The BLVD

I have been looking for an apartment for a few months now and have not found anywhere I liked. Either it was the pricing, the staff, or the availability in the area that has made it incredibly difficult. When I came to the blvd I was greeted so warmly by the manager and staff and was immediately helped. It’s very hard to find a good place around here with a good management team I can rely on to process my application quick and find me an apartment that fits my families needs. I have definitely found my new home!

Great if you don’t want rest and want to live in fear of being assaulted.
Office and maintenance staff is very friendly and warm but not at all effective.
This complex is very disgusting. There are bums living in the halls and laundry rooms at night, but that’s not new. I have been taking my laundry elsewhere because the laundry rooms are regularly disgusting. The halls and stairs wreak of cigarettes, pot, and urine, and bad air freshener. There is trash hanging out in the halls regularly and everything is sticky. People let their animals roam freely, unfixed, uncared for. I have had to call animal control due to the animals issue on site. Some of the residents allow their dogs to poop and pee on and around others patios without picking it up. One resident is allowing their aggressive dog to roam freely a night and when the management isn’t here. The dog has tried to get my cat inside my apartment through the screen door. The management will do nothing. Didn’t even care to take the report or info. The noise level is horrible day and night.
BUGS!!! The fleas are horrible. I was told they changed out the carpet pad. I have not have fleas in over 10 years. B building is infested with ants so bad that you can smell them in the summer when they’re active. The counters look like they are moving because there are so many. You can’t do any food prep in the kitchen because of the amount of ants. If anything gets left out or spilled anywhere in the building including the common areas the ants will find it. You can actually walk down the hall and see doors, walls, door knobs covered in ants in the summer! I had to purchase sent proof bags to store anything not canned or sealed. The cupboards smell HORRIBLE and all my dishes and silverware have a stinky film on them from the kitchen cupboards being infested. I have to wash everything before I use it.
Maintenance is mostly nonexistent and can take a week or more to show up if you don’t bother them. 9 out of 10 times they do not finish or have to comeback multiple times to do it right. Nice guys, but very overworked. It took 4 months to get a working stove, 6 months for working outlets and to fix the leaking dishwasher.
The area is bad. I’ve have had my apartment broken into twice in the 6 months I’ve been here. The grounds are very dark with poor lighting. There is no parking at night. The lot fills up completely, if you don’t pay for covered parking and get in past 9 pm you will not find parking. The «secured entrances» are a joke. The locks don’t work well and the doors do not close properly unless you pull them closed so they are mostly open. I had issues with other tenants walking into my apartment if I have the sliding door open, not invited. I put my own security system in because this place is just gross and creepy. The office staff doesn’t even want to be here after dark because of how unsafe this place is!
I can’t recommended this place. The office staff will tell you a lot of things to get you in here. They are aware of the issues but are more interested in filling space than being honest. This place is frightening and NOT a home!
