Just got back from eating here with my husband and son and well, let’s just say, this restaurant never disappoints us! The food is so flavorful and authentic! The chef is very passionate about how he prepares his dishes! The atmosphere is very relaxing and peaceful. I absolutely love the lamb shank and rice and I’ve gotten it about 5 times now since we started going there a couple of months ago. The food is SPECTACULAR and as I had mentioned earlier, absolutely flavorful. The owner is a very kind and soft spoken man. His assistant is also very nice and polite. I don’t know why there are even any negative reviews on this place and I’m guessing they’re just people who are here to simply ruin a business’s reputation. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is wanting a delicious afghani meal and great customer service!!!

We had a wonderful meal at Hungry Eyes, and the owner was very kind to us, they set up a large table for our large party. Delicious kabobs, meat dumplings, slow cooked Lamb shanks, very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Real Afghan Food and real spices. Great service and amazing taste. As an Afghan I recommend this authentic Afghan restaurant. It is rare that I am satisfied with my food as I also cook. I was very happy.

U live close by and I went 3 times there always closed, all the reviews written by there family and friends, and finally saw them open on one weekend decided go there saw there menu and I was shocked to see there prices .I was looking there menu for 5 min and no one bother to recommend anything and I just walked out and they didn’t bother me neither. and there place was totally empty. I don’t think they even really running a business in there just cook and sale some place else

Decided to try something new and came here on account of 16 previous reviewers and 5 star. Well, we walked in and the interior lighting and dining tables is pretty nice and has set a somewhat intimate ambiance. It’s too bad no one cared to show up behind the register or any sort of service. We sat patiently for 5 mins, nothing. We got our own menus and waited another 10 minutes for any sign of workers, nothing. We politely rang the bell at the register and waited another 10 mins, nothing. We could hear them talking in the back and washing dishes. Poor way to run a restaurant that was nearly empty. Ended up walking out. One star for wasting my gas and time.

I had been hunting around for middle eastern restaurants that had something other than just falafel, shwarma, or gyros (although nothing wrong with that!). This place is the real deal. It was almost emotional when I saw the lamb shank and mantu, these were foods I really missed and love. I also ordered got a side of dal. The prices were very fair and I got it as take out. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly. The food was absolutely perfect in every way. I will be going back for sure and recommend everyone to try this place.

Really delicious food. I had the mushroom soup and the dumplings. Fresh ingredients and very decorative interior. It’s a whole other world once you step inside. Chef came to take my order. I like the presentation as well as the food. Recommend!

Came here because of the good reviews and people posted some yummy dumpling dish, we just had to try it out. It’s tucked in the shopping mall strip and when we went in it was empty. But the owner was so nice and started to offer us things before we even got a chance to look at the menu. But we knew what we wanted and he was so nice. The green tea was spiced with cardamom, which I love. The dumplings let’s just say you might want to order two servings because we are them so fast. very lite and chickpea with yougurt dressings just makes them even better. He also brought up some chutney which was perfect. We both ordered chicken kabobs and it was so yummy. The chicken had a great flavor to it, veggies were chrisp they way I like them. He also brought out some chickpea dish and salad for us to try. And was always checking up on us. It’s a hidden gem, we will be back for sure. it might be as soon as tomorrow lol. Please go and try it it’s amazing.

Came here based off the reviews. Absolutely mouthwatering good. First we got the mushroom soup. It was a yellow broth with minced mushrooms. The broth was sweet but had a kick to the end. Normally I don’t finish my soup at restaurants but here I drank it form the bowl. I ordered the dumplings that have a yogurt mint sauce. The texture was so creamy but firm. The dish was so good. I ate every bite. My boyfriend ordered the lamb shank. The meat was so tender it fell right off the bone. It came with rice. First look at the rice he wasn’t sure if he would like it because it had Almonds and raisins. But one bite in he loved it. I would for sure co me back. The staff was incredibly friendly and the palace very clean. Love it. Come here. You will love it too.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but man was it good. And the service was super friendly. It was a thursday night, so it wasn’t real busy. I got of complimentary mushroom soup that was great, and the owner was going to give me tea as well. I got the lamb shank with rice and it was so tender and flavorful. I will be going back for sure.

My friends and I decided to try Afghani food for the first time and I’m so glad we went here! They made me a delicious vegan plate and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Family owned and we actually got to meet and speak with several members of the family. All around good vibes and great people. Awesome prices for the quality and quantity of food they serve. Can’t wait to go back!

This place is amazing! My first time trying afghani food and it was well worth it. They have a great customer service and good sense of humor! Food is to die for. Homemade! I definitely will be returning as much as possible. It is inexpensive, anywhere to $ 8 – 15 a plate! The mantus were awesome, and they even made my vegan friend a special plate! She loved it!

WHY ARE YOU NOT HERE???
This place doesnt look look like much but…
First the soup… mushroom with cauliflower. Full rich flavor. The Caesar salad had this deep luscious taste. The lamb shank was huge and tender. Lets put it this way… I was able to peel the meat with a fork… who needs a knife. The rice rice with carrots, raisins, and nuts was silky and full of flavor.
If you have never had Afghani food… this is the place. If you love Afghani food this is the place. The food here is out of this world.
I would rank this meal as one of my top 5 favorites of all time.
