Love this place! They always treat our dog Rydah J Klyde with so much love. They always have him looking Handsome and very well groomed. They are very friendly and you can tell they care about your pet and they take their time and do a great job! Didnt take them long to know us and our dog by name. So glad I found a great groomer as Rydah J hated to go to pet smart always getting knicked in and cut… Have never had that problem here. He is a happy dog when he leaves Kent Grooming. They always try to fit him in if I call at the last minute the best they can… Rydah’s Favorite place to get his hair cut…

Very disappointed in this place. I took my two cats here to be groomed. When I walked in, it looked unclean and a large dog was crammed into a very small carrier. I told them both the cats have been groomed before with no complaints or issues. I stated how I wanted their fur cut and that both needed their nails trimmed. I was assured that it would all be done the way I asked. I was called an hour later to pick them up, I got there and was shocked. My cats fur was butchered and unevenly cut and their nails were not trimmed. One had vomited on herself and they didn’t bath either of them. I had to pay extra because my cat vomited on herself. When I got home I noticed that both my cats now have fleas because of this place. Needless to say I will not be returning. Look elsewhere for your cats.

I absolutely love this place. Great service from their staff. And my dogs always come out looking like their ready for a show. Thank you for making my dogs look like stars!

Kent Grooming was our regular groomer until we moved east. We originally had an appointment with another facility closer to home but had an opportunity to head west. Still needing grooming services, we called Donna, who arranged an appointment. Our poochies routinely received great care in the past and today was no exception. My daughters Boston Terrier required only a bath and pedicure while our other two needed full treatments. Donna and Cassandra provided precise haircuts and paid heed to the lengths requested. I miss their thoroughness. They go back over the hair with scissors to even out the electric shaver’s pass through, leaveing absolutely no ridges of hair on their body. Additionally, the hair inside the ears are cleanly removed. Their expertise in styling resulted in two very handsome long haired dogs with attractive short haircuts.

As I have previously posted, we took our dog here many times with great, affordable results. We adopted out second dog and took him to Kent Grooming two times. When making our third appointment for him, we were told that he was not welcomed back. The lack of professionalism is astounding. We had not heard either time when we picked him up that anything was wrong with him or his behavior, in fact we were told that everything was great– perhaps they wanted a bigger tip? Turns out that our American Eskimo doesn’t like his nails being trimmed. We now take him to A Dog Spaw in Covington and no problems there. Maybe part of the issue is how loud it always is in there and the small carrying cages they are kept in for hours while they are waiting? Either way, the inability to communicate problems when they occur is the main reason I won’t bring my other dog back and would not recommend this place to anyone.

I took my Chin Yorkie, Little Bit, to Kent Grooming last week and am so happy with his new «do»! He is a cute little dog and the haircut was absolutely perfect for him! The staff is very friendly, accommodating and if I could have rated them higher than 5 stars, I would! I have driven by the «Kent Grooming» sign for years and decided to try them when I was unable to get into the groomer we had been going to for several years. I am bringing my Yorkie, Abby, in this week and sorry, former groomer, this is the only place Little Bit and Miss Abby will be getting their new «do“s from now on. They are overall awesome!

I have taken both my Corgi and my Pomerania to Kent Grooming and was thrilled with both the customer service and their grooming service. The dogs came out happy and gorgeous. As with most pet owners, my dogs are like me children, and Kent Grooming staff clearly treated my dogs with all the care and respect I would expect when paying for grooming service. I look forward to returning.

I can’t beat the price. Shampoo, expression, ear cleaning, and a cute little bow for my Boston for under $ 30.
The ladies are super friendly, and treat my dog well.
I guess mother does know best. Heh.

I’ve taken my Malti-​poo to Kent Grooming once before after a horrifying incident at another groomer that ended up with my dog in the emergency room. I was recommended to Kent grooming and they seemed really nice, the cut was OK however, when I picked my dog up he wouldn’t let me near his ears and whined when I touched them. Turns out he had nettles matted in his ears that were NOT there before taking him. I did not complain, as they were nice and I figured they maybe didn’t watch him while taking him outside. Skip ahead to his next cut (today). I brought him in and the gal said «oh no he hasn’t been brushed since his last cut» I said «I have been brushing him, but it’s been really hot so I’ve let him run thru our sprinklers and his hair got curly again» She picked him up, slammed him on the table and started brushing him SO hard that she had his body shoved flat, and it was clearly hurting him. She said «we charge 60 $ per hour to comb out all the matts» I said «You are hurting him!» she said and the other groomer both said «yes I know it causes pain to brush them out» I said «no thanks I will just take him home». I was so upset. I took him home and calmly brushed him out, it took all of ten minutes and it was pain free. The gal then called back to apologize and said that she was frustrated cuz she had cut herself, and she wanted to brush him quickly. She was mean to my dog RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME because she was frustrated by something that had nothing to do with us. I will not give her the chance to treat him worse when I am NOT around to watch. I will never use this place again!

I’ve been taking my dogs to Donna for at least 13 yrs and she’s truly amazing! Always careful and respectful to my grumpy little old poodle (who loves her like family) and is always up to try new haircuts (or color for a parade) for my bichon. Her staff is so kind and my dogs are actually excited to see her! There’s no one else I’d trust with my furry loved ones!

Wonderful and kind staff — I’ve been taking my older Shih tzu to Donna for almost 13 years and she is AWESOME!
