Applebee’s

This Applebee’s is now the closest one to my place (the other being the one in Covington). I been here a few times and I’ve had great service each I’ve been here, the atmosphere is very chill and the food is what you expect from any Applebee’s. The inside has a sleek Design with a lot of Seahawks/​Sounders colors. It’s just a all around chill environment.

We are regulars here… My kids always enjoy the ambience. The food is good american food. We usually order steak and pasta… We will continue to eat here

I actually want to give this place 4 stars, because the staff has always been good to me. I used to go weekly for their ½ price apps and grab a few beers, but they revamped the menu and it just isn’t as good. They did that earlier this year and everyone I know seemed to just lose interest including me. I’ll probably go back and give it another try though.

Have to admit I wasn’t expecting much based on other reviews and, well honestly, past experiences at Applebees.
Met my wife here after work for a quick burger.
The location is clean and well laid laid out and very comfortable. Greeted right away and as it was slow sat right away as well.
Lots of new menu items since the last time I was in but still stuck with the original plan of getting a burger.
The burgers were prepared just as asked, tasty, and nice sized. A few different options for fries were also available. Our server was friendly and on top of making sure we had everything we needed.
Had zero complaints and would have no issues going back here again when just wanting to hit a chain restaurant.

I’ve been to one too many Applebees in my lifetime & this one in Kent is really nice as far as inside décor! Although I think it is weird to have «Kent» as part of the sign (see picture). Maybe it’s city pride? Anyways, it seems smaller than others I’ve been to but more «bar-​sy» at the same time so I like it. Great first impression.
No complaints on the service. Went for late HH on two separate weekends and while it was a fairly full house, there was no wait, or disruptions that I can even think of. And I am one to be very critical with customer service, having worked in the industry for 5 years.

It’s applebees. What else is there to say. The happy hour is the only reason I go… cheap drinks and cheap food. The oriental chicken salad and chicken wonton tacos are my favorites… also always add the doubpe shot for an extra buck, always worth it.

This is a one of a kind Applebee’s. It has unusual décor for the brand … The food is just like all the others and pretty good for the price in my opinion. They run some good specials from time to time.

2 stars for the memories and 1 star for the service.
We had to wait a while until someone got us a table and they weren’t that busy either. Once we got the table the waiter took his time to get to us. We ordered our drinks and appetizers, they got to us real quick with those. So then we ordered our food and we were waiting and waiting. We finished our apps and were full by then. The waiter came by and asked if we wanted a box for a mozzarella stick. As if I only went there for a drink and apps. I told him I was still waiting for my food to get here. He went back to check what the hold up was. He came back to tell us that they had lost our ticket and if we still wanted the food or not. I waited another 10 minutes for my food and I only took 5 bites of it and was stuffed. I waited a good 45 minutes for my food to come out the kitchen because they lost the ticket. The waiter didn’t even offer to give us the apps for free or anything. Other than the food being pretty good, the people are just unorganized. Never coming here again.

This place is good for dinner and late night. Food is awesome specially their chicken wings. The only reason i’m giving this place three star is their service but i love their food and staff is nice i will be eating here again.

Waiters here are super uncoordinated, all staff is young, late teens early twenties. If you’re not too hungry I recommend going someplace else. Only reason why we’re here is that the kids were super hungry and wanted pasta and hot wings.

So I was a regular as you can see by my checkins. The first strike was they got rid of the trivia. I would love to go and do some trivia and have a few libations and some apps. I was still OK cause the food was still pretty decent and I loved to go in for ½ price appetizers.
Then they did a little downsizing on their portions. The side salads went down a noticeable amount. The appetizers well they are smaller but they put them on smaller serving trays hoping you won’t notice. I usually go with 2 other people and 3 apps would fill us up. It’s just not a good deal anymore. Now since February on the new menu after 4 apps we were still a little hungry. Also the last 2 times we were almost completely ignored. Sorry but this is now my last choice. There are plenty of other places to go nearby with ½ price apps plus some of them have trivia too.

