I like to get Gyro’s here. The service is great and the staff is always friendly. The falafel is really good too. They have a wide variety and some great lunch specials so you can try something new if you’re feeling adventurous. I had the chick schwarma last time and it was really amazing. They offered some franks red hot sauce and it made it even that much better!

So disappointed when we tasted our pita’s. There was no cucumber in the tzatziki sauce it tasted just like plain yogurt. The meat was too salty. The vegetables were fresh and the restaurant was attractive & clean. But we won’t be going back.

Dine in only. I would not recommend take out because they do not know how to pack the food.

I love this place. The new location looks awesome inside. I am there a couple times a month. I always get a gyro but with chicken and I put the taziki on the side. The employees working are always nice and friendly. My food comes out quick and is good every time. I will probably be there at one point this week.

We had both the #1 Gyro Platter and the #1 Gyro in a Pita Combo. Their gyro meat is amazing and their Cucumber Sauce is to die for :)

This place is great.
Very tasty. Fresh ingredients and well balanced flavors. Clean atmosphere with polite and efficient service staff. The open kitchen gave me the opportunity to watch the chef prepare these succulent dishes. Surprisingly entertaining, he was flipping kabobs, building gyros, dressing salads and plating these beautiful Mediterranean works of art all by himself, without hesitation. A true master of the kitchen.
I accidently ordered the wrong combo and my server replaced it with the correct side item without debate.

First time here. This place is a gem. Service is outstanding and the food is incredible. It is a must visit in Kent!

The location is clean and well laid out. The person taking our order was friendly and happily answered our questions. They were pretty busy when we went, but the food was ready in a very reasonable time.
The chicken schwarma was very flavorful and moist. The rice was absolutely delicious. We also got an order of falafel which I thought was a touch on the dry side but had good flavor. My wife tried the chicken/​beef/​lamb platter. The lamb is fantastic! It was very tender and well seasoned. I think next time I’ll be ordering the lamb as well!

The best that I’ve had in a very long time. It’s all fresh and very well made. I love how they’ve elevated and prepared just even the expected dishes. Love the gyro and chicken kabobs. The humus is wonderful and the baklava to die for. Mmmm chocolate baklava *drool*

My brother in law recomended this place for lunch and I’m so glad he did. Great tasting Mediterranean food. My wife and I had the Gyro combo. We’re always on the hunt for places that do good Gyros and this place passed with flying colors. The décor is nice and the service very friendly. We’ll definitely be coming back. Very delicious food.

My wife and I were in the area last Sunday shopping at IKEA. We wanted something healthy and we decided on Greek food. We read the previous reviews and thought we’d drive the six miles over to the Olive Tree. The location had plenty of parking and the staff was really friendly. The atmosphere is more of a cafeteria style, but the food didn’t disappoint us. We were impressed and enjoyed both our meals. I tried the one with a little of everything and my wife had a gyro plate. Believe me, if it’s authentic food you want and not a fancy looking joint, this is the place to go in Kent!

This place has the best Greek food in Washington. They are only rivaled by Dar Salam in Portland. Their new location is beautiful, quaint, charmingly decorated, and pleasantly quiet.
Before 4pm is Lunch, or Self, service. You approach the counter, order your food, and your selections are brought to your table. After 4pm, the dining room is full service and waiter-​attended.
The dishes are served in generous portions, and are DELICIOUS – from the main star protein to the small garnishes. Everything is seasoned to perfection and makes you wish you could live there. The Tabouleh salad had a rougher chop on the parsley and low on the mint – which is just a personal preference. The Gyro and Schwarma plates are the way to go if you’ve never been. I can’t wait to go again and try something new!

YES! Their food is still fantastic and since they moved to their new location (same area, different suite) they have really upped the ante. The presentation of the food is much better and the portions are great — you’ll probably have some for lunch the next day. Additionally, they now serve wine and beer for those who prefer to imbibe.
The whole ambiance of the place feels wonderful. So much more room! During lunch, you still go to the counter to order, but at dinner time, they have a wonderfully sweet wait staff. Just love this spot.

