Great tacos! The service was awful! The staff was rude and short handed and was willing to help the regulars and let the visitors (Us) wait around for our tacos! One staff member was yelling at us be we had a large group and she wanted for us to wait on our orders. Very disappointing

I have been coming to mi mesa for years and though the quality has declined it is still my go to breakfast place. Unfortunately today I had an incredibly rude experience with the women who owns the place. After asking for corn tortillas (which are 50 cents extra as of last week) she became annoyed as if I was bothering her. My friend then asks another employee for ice and she immediately yells that she can get it and to not slow down her workers. I asked if there was a problem and her response was «every action has a reaction». I am not sure if she is having a bad day or is just being rude; but after reading other reviews saying how rude she was it seems that she simply does not know how to treat customers. I will not be returning anytime soon and am not even sure how this place has been around as long as it has.

My girlfriend gets tacos from here every Saturday, its our little tradition: D The chef, cashiers and everyone are always super nice and get everything we need :) Cannot recommend them enough: D

The tacos were excellent — seriously 5 stars!
The service was not great and I was apparently to blame for it. I could clearly see you were shorthanded, but I just checked on our order twice after nearly 40 minutes of waiting.
Don’t let my experience stop you from trying their tacos though.

Fantastic… carne guisada is the best in the city… it’s a great place to sit and eat or to go… from order to driving away 5 mins!!!

I’m eating here right now. You can select from on the menu taco combinations, or create your own. All for two bucks. I just ate the Connie and am working on the ccbp. And you know what? They are pretty damn good and close to my work. I will be back!

delicious breakfast tacos, made to order for only $ 2 each. What’s not to like? The place is a bit run down, but clean. Service is friendly and prompt. You can watch them assemble your breakfast taco from the counter.
