Family owned business with a wonderful selection. The staff is super kind and very knowledgable. I will keep going back for rocks, oils, jewelry and any other unique treasures I may be in need of.

Our first visit there was AWESOME! Staff was super friendly, and did not mind that we lingered for a long time. The young lady behind the counter offered a bag, and did not mind when we declined one and put our treasures in our pockets. They have a huge selection, and are happy to assist when a price tag is missing. I will definately come back again!

I love rocks. I really really love collecting rocks. This store is very large with a whole lotta rocks and other knick knacks. I like the open layout and how organized everything is. I will return Moore than Rocks. There is parking in the back also for those who didn’t know.

I am very careful where I buy stones, crystals, etc. from. The minute I walked into the store I felt good energy. The store itself is set up for easy browsing. Plus the owners have calming energy, so was a great relief. If you are not sure what you’re looking for they can help(they have books too).

I love this place! Pretty sure it used to be Black Market Minerals at SuperMall, but they’ve moved to downtown Kent. All of the employees here are super chill and don’t push you to buy anything — which I love… We all know that that shit gets annoying. They have a great variety of stones, décor, necklaces/bracelets, etc. They also have candles and soaps, all of which smell AMAZING. All in all this place is great for what it offers — I wouldn’t come here just to look around really, just when I’m in the market for something(if that makes sense). It’s an awesome little store!

I visited this shop today and as I plan to go back. It had lots of space to move about and comfortably shop, which is nice for disabled persons. They had a great selection of fossils, rocks and gemstone at reasonable prices to.boot. The person that was working today was knowledgeable and fun talking with. The only drawback is parking. But if you cannot find parking in the front of this, store There is more parking in the back. I never found handicap parking spaces but I was able to find a close spot to store in the back. This store was worth the trip and close to Jerry’s Rocks and Gems. But for folks with disabilities looking for affordable specimens and ease of shopping(more space for walkers and wheelchairs) this place rocks!

This place is fantastic. I am in love with the choices and how great the prices are. Tumbled and rough stones are only $ 1.00! That’s great for people like me who make jewelry and sell. Also, customer service is great. Very helpful and nice. Which makes me want to spend more, for some reason. :) Great location, very large store with so much variety. I highly recommend this shop. I will absolutely be coming back.

This place rocks and not just ROCKS but R-O-C-K-S!!! I never come out of this place spending under $ 20. The selection of crystals, stones, incense, soaps and all kinds of things is nearly overwhelming! The staff… especially Jae… is awesome!!! Always enjoyable to chat with! Clearly… thumbs up!!!

Moore Than Rocks is a wonderful establishment. They are clean, always bringing in new and exciting things, and run by very down-to-earth(pun very intended) folks. The owner’s children are always making crafts and involved in the store’s operation, which they seem to absolutely love. They also just opened up a lot of wall space for local artists to hang their work. Supporting the arts at the roots… can’t get better than that. The building they inhabit used to be Browser’s Books, which I frequented often, and I think MTR is filling the shoes nicely.

The largest gem shop I’ve ever found this side of the Rockies! So glad someone has the interest to have a shop like this. My friends and I were able to find the crystals, stones, etc that we were looking for. We loved the extra little gifts this shop also had. I plan to bring some new shoppers into their store because they also are interested in finding gems and healing stones. Great prices too!

Awesome little find, if you are interested in stones, gems and minerals, you owe it to yourself to swing by here. Stopped in yesterday with my kids who are recently fascinated with all things rocks, and they had an absolute blast looking through the many, many bins and containers of stones, minerals and the like. Owner was present with her kids, very friendly, knowledgeable, everything we all love about small, family owned establishments. A+ all around, the kids can’t wait to return.

Moore than Rocks has one of the largest selections of rock and mineral Varieties I’ve seen in the king/pierce county area. They carry rough, tumbled and shaped gemstones. Also tons of beads and jewelry crafting material. –And premade jewelry– The store used to be in the auburn super mall, by the name of «black market minerals». It was fun and they carried much of the same merchandise, but I think that the new location, name, and management have made a good store great. It feels more relaxed and welcoming than the prior location, it’s way bigger, too! I was shopping forever! I felt a little like a child in a candy shop. They are still working on getting the shop set up, but it’s looking great.(As of review) Some of the signage and price labeling is confusing. So pay attention and ask if you need too, and make sure you remember the loose stone pricing– you may unintentionally get over charged. I just wish I had a store half this fun closer to me, but it’s worth the drive.