As a New Yorker traveling and visiting other states I’m always partial to NY standards and expectations. The Olive Tree blew me away from the cleanliness of the restaurant to the food and service. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu items. This place is better than any Greek restaurant I’ve been to in NY

They recently moved to a much larger and more beautifully decorated space in the same shopping center! The space suits them, as it feels like a restaurant now, all grown up and everything.
We’ve been here twice, and both times the food has been fantastic, served fresh and relatively quickly, with excellent service at a great value. The server has been friendly and talkative (fine by us, when we’re waiting on grub). The lamb has been tender and not at all gamey. The sauces have been excellent, and the hummus and etc. great as well. We usually walk out with a doggie bag (it makes a great lunch the next day).

The Olive Tree is the best Mediterranean/​Greek restaurant around, and makes some the best gyro sandwiches. The staff here is exceptionally nice and friendly, giving you every reason to come back. The menu offers gyro sandwiches with the option of the gyro meat or chicken. They also offer four different combos with a sandwich, drink, and then a selection of fries or salads. Furthermore, they feature a happy hour from 2pm– 5pm offering gyro sandwiches for just over $ 5! I don’t think any entrée on the menu is over $ 10, so it’s a great place to eat a cheaper lunch or dinner.
I absolutely loved going to the Olive Tree before they moved to their new location, and now I love it even more. The new location is much larger with tons of full sized tables and booths. The interior is much more upscale and fancier than the old location, and they now offer table service after 5pm. They managed to improve the restaurant environment without changing their food which is the best part. I will definitely be a constantly returning customer when I’m in town.

We were thrilled with our dinner last night!
Things started off a little rough. They were busy and needed a few more servers. One of the owners came over to personally apologize for the wait. He told us that they had just relocated and significantly increased the seating so they were still working out the kinks. The servers were friendly and helpful and took care of us even though they were clearly running to get everything done.
The food was fantastic. I had the gyro dinner, my husband had the gyro and chicken shawarma combo dinner, my son had the falafel dinner, and my daughter and chicken kabob and rice. The food was well seasoned and tasty. The rice wasn’t just plain rice — it had a curry-​type seasoning to it. I would have probably passed on the cubed veggies added to it (or added fresh veggies). The salad was great with unique ingredients. The hummus had a light flavor. My husband liked it and he usually doesn’t like hummus. My daughter, who is often picky, loved the chicken and kept sneaking bits of gyro meat off my plate.
The atmosphere is really nice too. It’s simple, not too busy, and elegant. The map on the wall was beautiful.
We’ll be back for sure.

If have not been here, you need to check it out. Great Gryo, Chicken Shawarma, hummus and all the other wonderful treats from the Mediterranean.
They moved across the parking lot and have opened the doors for business.

Delicious Gyros packed with lots of meat. Get the Olive Tree fries, with the Feta cheese they are delicious. And they have fresh Baklava as well.

I came here the other night with a hangry craving!
The Olive Tree satisfied it beyond measure!!!
I ordered a gyro combo with fries, telling the order taker that I was super hungry for some good eats … she suggested the dinner platter. (The #1 for those paying attention at home)
Why yes… YES… let’s go that route. With extra sauce.
She finished my order, took the one behind me and then started on my platter. I asked her what the purple things were as I think they were pickles, she said they were beets. (I think… oh no… I totally forgot what she said…), Anyway… I was telling her about how another gyro place I go to, they put it ON the gyro and it was really good. She said… do you want extra of those? Why yes… YES!
She warmed my pita on the grill, added it to my container with A HUGE SIDE OF SAUCE and I left with my mouth watering.
Let me tell you, this platter can feed you twice. The amount of meat they give is perfect. So tender, the extra purple thing-​a-​ma-​jigs were so tasty, the potatoes… I FORGOT THERE WERE POTATOES, seasoned and salty and carby-​goodness… i need to ask for extra next time. The rice is so good, the salad… The hummus on the side is topped with… paprika?
I don’t know, but my answer will always be, yes. YES!
Ok, now I am hangry again.
