Sidetrack Distillery

We held our daughter’s wedding here this past weekend and found it to be a magical venue with a beautiful barn, beautiful flowers everywhere and a sweet bridal cottage. The owners were amazing to work with from the first time we visited to the very end of the evening when they were right alongside us as we packed up. Sidetrack Distillery is now an event center! I stopped in to make reservations for a birthday tasting for my daughter’s 30^th birthday and to my amazement their plans for building a beautiful barn and outbuildings on their farm were complete. I actually happened to stop in on the day of the first wedding held in their barn and got the chance to see how lovely everything looked! The barn was set up with long, rustic tables and included plenty of space for food and a dessert station. Plus, upstairs is a loft for a band to set-​up and save more floor space for dancing! The barn is flooded with light from the ceiling chandeliers and natural light coming in from the surrounding gardens. The owners have also built a separate dressing/​hang-​out room for the bride and another for the groom to have a place to get ready before the vows with vintage touches to complement the barn!
Linda hosted an excellent tasting and cake party in the distillery room for my daughter. Her extras touches were so appreciated. She was kind enough to celebrate her with a cool chalkboard birthday greeting and we ate cake in her gorgeously decorated tasting room. My daughter loved all the vintage touches and we sipped liquor and enjoyed being together! The hardest part of the event was deciding which delicious liquor to take home with us! Thanks again, Sidetrack Distillery! I hope I am lucky to be a guest at a wedding or event in the barn!
The distillery is conveniently located right off Highway 167 but seems like it is a world of it’s own and so fun to be in farm country right off a major highway! Happy to welcome a new wedding and event venue to South Seattle!
