Weeks later and I’m still a huge fan. I continue to have wonderful and quiet experiencing in this store. The staff is great, and I recently found that you can bring your own food in. Hidden gem in Kent!

Great place! The ladies who own this establishment are some of the nicest people ever! Their staff is great as well.
Awesome selection of beer, they also carry wines and meads. You can drink a beer while you browse for more beer, or you can just have a seat at their bar which has pretty much any liquor you’d want.
They also can order pretty much anything you’d want if they don’t have it. I ordered beer and wine and other things for my wedding coming up and it’s been a fantastic experience all around!

This local business has everything at state minimum prices AND an amazing selection. The staff is kind and helpful. If you don’t see something you want, the proprietor’s policy is to get it for you if it’s available.
Not only do they carry amazing beers, soda and liquor, they’ve also got JENI’S ICE CREAM and other treats. This place is dangerously close to my house, but even when I have friends who might be visiting from a little farther out, we can just buy drinks and enjoy them in the corner of the shop. I know I will become a regular at The Local.
