Perfect little hole in the wall when you need a quick breakfast fix! The tacos are delicious and made right before your eyes. There is usually a crowd and special requests are not appreciated. But order any of the menu items and you won’t be disappointed with the authenticity or taste. Tortillas homemade in house!

Have been eating Rita’s for over 5 years. My husband introduced me to them when we first started dating. Used to be delish! I feel like they have lost their edge though. The only thing I like there now is the hot sauce they serve with the tacos.
Most of their specialty meats are not up to snuff and they give you tiny portions (not worth the money). Don’t like the texture of their potatoes and bacon either. The bacon is usually hard and or chewy nothing in between. The potatoes are sometimes bland and other times have a hardness too them (as if they have sat under a heat lamp for too long). Not as impressive as they used to be, sorry to say.

Good breakfast tacos with a good selection of fillings. The tortillas were really good. The prices were just a touch high for breakfast tacos, but you did get a reasonable amount of filling in the tacos. Overall, I would eat here again!

We stopped here on Labor Day as it was one of the few places open. The flour tortillas are amazing! They are being made right there in front of your face. The tacos are huge. We each ordered two each and honestly we could have done one each. The sausage is like BBQ sausage and not breakfast sausage, if that makes sense. They have a small sitting area next to the main place where you order. Only one menu that gets past down the line. We got six tacos for $ 19. Mom and pop shop for sure. Glad we got to experience it. The tortillas are worth the stop.

We stopped in Kerrville on the way back from Concan to eat breakfast or lunch & went here based on Unilocal reviews of what was open.
The tacos were tasty, the price was good for being on Main Street and the service was adequate. We would definitely eat here again.
I’d really give it 4 stars, but there is no other system to combat the useless reviews that give 1 star due to the reviewer being a child that is impossible to satisfy or lack the understanding the anyone can have a bad or off day and unless the place is a dump, 1 star is ridiculous.

Ok ok ok! So I was skeptical because of some of the reviews. But wow! I am from Houston and it is nothing to find true authentic Mexican down there. This was/​is by far the best breakfast taco I’ve had. No chain being yanked.
I will say the line was pretty long. I only put 4 stars because of the line and the smallness and the lack of refilled salsas. Every table was empty then to have to wait was a while.
I understand and trust that the line was due to how good it is! I enjoyed the no menu, it gave a good feel for a small town tucked away dive. Also the staff really was helpful in the process of picking a burrito. I got the Rita and the fajita taco.

Rita’s has the best $ 2.50 breakfast tacos in town! They are simple, authentic and delicious! We come to this place for breakfast every morning that we are visiting Kerrville.

Excellent lunch spot for tacos or enchiladas. There is limited seating, so you might want to get there early. It’s walk up order at the counter, and head to your table. Everything was delicious and for the right price. They don’t have tea, so you’ll have to choose your beverage from the cooler. Be sure to ask for tortillas if you get enchiladas to eat there. The tortillas are really good.

I grew up and lived in San Antonio for most of my life and lived in Kerrville for a number of years. I have travelled all over this country and have NEVER found anyone with better breakfast tacos! I really miss them :-(((

Quick, fast and good. They serve breakfast tacos. Typical Texas fare. Bean and cheese; potatoe, bacon, egg, bean and cheese; chorizo and egg etc. The tortillas are home made and everything is sitting in pots behind the counter so you receive your order quickly. Great after drinking all night.

Way overrated place. Not sure what everyone else was thinking. Maybe Unilocal took down all the poor rates. I guess they do that now. The place has a very limited menu, like 4 items. The day we went they didn’t have any chicken dishes only beef. So I got the beef enchilada and saw them microwave it! I don’t like to pay for food and expect to see them to just microwave it. The taste was just average and our kids didn’t even finish there meals.

Great place for a quick & tasty breakfast taco.
Don’t stop here if you want a large variety of menu items or full service. They stick to what they do best… tacos!
Tacos are tasty, hot & freshly prepared. We ordered a variety of tacos amongst the six in our family. Everyone was happy.
It is self serve drinks & muffin if you order them. I did order a cinnamon muffin & asked for it to be heated. It was very good & moist. I am often disappointed in the coffee @ restaurants, but not here. Don’t know what brand they use, but it was good & strong (just how I like it!).
To top it off, prices are good & staff is friendly.
Will be back for breakfast or lunch next time we’re in Kerrville.

Have met a friend here only twice. As a visitor, hard to tell about its street creds. But my friend, lifelong native, vouched for it. Forgettable coffee but solid bean and cheese breakfast tacos. Fresh flour tortillas. «They’re not good for you,» my friend says. «But they’re good.» Agreed.
