Nothing tastes right. Had a slight taste of mold to everything except the prepackaged apples. Probably the water in the ice cubes… The fries were chalky and mushy and just moldy tasting. They totally messed up our order and forgot a child’s toy. You’d think in a high volume location they would at least have good fresh food. Awful. Terrible taste in my mouth still!

The restaurant wasn’t very clean at all. It was also extremely hot inside the place. I was just about drenched in my own sweat. The line goes from the cashier to the extra mile snack shop that it is connected to. I would not come here again if it were my choice. The food was like typical Mcdonald’s food which is fast food so I wasn’t expecting much.

It’s McDonald’s in the desert. Lots of flies in the location as well. Well, there is a cow farm with thousands of cows not so far away, so I guess it makes sense that flies are going to spawn like crazy. This location is nothing fancy. It’s McDonald’s for crying out loud! Food is pretty much the same as it is everywhere else, but it might taste a little better if you’ve been on the road for a long time. Service was pretty fast as well, but I’ve been here before where there was a line of about a dozen people. It’s fast food, but with flies.

My 1 out of 5 star review won’t come as a surprise, as there seems to be many, and for good reason. First, they got my order wrong. Second, the drive thru took FOREVER. When I mentioned that my order was wrong, the lady at the counter was not apologetic at all and was pretty rude. Not going there ever again.

Theresa was nice, but she completely forgot one whole order and when I went to go back and ask for that order again, she just gave me the sandwich. Yes it’s the closest thing for breakfast especially from going home after a long trip, but I should’ve chosen Denny’s.

Stopped by to get gas on the way home and decided to grabbed some food. Since In-N-Out was on the other side of us, we just went to McDonald’s. It was PACKED! I’ve never seen a Mcdonald’s so packed! Then again, it was packed outside at the pumps too. My family ordered our things and hit the road again. My sister and I ordered a burger and medium fries each; however, the girl forgot to put it in our order, even though she even repeated our orders correctly. She actually said mine maybe 4 times because it was too loud. Strike one. Then my other sister got a «wrap» which was like a taco. Strike two. And I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich, and the chicken wasn’t crispy as other times I had it. It was as if it was heated in the microwave. Strike three. Sorry, but this is why I don’t go to McDonald’s anymore. They’re supposed to be able to work in fast-paced situations, yet they’ve failed too many times throughout the years. Go to In-N-Out or just make your own burgers. Homemade burgers are much healthier anyways.

As a fast food restaurant, you would think that the staff would get used to the fast pace working environment… nope. Got there to get a quick bite and they messed up on our order and when I looked at my wrap, it wasn’t even a wrap!!! Everything was falling out while I was eating it, not happy. One star for their fries. Only.

I’m am the Duke. Here me rant! This place is awesome! It offers exactly what you are looking for. Fast food that’s served fast. Complainers? Hey, get back in your car and go pee in a bottle. Or you«lady» complainers… find a bush. You are here for the bathroom like everyone else. So go buy your fries and milkshake. Or maybe a RedBull. And give yourself the honor to complain. It’s a McDonald’s on the 5. WTF do you want. Haha!

Picked up some breakfast while stopping for gas on my way from SF to OC. Went through the drive thru and got a #1 egg mcmuffin meal. I was heading back to the fwy about to enter when I found my egg mcmuffin without Canadian bacon! I was so pissed and had to make an illegal turn to go back. The thing that irks me the most was when the girl at the counter asked for another egg mcmuffin to the guys in back making it. The guy who looked like he was making them started giggling like he played some kind of stupid joke. Then when he saw me staring at him he tried to wipe his smirk off his place. Shady little mf. Gotta stop eating McDonald’s

there’s a reason why they have a smoothie promotion now — McDonalds is simply charging customers a little less and giving less in the smoothies as well. These cups are nowhere near full! This McDonalds is conveniently located on a pretty deserted highway, but that is the sole good thing about it.

