My fiancé and I were both really worried about taking engagement pictures — so much so that it took us 10 months to do it! Neither of us have been photographed before, and we knew we’d look as clueless as we felt about the whole thing!
After our session with Taylor, that fear was completely gone. She knows what she’s doing and was so easy to feel comfortable with. Our pictures turned out phenomenal and there’s no way they would be anywhere near as good if it weren’t for her. We are getting married out of town, but I will not hesitate to use Taylor in the future for any photography we need in the Kent/​Seattle area!

I take a lot of pictures. I am not trained, but I have a pretty good eye, and I like to document the life of our newborn baby. A. Lot. I think I do pretty well, actually, and our little girl will have a lot of fun photos to look back on when she’s older and say, «Thanks, Pop!»
And then Taylor comes over because my wife tells me it’s de rigueur to have professional photos of your baby. Whatever. Fine.
Either photography has come a long way since the days of the retarded ‘professional’ photos I took every time I graduated from something, or I’ve just been locked into an Instagram bubble for so long and haven’t seen an amazing picture larger than 1″ x 1″ in a long time. Either way (both statements are true, by the way), Taylor freaking blows it all out of the park. Her attention to light, color, dimension. .. incredible. I love it all. And now my pictures pale in comparison. Embarrassing, really. But I am completely grateful for Taylor’s photos, and you can be sure her pictures will be the ones I use on the cover of the baby’s photo albums, because I could pick Apple Annie over Martha Stewart and Justin Bieber over Adele, but then I would be dumb. Pick Taylor, people. Pick Taylor.

This girl is great! I have used her twice already this year.
1. First she did my maternity photos which turned out great! She is amazing with natural light and they turned out gorgeous. I mean, if she can make a 9 month pregnant lady look good, you know she’s got skills!
2. We were so pleased with how those turned out, we asked her to also do photos of our newborn once he arrived. Once again she knocked it out of the park. She was so sweet with my baby and extremely patient. My husband and I will treasure those photos always. I can’t wait to have her keep doing photos of our little one as he grows!

Taylor was AWESOME! We had a crazy schedule and had to take pictures at 7:30am and Taylor didn’t even care. She was so flexible. When we showed up she was already there and set up ready to go. She didn’t waste a single minute of our time. She was also super good at catching those «awkward arms» or «bra strap showing» problems before they even happened! She gave us our photos super fast too! We love Taylor and will definitely be using her again!

We had our 2012 Christmas photos taken by Taylor and couldn’t have been happier with the entire process, from start (physically taking the photos) to finish (getting the edited results). She was such a doll to work with, encouraged our input but took the reigns when necessary.
