Love the place! The people are amazing and the chicken gizzards are the best! Jjs is one of our to go bars because of the drinks and the nice people. We always have a good time coming here and always make new friends!

Go back 7 years ago n this place was ok. Today, they’ve cut their menu, havent updated much, id anything at all, and what they had was alright at best. On the upside, there was an old man there that tried to be friendly. He did better than the owners wife, but I think he was just a patron of the place cause he knew it all but couldnt get me anything.

My husband and I went in about 9:40 knowing they close at 10 PM. Instead of being greeted or letting us know that the diner section was closed the gentleman said we close at 10. All we wanted was a beer we had just landed from the airport. Again could’ve offered a drink at the bar verses approaching us in a way where we just felt unwelcome.

We met up with some friends from out of town at Redondo Beach. None of us are/​were familiar to the area and we wanted to find a little pub or bar to have a drink. After a bit of driving around and not finding anything, we came across J J’s Bar & Grill. It’s nothing to write home about, but the people and drink prices were great! The bar tender was friendly, the people were all welcoming, considering we were the «newbies», and to top it all off… they even served us cake! A man graduated from college and they gave everyone in the bar a delicious piece of cake, now you don’t get that everywhere.
Over all, it was a great place to sit, relax, have a cold beer, and chit chat with the locals. If I’m in the area again, I will be going back to try some of the good looking fish n chips that were being served.
P. S. Between 7pm-​8pm the drinks are half off! :-)

Thursday is free pool night and also league night. Nice people. Is a bit of a local dive but in a nice way. The help is a little grumpy sometimes, almost as if you are inconveniencing them sometimes when you order. I always send my husband because I don’t like to deal with them but my husband doesnt seem to get that treatment. Not likely to go back often unless I am dying to get out of the house and there is nothing else to do.

Cruising on a sunny day brought me by here. Happy hour all day on Saturdays. 4.99 cheeseburger and fries, fresh pattie. Typical ol’ guy bar. Pull tabs, sports trophy’s, FIREPLACE, they have a large room in the back with 2 or 3 pool tables. Smoking patio. Bikini Barista stand attached to the building but it was not operating on my visit. The bartender was so cute, HE should be out there slinging coffee shirtless…
