Place is nice and cool inside, with a little patio outside. The staff is friendly, and it’s a cool place to sit down relax on your laptop. The iced caramel macchiato is so good and refreshing. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and was not a fan of it. The chicken taste rubbery, and the sauce is soaked into the bread. It was not worth the $ 9 I spent on the sandwich. I would just go for pastries and coffee and call it a day.

I really like the place, but they really need to step it up with keeping Taro in stock. Not sure what else needs to be kept stocked, but I’ve experienced it at least 3 times within a few months when I can’t order my drink because it’s not in stock. not a good look for the business. Order extra to keep stored if thats the case. Also keep your staff informed when your shipments will arrive/be available to your customers. «I don’t know» as an answer should not be acceptable Thanks!

Took a long time of convincing before I finally persuaded myself into writing this review. And now it’s out there, this is my go-to spot. 5⁄5 atmosphere and cleanliness Definitely a great place to sit down and get some work done without the loud music, disruptive patrons, and dirty tables. I still have yet to see one dirty table at this Caffe Bené. 5⁄5 service Folks here are young, energetic, and very very helpful and efficient. My clumsy self could not get the outlet into the wall jack, I brought it up to their attention and within a minute they sent the young guy over who got down on his knees and plugged it in for me. I wanted to give him a shout out but didn’t get his name. Thank you! I have yet to try their food here other than a strawberry waffle which was yummy. Their drinks are exceptional and creative. Caffe Bené has been popping up left and right in the tri state area, there are some that requires work, but I’m happy I’ve found one that I adore so close to home.

Nice café to sit and work nearby. Right next to the Kew Garden station. Good food and newly added bubble tea.

I love this coffee shop. Nice and quiet, decoration is wonderful and is very clean. I had a hot chocolate and a great raspberry dessert, Yummy! They have a nice outdoor space, too cold for now but I’m sure later this spring/summer it will be great!

The Kew Gardens location of the fast proliferating South Korean coffee chain. Convenient location near the Union Turnpike — Kew Gardens E/F station and a multitude of bus lines. It features their usual soothing wood paneling and bookshelves, warm lighting, and modern look, making it an extremely inviting place to step into for the neighborhood. Among seating options are several two-tops and four-tops, and a communal table. Not much nor too little. Free wifi and plenty of outlets. There is also an outdoor porch with a few tables. Its’ menu is Starbucks-esque, so probably easily recognizable to most. Classic espresso options, coffee drinks, brewed coffee, and tea drinks, as well as a few frappes and fruit smoothies. Drinks are similar in quality to Starbucks; decent but not great coffee, and fairly expensive. There are sandwiches, bagels, soups, and sweets, including waffles and thick breads with different toppings. Sadly, they don’t offer the Caffe Bene signature misugaru drinks, a latte and frappé. Misugaru is a Korean blend of grains that is very tasty added to coffee, and is my favorite drink at this chain. The Koreatown location has it, while a Brooklyn location has it listed as «Multigrain Power.» Evidently, the owners of the Kew Gardens franchise don’t yet think there is enough demand for it. Hopefully, that will change. This Caffe Bene fits a niche, and is a nice option for the area. Personally, will probably not be back until they offer the misugaru drinks.

This place seems like a decent coffee option in the area. Their coffee didn’t seem that strong to me but then again, I like my coffee very dark and strong. The food we tried was good enough. I’ve had the portobella sandwich once and a bagel with cream cheese too. Their pastries are decent too. All in all, a nice quiet spot to relax and have a cup of coffee.

I Looooovvvveeee their WAFFLE! Granted… The taste depends on which chef prepares the dough. But most of the time… It’s yummy mm… Please let me know if there is another waffle joint that beats that one… Mmmmm! Bön Appétit

Cute coffee shop in Kew Gardens with good coffee and a nice space with plenty of power outlets. It’s kind of small but a nice change of pace compared to the stores in the neighborhood.

The Iced Thai Bubble Tea is absolutely amazing. In fact, it was so good that I had to write a review on it. LOL addicted much? Perhaps so, but this is one addiction that I don’t mind having. Now let’s get into the customer service. Impeccable. The cashiers are always super nice and go above and beyond to answer your questions. The best thing about this place is that they also sell food. They have wraps, and soups, and an amazing waffle thing that looks sooo good! I haven’t had the food yet but I will definitely be back to try the food and update this review. Finally, what I love best about this place is the quiet ambiance. It is a nice place to study or catch up with friends.

