picture quality were equal to the other two I mentioned but definitely not worth the price.
Food service was good but again not significantly different so overall — I would not recommend it for anyone over the senior age.

I love Kent Stations AMC theatre. It’s clean, food service is quicker then most and I feel like they have a larger number or the large theaters for popular movies.

Pretty good theater — Lots of different options but we don’t go as much as we used to. This place is a little bit more expensive than the local theater and the only difference is that they offer IMAX.
My biggest complaint? If you’re going to sell slushies, provide spoon straws!!!

One of the main draws (for me) of Kent Station.
The staff is friendly enough, the facility clean, and the seating is stadiumish.
I understand that most movie theaters have lines. That’s a good thing for business. But something about the lines at this one annoys me. I think maybe it’s because at any given point, one (or even two) of the automated ticket machines are broken.
If I have the extra time, I’ll go to Southcenter or The Landing. The experience as a whole just seem to be a little better there.

There is a reason I hardly ever go to the movies these days… the experience generally sucks. We got there very early for the 10:10 show, the show didn’t start until 10:30– a 2 ½ hour movie had 20 minutes of previews– who’s got time for this crap? The volume started up very very loudly for the safety warning, we were all deafened out of the blue. Then we stuck between two big and annoying people, he brought his own chips– they were soooo loud. I stared daggers into him several times, but he continued. Some really annoying lady wanted out twice, if you know you’re gonna need out during the movie, sit by the aisle.
It was a crowd for the 10:10 Hunger Games but the overall experience was lame. Bathrooms were not that tidy and I have to wonder why people enjoy this experience on a regular experience.
So I guess I can’t deal with the people at movies but the movie place was okay.

This theatre is fairly close to our place, so it’s obviously our first choice when we want to go see a movie. It is a part of Kent Station, so the area is fairly nice and well-​maintained. The theatre itself is very clean and the employees are very friendly. Like most AMCs, they have stadium seating (and comfy seats!). The restrooms have plenty of stalls and are clearly cleaned regularly. There is plenty of parking (make sure you check out the parking garage if the regular lots are full) and it’s FREE, which is always a bonus.
Definitely check this theatre out if you are in the area.

Hate this place. Asked for a refund, got charged for three more tickets. When the staff person did it, he whispered under his breath, and wasn’t going to say anything, until I called him on it. $ 53 dollar charge to see a movie. Wow. I know times are rough at Kent Station, but really?
Not coming back, not even to use the bathroom, which, by the way, has no working faucets. Come on… use some of that money you stole from me to fix those metered faucets eh?
