Absolutely love this place, I’m a huge fan of all the fossils. I purchased a very unique Dino bone pendent here that is my girlfriends favorite, and she has dozens of fossil necklaces. If your into rocks, etc you would be wrong to miss out on this place.

These guys are my new jeweler! I was quoted $ 600 to reset a stone and re-tip the prongs on a ring by a conventional jewelry store. Took it to Jerry’s and they are doing it for under $ 200. Plus the store is just super cool! Great place to take your kids, especially if they are into dinosaurs or rocks. It’s not fancy by any means; tons of stuff crammed into a tiny little building, but that’s part of the charm. I find something new there every time I go because there’s SOMUCH stuff!!! Go visit them when you’re in the area!

I love this little home like shop! I like the cluttered feeling when I walk it because it’s cozy and the assortment of crystals, minerals and stones is so cool and fun to shift through. The fossils are also amazing to look at! It’s endless fun and an adventure!

I Unilocaled to find a store that sold rocks and gems and found this great shop. Staff was knowledgeable and very approachable. Had dinosaurs bones, replicas, and fossils. Great gem and mineral selection. Good selection of books to boot. And various equipment for rock hounding and lapidary. Fun place.

I found Jerry’s rock and gems on Unilocal hoping to find a store that carried loose semi precious gem stones and the like. I found much more than I was looking for! The isolated shack with a dinosaur painted on the side is home to cultivated gems of all types, shapes and varieties! Minerals and gems in the raw, by the pound. Jerry’s also carries a large amount of gemstone beads, cabochons, and jewelry as well as jewelry settings. I believe they do jewelry repair and ring resizing… From over hearing a conversation between one of the clerks and a client. The people who work here have great knowledge in geology. I was asking about an heirloom diamond ring I have(I wasn’t wearing it at the time) and was informed that they have a gemologist who can check it out, tell me more about it and I can have it appraised for insurance purpose. Next time I make a stop at Jerry’s I’m bringing my ring :) They also carry garret metal detectors and equipment, guides, gold maps… Slews box(is that how it’s spelled???) And rock tumbling supplies. I can’t end my review with out mentioning the adorable orange tabby kitten! He’s so sweet and quiet. He has an Irish name… O’Reilly? I don’t remember. Keep him in mind when visiting and don’t leave the doors open! :)

Insanely cool little shop. Kids LOVED it, our son was amazed that there is a genuine archeologist on site! Exceedingly friendly. Tons of rocks, minerals, gems and fossils to examine and root thru. How can you go wrong with a shop that has a triceratops skull?! A+ for certain.

Great find, right down the street from my house! I have been there a couple of times and each time I am more impressed with the cool things in the store and the staff! Yesterday, the owner and staff spent about a half hour with my grandson, helping him to classify and identify some rocks he had spent the day before collecting at the beach. They definitely captured an 11-year old’s attention(which is hard to do) and started him on a new hobby. There is something for all ages in this little store. Great jewelry for the ladies, prehistoric bones for all to be amazed and tons of goodies for little hands to touch, feel and find a treasure to take home. Non-stop fun and learning is available at Jerry’s Rock and Gem store!

For a science teacher, this place is a goldmine(no pun intended). The people are extremely helpful and intelligent about their products. They also gave me an excellent teacher discount and offered field trips down to the shop. So glad I found this little«gem» — pun totally intended. Definitely will have my repeat business and the kids loved their polished gemstones they got to take home!

Like rocks? Fossils? Jewelry? Well this is your place then. Nobody else in the state is even in the same ballpark as these guys. From agates and gold, to dinosaur bones and crystal skulls this place is all sorts of awesome. Just make sure to stop off at caveman kitchen across the street for lunch as well and your prehistoric outing is complete.

Exceptional selection, very helpful staff, and the customers you’ll meet are cool So much to see, so much to learn and Glen(or it may be Glenn) was a good resource when I had several questions. You should go — even just to see all the cool stuff… you don’t have to be a ‘rock hound’ to be fascinated by the amazing things in this place!

In our grand state, we have been granted vast and unique fields of minerals and gems which span different eras cutting our state into first 2 and then several smaller sections culminating in a playground for amateur lapidarists. While better fossil hunts and precious stones are to be had in our nation’s expansive southwestern deserts, the placement of this store and it’s founders vision is perfect for Washington’s unique geological phenomenon and the adventures borne from seeking it. If your looking for raw minerals, rockhound supplies, polished gems and unique Mt. Helens ash derived jewelry, this is precisely the storefront