I wish Unilocal had half star options. Really a 3.5! Came in here Sunday around 230 pm. Pretty busy, maybe one or two tables open. She had the waffle with strawberries. The chocolate sauce was not necessary. The waffle had a slight exterior crunch and pillow soft interior that melted in your mouth. Very great! We shared the mango passion fruit smoothie. It was tart, neither good nor bad. The cheesecake was a failure. It tasted like it had been in the fridge for a long time. The top part was weird and chewy. Overall, very clean. Great customer service. Quality of food can be better.

Not sure if it’s only this location or all café benes but the coffees/teas are alway too sweet, too hot, and overpriced for the quality. I don’t mind paying an avg $ 5 for a small cup of coffee but at least make me feel like it’s worth it. And the young staff working there always seem like they would rather be somewhere else, which is probably what they’re feeling, but they can put a little effort not to show it. Mediocre coffee and customer service doesn’t really make me want to visit again.

Compared to other Caffe Bene locations, this one was surprisingly peaceful. Everything in the café was new and clean. You have your standard menu of Waffles, Coffee, Sandwiches, etc. The décor is pretty cool, and there is plenty of seating inside. There is also a patio so I’d imagine there is outdoor seating once the weather warms up a bit.

It all started off so well… my hopes were high because I love me some non-Starbucks coffee shops with plenty of seating and free wifi, where I can write, read, study, and just hang out… of which there are not many on my side of Queens. I’ve walked by this place a few times and always noticed their cute exterior with outdoor seating. My fiancée and I walk in and notice that it has kind of a cool vibe and nice, fairly welcoming décor, along with the aroma of freshly made waffles. The menu seemed a little pricey but we decided to try the food anyway. And besides, we were starving. I ordered the bacon and banana liege waffles and she had some kind of spicy chicken sandwich and an Izzi’s soda. We sat down next to a wall full of interesting books and knickknacks. There’s one big community table that was hogged by two dudes that«manspread» their laptops, books, papers, and crap all across the tabletop so no one else could sit there. I mean, good for you guys that you’re studying, but damn. Didn’t your mama teach you how to share??? It took FOREVER for us to get our order. We had to go up twice to ask about our order and both times the staff always seemed confused and unsure about what to do, or what was going on. When we finally got around to eating, the food was actually pretty good… although that could have been the starvation talking. The place touts itself as using organic ingredients, etc. and yet they seem so wasteful. For example, they wrapped a small piece of bread in a non-recyclable bag that was obviously meant for a sandwich that’s 5x its size. And when we were ready to leave, we wanted to recycle the glass bottle from our soda. They had no recycling bin. We asked the people at the counter if they recycle and the young man replied, in a tone indicating they can’t be bothered with something so trivial as recycling, «Recycle? Naw, just throw that sh*t in the trash.» What the? Even Starbucks recycles! Needless to say, we took the bottle with us and found a recycle bin, provided by the City, on the street and deposited it there. See! It’s not that hard to recycle in NY people! Later I found out this place is actually a chain. Ugh!!! Next time, I’m going to Red Pipe.

This is my first time coming here and it won’t be my last. Décor: the décor is very very spacious and clean. Very inviting indeed. Got lots of charging outlets and the seats are very comfortable Cleaniness is very important to me and this place takes pride in the Cleaniness. The tables and silverware not one speck of dirt. So happy Food. I ordered the small green tea frappé and let me say. It’s 10000 time better than Starbucks and cheaper. This place is giving Starbucks a run for their money. Also tried the Gelato waffle with tiramisu ice cream. The waffle have a wonderful crunch on the outside and a soft texture in the middle. That was a plus. And the waffle was not too hot so it did not melt the ice cream. Which is a huge plus as well The customer service is very very great so far. As I look around customers get there ordered below 3 minutes. Which is awesome business. Every body does their job with a smile. By the way each day have a daily special. I am off to get another green tea frappé. You all have a good day and to all the Unilocalers come to caffé bene for the best café experience of Your life.

This location is very convenient since it is right by the train station and other major bus stops. Parking can be annoying since it is in such a bustling location but after 7pm, free street parking! The staff is always friendly and very accomodating. The food is always fresh and made to order. The interior is very modern, has a rustic feel to it and it is also very clean inside! This place has really fast WiFi! The caffe’s tv is also playing the show ‘Friends’ on it which I found to be a very clever and oh so classic.