Ordered a coffee. Little workers behind the counter were giggling when they gave it to me. REDFLAG. Get outside and noticed the coffee spilling out from under the plastic lid. The lip of the cup looks like it was intentionally tampered with to spill out when I take a sip. Coincidence that the tampered part of the cup was directly under the opening in the lid? They gave me a refund. I would have asked for a new cup, but was afraid they were going to spit in the coffee. Actually, glad I just got a refund, because I am worried about what they did to the coffee before they put it in the apparently tampered-with cup. Will never eat here again.

Since when did McDonald’s staff ask you how many cream-and-sugars you want in your coffee, and then take the time to mix it in for you instead of letting you just do it yourself? That’s what they do at this one, and they actually got the blend«on point,» as everybody but me seems to say nowadays. Sitting here as a fatality two-truck collision clears on I-5 just south of Kettleman City, not wishing yet to detour to Hwy 99 and probably reach the 99 – 5 junction at the same moment as if I had waited out the clearing of the carnage, a $ 1 large coffee is hitting the spot. Must’ve been crazy to have thought I’d make it Friday afternoon from the Sacto suburbs to Shakeytown on I-5 without incident. I have done it before, but never after a devastatingly unlucky currency-operated penny slot-machine experience in Beautiful Downtown Reno. However, «McDonald’s Radio» is playing a mix of classic rock and whatever the other newfangled music is, so it’s all good. Sure glad that some luck returned and we weren’t ourselves crawling from the wreckage, and had the opportunity to stop here instead of observing rescue operations. I get no kick from the sight of blood on the pavement and twisted sheet metal, so you’ll never catch me rubbernecking. Instead, I’ve been watching the staff at this Mickey D’s work for close to an hour now. They’re pretty cool, and A-OK in my book. «Crawling from the Wreckage” – Dave Edmunds

Great stop after the long drive. This is the only McDonald’s I know that has sweet tea out by the sodas. It’s pretty great and I’d come here more often for that if it wasn’t 3.5 hours away from me. They got my order wrong… I asked for a grilled chicken snack wrap with bbq sauce and for a fried chicken snack wrap with ranch. Maybe they gave me someone else’s but I asked for another one and they got it to me right away.

Worst McDonald’s ever. Everything is out of order. The manager in charge is really rude. Food tastes horrible. And they got mold.

In N Out rules. This McDonalds does not. Made the mistake of stopping here once. Normally, we go to In N Out when we go to Kettleman City. That day, there was no parking to be found there so we went to this McDonalds instead. Bad move! We found parking, but the place was packed inside. Restrooms were filthy! Better option would have been to go to Jack In The Box.

I am reviewing a McDonalds. In the boon docks of Kettleman City. And I’m giving them 5 stars. Wtf! Anyway, here’s my rationale. This is a great stopping and rest area for those on the 5 going to/from SF and LA. Its right off the Interstate, and has clean restrooms, a gas station, and a mini mart with every conceivable item you may need on a road trip through the central Cali valley. And this is probably one of the only excuses I have for eating at McDonalds. Its also familiar food(from my childhood). So I know what I’m getting. Chicken sandwich, fries, and a lemonade. Oh and a vanilla cone. It tastes the same here as it does in Boston and Honolulu. Plot this on your map. Its a pretty busy McD. Its either this area or spend your $$$ at Harris Ranch. One last tip… you might stay away from beef products here. Well, depending on if you already passed the cow pastures and sweet aroma of decomposing cattle feces. Sorry.