We love coming here & think the staff is great. I’m extremely disappointed that Applebee’s has decided to make the appetizers so much smaller, limited what you can order off the happy hour menu. We will not be back during happy hour again. The Ram 5 mins from here will now be getting our business. We work hard & like to treat ourselves every now & again., coming to enjoy the variety of appetizers here was something we used to enjoy.

Here now and the service is so shitty!!! We got seated, server came by «oh I’ll be with you in a minute» 10 minutes later someone else comes by «has your server been by? Here I’ll take your order and give it to her» she comes by 5 minutes later «ID’s» and another 5 minutes later «oh the drinks still aren’t ready can I get you water?» This place sucks!!! Oh we don’t even know the servers name because she still hasn’t introduced herself. She certainly is getting no tip and I’m going complain!!! I just wonder how long it’s going to take to get our food… to be continued
Update! It’s been 20 minutes, our server hasn’t been by since! The other gentleman came and delivered our drinks and appetizer, and we have now been here for an hour waiting for our food… flm. Oh! We found out the horrible service is coming from a gal named Sara!!! Found the out from the gentleman that has been helping us. Oh we got our food, manager came by and talked to us, Ron, explained why it’s been slow, understandable as the P.O.S. system went down, but no reason she was unprofessional. Jason, the other gentleman was super helpful and I wish I could tip him instead of her. Unfortunate but true. I think Sara was just having a bad day or something… we did get to witness a guy go off on Ron at the bar, cause a huge scene & he was arrested in the parking lot shortly after. Food was quite delicious despite the lag in time. I was impressed for a change with the food here.

First of all, it took us forever to get water. The waitress kept chatting about things that weren’t related to what she was supposed to be doing with other customers. When she finally arrived at our table, we ordered drinks AND were ready to order since she took so long.
Our food took a very long time to show up at our table. The lettuce and sour cream on our chicken quesadilla appetizer had been sitting out for so long that we had to get new lettuce and sour cream. The waitress gave us all of our food for free for this horrible experience and we only had to pay for our drinks.

Service: horrible
Will I come here again? I think not.

DO NOT COME TO THIS APPLEBEES! The management will be MIA, you will receive attitude from servers that have nothing to do with your business. and your bartender, Aundrea, will take 15 minutes to make 2 margaritas and pour one beer. Even though the place is DEAD. She will lie to you– quote: «we aren’t allowed to serve more than 3 drinks to one person» And when you finally are disrespected for the last time– management will only give you more attitude instead of de-​escalating the situation. Oh also the GM’s wife just might come out of the kitchen bragging about how she just got done rolling 200 lumpias and they are frying it up in the kitchen now because she owns a catering business. But shhhhh* don’t say anything.
Wow. UNPROFESSIONAL. The only word to describe the people at this location. Drive 20 minutes up the street to southcenter or renton. It’s worth it.

Just because im by myself doesnt mean I want to sit in the bar everytime. I want a real server… not a bar tender doing double duty. Fail… if your going to serve low grade processed ready made meals you at least better have okay service. This place is a dump.

The steak there is amazing as usual. Medium rare is my choice.

I don’t set my bar too high. And for that, I’m not disappointed.
My usual consists of something with breaded chicken. It’s either the boneless wings or the oriental chicken salad. Yes. I know. The salad is nothing more than the boneless wings on a crappy iceberg salad. But I can’t say that I’ve ever found any wilted lettuce in my salad with the delicious dressing.
Their white peach sangria is also a usual. I know. I know. It’s nothing like what a traditional sangria should be. And that… is why I like it. It doesn’t taste like alcohol.
I gets what I likes and I likes what I gets.

Applebee’s is one of those comfort places my friends and I can fall back on when in the middle of the night we get hungry.
No, the food is not to absolutely die for but happy hour is good to us. I’ve never had terrible service at any Applebee’s locations I’ve ever been to.
Their nachos like many of their appetizers are ginormous, clearly meant to be shared.