I only come because of a break stop on the megabus to and from NorCal and SoCal. This is actually something I look forward to! I try to be good at not eating McDonald’s so I would treat myself only on road trips! I know it’s unhealthy but I love the taste of most McDonalds items! So here’s what I’ve ordered so far on various trips here: DOUBLECHEESEBURGER — $ 1.50 My go to option! It’s so cheap(most places are only $ 1 but that’s fine) and it’s yummy! Why is it tummy? It has two of everything: cheese and beef parties so you don’t just taste the buns! It’s greasy tasting and therefore not dry. JALEPENOMCDOUBLE This is a new item on thier dollar value menu(it wasn’t a dollar). Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t the word«double» in the name mean I get 2 beef parties? Cuz I only have one. I mean, I got plenty of jalapeños! But just one beef party and NO cheese :(. Aw poop oh well. At least I know not to get this next time :). FRENCHFRIES Oh we all know how wonderful thier french fries are! Sure it doesn’t so well and I’ll hate myself later but sometimes it’s worth it ;) HOLIDAYPIE — $ 0.70 I got really excited seeing this ad! I mean, it’s filled with custard and topped with sprankles!!! It wasn’t amazing in taste but for $ 0.70 at McDonalds, it’s pretty awesome! Too bad it was a limited edition. right now they have the peaches n cream flavor which they unfortunately ran out of :( BACONCLUBHOUSEBURGER I was ready to order my usual double cheeseburger until I saw the as to this burger; white cheddar?! SPECIALSAUCEUSEDINBIGMAC?! Sold! Sure there’s apple smoked bacon but I never expect bacon at any fast food chain to be any good. So it actually took a long time to get my burger. I’m no sure why but I see everyone else get thier order including the bus driver, who is usually the last person to order. I started to become impatient because undone wanna be THAT guy who is he last to get back on the bus! I never seen this manager before but he is definitely a hustler! He is cracking the whip ok his employees with this rush of customers from the megabus! I wouldn’t want to become impatient but I was seriously afraid of missing the bus! I can tell the manager was getting upset at who we’ve was making the burger for me and the other workers were very apologetic. I grabbed it and ran for my bus! Haha it didn’t leave! Sitting down on my seat on the bus I reached for my burger and found an order of fries! How nice of the manager to compensate! Opening the greasy cardboard box my burger was in I was impressed! I knew it was made to order and took a big bite into it! WOW! This burger was amazing! I tasted the crustiness of the bacon! I know it’s advertised as thick cut but it tasted more like thin and crispy – just how I like it! I see 2 sliced of white cheddar and a lot of that special sauce is oozing out! Woo hoo! Yeah I know I’m a sauce person! Oh and the artisan rolls… such perfectly shiny buns! Oh man I definitely got my money’s worth on this burger(about $ 5?). I guess you can say this was worth the wait… I really hope the workers didn’t get yelled at. I mean I know the manager wants customers to have a great experience here, and I can tell He’s a hard worker! Again, this McDonalds is the one thing I look forward to on this 6 hour bus ride. Thank you! I look foreword to seeing you again on my next bus ride!!! :)

Came here again while driving down to LA. It’s your typical McDonald’s although this one is connected with a Chevron ExtraMile Gas Station off I-5. Service was fine this time too. Long lines but that’s to be expected because well everyone seems to stop at this McDonald’s when there are other ones off I-5…lol. My food came out fairly fast, not that much of a wait. This time I ordered: 1 Large Coke, $ 1.00 120 Piece Chicken McNuggets, $ 20.00 1 Oreo McFlurry, $ 2.89 1 Medium Chocolate Chip Frappé, $ 3.19 Total came out to be: $ 12.98 Just a tip, don’t ask for water, because the water tastes like shit. Other Unilocalers agree with me as well. On the receipt it says to send your comments or concerns to or you can call toll free: 1−866−276−5849. If you want, you can also contact the manager of this McDonald’s via there website:

***This was a clean enough McDonald’s and was pretty much similar to all the other McDonald’s properties out there; the only negative was the Egg McMuffin with Sausage had a lot of egg shell in it(a little bit of egg shell would be understandable, but there was a lot of egg shell in their cooked egg part of the sandwich, which shows a real lack of respect or carelessness in the kitchen)*** This McDonald’s is attached to a Chevron and like almost all McDonald’s locations, this one has its own free parking lot. It is easy finding an open space.
